System has many Problems

I bought this system in Sept. 2012. Since then I have had to contact them about the remote twice and had them send me 2 new remotes so far. I would wake go to turn system on and the Batteries would be dead . This has happened twice . Now when I turn the system on I get a LOUD static noise . Sent it to there repair shop in NJ to have it fixed , The first thing they say to me is they found nothing wrong.. Then after many email The guy tells me they changed out the touch screen on it . I get it back ,,,, Now the rear speakers will not work and it still has the static sound to it as well . I just sent it back for repair AGAIN. Do not buy any SAMSUNG products. It's junk.
What's great about it: Not Much
What's not so great: Having many problems
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can I enhance the signal reception?
I live in a heavily wooded area and have difficulty receiving AM radio stations (even local ones). Is there anything I can do to boost the signal I receive so the radio is actually usable?
I'm no expert
but I would think to get a much Higher antenna.
