Great sounding and easy to use

I love this lapel mic.
I recently have started to have to do presentations at work during our virtual meetings and typically I would use a stand alone mic and be on my computer, but I’m not always on my computer and have to more recently be using my phone or iPad to conduct these meetings.
So I picked up this mic to use and it has been great everyone has been able to hear me very clearly and easily I have used it a couple of time for videos and the quality sounds great.
I also let my son use it as he likes to make stop motion videos and dub it later and has been using this mic on his iPad and it has made it easier for him.
It’s plug and play very easy to set up and get gong and sounds great. I love that It has a case that’s stores and charges the mic. It uses usb c to charge and it’s a great size to easy to Cary around without taking too much space.
Battery life is very good, I haven’t had any issues and since it’s very easy to charge I tend to just stick on the charger every couple of days. I do wish there was a better way to know how much charge you have. But overall it’s a great small mic
I couldn’t recommend it more.

Almost Perfect LED For Your TV

I had been looking for a set of led to setup on my tv that would change with the picture to add that extra element while watching movies.
These came very close to be being perfect a couple of things keep them from achieving that but overall they are very good solid lights.
Let me start with the good very easy to install, setup was a bit more difficult as the instructions when calibrating the screen are not the easiest to understand but after messing around with them for a while I got it all set.
And yes the camera stick out in front of your tv looks bad and does take a while to stop noticing it does offer solid performance. It’s not perfect and occasionally the color would not match up correctly but more often then not it matched and looked well.
The brightness on them is pretty good I would like to have seen just a tad bit more to help when bright spots show up the tv the lights could match the Intensity a bit better but overall they are very solid.

The app kind of sucks it has some good features like a timer to help turn off or on the lights but it needs some more fine tuning.
Overall if you want some lights that change with the image and do not want to get that needs to run through hdmi these are definitely the be ones to get. The ones with the light bars I feel probably give you better performance but these work very well.

Great Headphones With A Meh Gimmick

Let me start off by saying I love these headphones. They are extremely comfortable and they sound great. They are some of the best gaming headphones you can buy today. There a couple of improvements I would like to see on a future iterations.
Let me start with the looks when I first saw the images online and on the box I was a bit underwhelmed. I knew it was matching the PS5 design but didn’t think it really did. Once I got them and opened them I was extremely impressed by the quality of the headphone but also in the design. The colors look great and match the PS5 excellently.
The ease of use and compatibility is great it has Bluetooth but unfortunately doesn’t not simultaneous audio. It only allows you switch back and forth between the Bluetooth and dongle audio.
The sound is great though there is a good amount of bass without sounding too muddy.
Unfortunately as cool the haptic engine is I just didn’t like it very much it is very Inconsistent as sometimes it would not rumble with explosions but would rumble when someone was talking. When the haptic does sync correctly it does add a good level of immersion unfortunately it more often than not off and just feels weird. The good thing is these headphones sound great without the haptics, and with it off I didn’t miss them at all.
The haptics I’m sure add a good amount of cost to the headphones and I would prefer them to take them out and make the headphones a bit cheaper.
Overall these are excellent headphones that sounds great and feel great. If your looking for som PS5 headphones you can’t go wrong with these.

Great Small Portable AC

Small sized air conditioner that packs a punch. I have an older portable air conditioner and while it still works and runs well it has a couple of issues. The first is that it’s very large and also Incredibly loud. So I was pleasantly surprised when I received the box and noticed that it was relatively small compared to the other portable AC I have seen. So have unpacking and getting everything set up which was incredibly easy. I turned it on and waited to see how loud it would get. I raised the Fan to max level and was very happy that it was nowhere near as loud as the previous one. Now is it quiet, no it is not it still makes a decent amount of noise but compared to others it is very quiet.
In terms of performance it works great. We occasionally use a portable AC in our kitchen because of how our house is set up the kitchen tends to get very hot even when the rest of the house is cool. And this did a good job of keeping cool. I’m very happy with this air conditioner and would recommend it to anyone looking for one. The smaller size and sound volume is really great and the easy set up and use makes this the one to get.

Solid But Not Specatular

If you are looking for a solid but not greatest monitor for pc or console gaming then. Here is your new monitor. This is a no frills works solid monitor.
It does have some speakers which is nice even if they do not sound good its nice having something if you don’t have any external speakers to have something,
One issue is both of the hdmi ports are not the same. Especially if you are connecting a game console only one the hdmi ports supports 1440p at 120hz.

Using it my Xbox the picture quiality was solid and there was no screen tearing or significant blur on the image.
Color accuracy is pretty solid, black levels are not super great but it does the job.
If you need a basic monitor that you might sometimes connect a console to this might be good for you

Makes My Life Easier

There are few times where a product comes along that does not not need much explanation. this is one of them you set up press the button and then it does it own thing. most of my house is hardwood floors and while it took it a couple of times to get the full layout of my house it works great. my only gripe is that it is very loud while it is working but besides that it works great. if you need something to help out vacuuming your floors, this is it.

Amazing sound and portability

I love this speaker let me start with that, it sounds amazing. I had been looking for something to be able to use when I get to have birthday parties for my kids again. Our backyard is pretty big and having a good speaker especially one where we can use a mic was crucial. I was able to test it out playing music from my phone and had a mic hooked up and it worked like a dream. I also had my friend come over and bring several of his instruments so we hook up and test them out. And it was so easy to use and sounded great. He’s convinced and will buy a speaker for himself to use on his gigs.
If you are looking for something with plenty of power but compact and light weight this is it, look no further your speaker is here.
I am definitely interested in getting the optional battery to make this completely wireless as I think that will make this even better but even having to plug it in now it works great.

An Upgrade From Last Year But Not Quite There Yet

I am and have been for most of my life a flip flopping Iphone and Android user, I typically would switch between phones every year or so. I got an Iphone 11 in 2019 and have stayed on Iphone since then. This is the longest I have gone without switching phones, I did start to get an itch last year when I started seeing all of the folding phones starting to come out. I was very intrigued by them but also very worried about the wear and tear those phones would take over time. When the first Surface Duo was announced I was interested in a folding phone that would not be susceptible to the screen being worn over time, but as the reviews started coming I was very disappointed lots of basic phone features were missing and the phone did not seem ready to go into consumers hands.
Fast forward to this year when the new Surface Duo was shown and they fixed several of the problems the previous one had. I was ecstatic to get this phone, I waited and waited to get in the mail and when it finally showed up I could not have opened the box any quicker.
My first impressions of seeing the phone in person was “wow this is much smaller and thinner than i thought it would be.” for being a book style folding phone I was shocked and how thin the phone is even when you fold it open to use with one hand. Even though it is very thin it is not the most comfortable phone to hold one handed because of the camera bump it does not fold completely flat and there is a bit of an opening. I could never quite hold it as comfortably as I would have liked.
I next want to talk about the screens, they are good, not great, solid looking pictures from both of them. I do not think the screens compete with what you get on other companies flagship phones but I dont think these screens are very far behind. I was disappointed with using an app across both screens as I thought I would not mind the gap between the screens. More than likely I would not have minded the gap if not for the fact that you lose information in that gap. Text that goes across the gap is cut off the middle, and it became especially noticeable watching movies as most movies the focus seems to be on the middle of the screen and losing a chunk of the screen just made it tough to not notice it.
Let’s talk about the Camera system now, it is obviously much improved over last years version, since last years version did not even have a rear camera system but again compared to the competition its ok, nothing to brag about, pictures came out well if you have good lighting with good detail, in lower lighting conditions it was not very great. I also didn't like having to have the phone open like a book to take photos as it felt very awkward. The nice thing is your photos pop up on the left screen after taking them giving you a very quick look at the photo you just took without having to exit out of the camera app, one weird issue I did notice using the camera which I hope will be fixed with software updates, was the screen that is showing you what you are taking a picture of looks really bad and often out of focus but once you take the photo the photo you actually took is in focus and looks good. This should be fixed in the future but beware if you are looking at getting this phone.
The more I used the phone the more I found I did not like it as much as I thought I would. The software is pretty buggy, the screen would not rotate when I would flip the phone and sometimes apps would jump from one screen to the other without me touching anything or apps were constantly closing on their own. This should be cleaned up with firmware updates but it makes me wonder how bad the first one was if it was way buggier than this one is.
The notification bar on the side when the phone is closed sounds like a great idea but in real use it never really worked for me. I also did not like having to completely open the phone everytime i needed to take a phone call, it's an extra step that I don't have to do on a regular phone. If they could put an earpiece speaker on the front so you do not have to open it the entire way to take a call next time that would be great.
I do not want this review to feel like I am just dumping on this Phone. Or that I disliked it, I actually really like this phone. I like the look and feel of it very much. As a productivity machine, this phone could be a game changer, being able to use two full screen sized apps in a smartphone is amazing. I was searching for some xmas gifts for my kids while watching some youtube videos, typically I will use my laptop while having a video playing on my phone while I do something like this but my son was using my laptop to do some school work. So I had youtube open on one side and chrome on the other and it worked great. I did not miss using my laptop at all. I felt like I could do so much more on this phone than my old phone for work, it honestly felt at times like I was using two devices at once. I think there is a ton of potential in this device but maybe not in this current iteration.
I do feel that it needs to go through another iteration or two before it really gets there, but the foundation is set for the future and I think the future looks really bright.
*I included some photos of the device and two examples of rear cameras. The headset on the stand has sufficient light and looks very good and detailed. The low light shot of the remote shows lots of noise even if the light level was not low. I also included a photo showing how the image is cut off in the middle, where you can see missing letters. On some videos it is not distracting but is very noticeable especially with text.

Awesome idea that falls flat in execution

I love the idea of this product and for the most part it actually sounds pretty good. I was playing some games at home but needed to still be able to hear my kids put these on and was still able to hear everything around me. That part is great and the sound quality especially with music is very good and enjoyable.
Now the problem, after about 20 minutes of using it I could feel it around my neck more and more especially if I moved around I would have to adjust it. I think a future version of this needs to be able to adjust to the wearers neck.
Confort aside my biggest gripe is with sound quality when it comes to movies and to a certain extent gaming. This is touted as a movie watching device and it falls very short in that aspect. It has the same problems and stereo sound bars have when you are watching a movie mixed with surround sound because there is no dedicated center speaker hearing peoples voices was Incredibly difficult. I would have to raise the volume and then everything else was incredibly loud. Playing games was a it better but don’t expect to use these for any sort of competitive gaming as it hard to pinpoint where exactly the sounds are coming from besides left and right.
I want to like this neckband speaker as I think it is a good solution for a problem i have, but unfortunately the execution just isn’t there yet, maybe the next version will solve these issues.

Speed Speed Speed!

I last upgraded my router in 2017, and after moving my home I felt that my old router wasn't up to snuff with all of the new gadgets and devices in our house now using the wifi.
I have always liked lynksys and my old router was one also. So I opted to stay with them and I am glad I did, setup was a breeze it took me less than 15 minutes to be up and running. and while my peak speed wasnt any different I did notice I did not have as much of a drop in speed the more devices were connected using the new router.
If you need a new router I highly recommend this one, it is very small and compact but covers a very large area and has great speed.

They will work on PS5 but the volume wheel does not work to control the volume you have to use PS5's digital control to change it.

I am interested in the new LG UP970 4K Blu-ray player. the limited info out now indicates it has two HDMI ports out. one is 2.0 and the other is 1.4. my question has to do with the slower one. is this full spectrum, both audio and video?
The First Port Is For Video and Audio and the Second Port IS for Audio only as I understand. The Point of the feature is so you can connect your 4K tv to get all of the features and benefits of 4K UHD but if you have a receiver that cannot pass that through you can still send Audio to your receiver.

If this works with Nest system will it work with Ecobee* system? I We decided against the Nest system due to the class action suits regarding house fires. I would love to add this to our home.
Only options for other devices in the Menu is Nest, Smarthings, and Hue

Can google home speak or answer to foreign languages. Google now does speaks multi languages, but I don't know about google home can do this. I know Alexa can't speak foreign languages.
In the Options menu I only see option for the assistant language to be in english
