I was realy looking forward to this game. There is nothing qite like killing huge, vicious alians. Graphics wise, this game was prety descent considering its hard to take it to the next level when not in first person. The akrid lookes spectacular and the enviorment was rugged and lush.
The gameplay was much like the fist lost planet, with the exception of the harmonizer, a tool used to quickly heal yourself with your T-energy, you can tell the design was based more on killing the akrid and pirates than on the design of your character. Unlike the first lost planet you can eathier co-op or use AI to help you with your missions. Also there is a larg veriaty of akrid to face as well as different kinds of pirates and the bosses are EPIC. As far as weapons, the selection is the same as the first game.
Another little differance from the first is the character progression. A cool feater is that you can gain money to unlock online multiplayer, as well as ingame weapons, clothing and other unlockable items and actions, from playing through the story. Also the story is about 14 hours long and will keep you playing for a while.
The online multiplayer is not to shabby. Its no killzone 2 or COD, but its has plenty of modes and unlockables to keep someone playing it. Also as a little bonus there is a mode offline in which you can face AI insted of real players to get your practice in.
The only problems with this game is a few interface issuse and some issuse with the controls. Also when you go into the inside of an akrid like the catagory G akrid, a huge akrid you will have to destroy from the inside, you can tell there was not much work done to the design and polish, probably because you do not spend to much time in there.
Overall this game is definitely worth playing. It has a good campaign, cool featers, and a descent multiplayer. Pick this game up if you want to play a good game by yourself or with others.
What's great about it: BIG, GIANT ALIENS and a good lengthy story
What's not so great: A few control and interface issuse

Good, but not worth the damge delt to my wallet.

Not a bad game, but thats saying alot for a game by sega. Like I said though it was not worth noticing my pockets geting lighter. This game has descent graphics. The gameplay is prety good, except for the flawed combat and the fact that it is a very unpolished game. It was awesome considering that it is the first espionage RPG.
Not very much wepon selection, just the same wepon with different stats. Plenty of attachments though, although every sight you put on your wepon looks like a scope that would go on the worlds largest sniper rifle. Also you cant actualy use the sights, they just increas your acuracy.
The different skills you can put your AP(ability points) towards makes for good cutomization of your character, but at sertant points in the game you need to be stealthy and at other points you end up in an unavoidable shoot out with the AI, in which they are unloading entier clips from assult rifles at you, which is horrible when your charicter is only good with a pistol and hand to hand.
The sad thing is the time betwen missions is where the game is really good. The ability to chose how you talk to people, what you do to people, how you influence them effects the direction of the story,much like mass effect or KOTOR(knights of the old republic), one of the greatest games on the original xbox. Over all this is an ok game with a lengthy story line and the choice to replay it a different way.
What's great about it: The story and the ability to chose how you play missions.
What's not so great: The limitation on weapons, the poor combat and the unfinished design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Another good reason to own the PS3

Playing the demo of this EPIC shooter is all you need to fall in love with it. This game probably has the best next gen graphics of any title out today. Most of the wepons in this game are worth trying out, i say most because the flame thrower and shotgun are very limited in range and most of the levels the enemy is at a medium range or farther. The effects in this game are just as good as the graphics and I liked the fact that you face a fierc enemy who wants to rip your head off, unlike halo where you fight pink and red aliens in a cartoonish enviorment. This game is great online. There only downfall is that you cant customize wepons, as in you cant put differint sites on wepons.also the campainge is short, but you will want to keep playing it over and over. other than that this game has it all.
What's great about it: its nearly perfect
What's not so great: not alot of customization online.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I HOPE YOU DONT CARE ABOUT GRAPHICS

I got this game to try it out considering you can have a huge amount of people in one room. I love FPS games, especialy online, but this game is no good. First of all the graphics are horrible. Secondly even if you stay with your sqad, when you first start playing this game it takes forever to level up because you will average about one kill every five deaths and it doesnt mater how good you are at FPS games. I dont see how it could be fun having to depend on people in your squad that dont even know you or care to help you. This game would be great with better graphics, more of a wepon selection and all over better game play.
What's great about it: The amount of people that can be in a room at the same time.
What's not so great: everything els

I dont know which game to buy assassins creed2 or the sabteur?
This question really just depends on opinion, I would defenantly suggest assasins creed. It has a very long story, hours of gameplay and is a great game all together.

best multiplayer game
looking for a good multiplayer shooter game to play with my buddies. Really liked COD modern warfare 2 because of the special ops. Is there anything similar or just something you would suggest
The big FPS online are Killzone 2 and MAG. I personaly like killzone 2, but read up on some reviews on the two befor buying.

All the PS3s are the same except for the amount of memory they have. It really depends on how many games they are planing on playing. I seggest geting the cheaper 160GB PS3, which can have thousands of games on it.

Can I buy any ethernet cable for my ps3? Or is there a specialized cable that I need 2 buy for the ps3?
If your PS3 has a plug in the back that says LAN and has the shape of a phone line plug then an ethernet cable will work fine, considering that they are universal. If not then you will need a router because the newer PS3s have WIFI.

My playstaion 3 will not read any disc what can be the problem? also the internet and all works but not the disc
If your PS3 is not reading discs its probably a hardware problem. I would take advantage of your warenty if you have one still active. If not you might have to find a place that can fix it, but that could be very expensive. If it came down to that you might just want to replace it.

Is tekken 6 compatible with PS3 move system?
Im buying ps3 and im wonderin if i can use the whole "move" part of the ps3 on tekken 6 or if its just as if i was playing it on a regular ps w/out the move thing.
The playstation move is fairly new and there is only a select number of games that are formated for it. If tekken 6 is a not a PS3 game it will not be formated to work with the playstation move contoler. Pluse the newer PS3s do not have backwards compatability. That was only for the first couple of skews released.
