I must admit, I am the kind of person whom, when a new technology first comes out, I am camped out in front of Best Buy for 3 days before the release date so that I can be the first to have it. When Bluetooth technology first came out, I of course ran out and bought the first pair of Bluetooth headphones out there.
They sucked, plain & simple.
I must say, Bluetooth technology has improved by leaps and bounds in the past 5 or so years, especially in the audio realm.
Logitech has hit a home run with the H800. This is yet one more product made by Logitech that I have yet to find a con in.
The best feature of the H800 I would have to say is the fact that it is a full featured Bluetooth headset, mic included. When I first took it out of the box, I tried it out with my MacBook. I switched it to Bluetooth connectivity, paired it with my MacBook, and listened to a few songs in iTunes, the sound quality was nothing short of spectacular!
The next thing I did was tried out the headsets mic function. I first tried it out with my computers speech function. It clearly hears my commands, and not once did I have to repeat myself when using it for speech to text.
The next thing I did to test the mic and the headphones at the same time, was placed an iChat call. The recipient stated that my voice was clear, not garbled, echoed, or distorted in any way, as it sometimes can be with my MacBooks built-in mic.
One thing I almost didn't notice, is that I was even wearing headphones. I own a pair of the Motorola Bluetooth headphones that wrap around the ears and behind the head (I use them only for working out and biking). These headphones are EXTREMELY comfortable, something that I have not found common in the Bluetooth headphone world. Thanks to the thick padding on both ears and on the top of the head, you can wear the headphones 18 hours a day and not have a single sore spot. That's definitely a selling point when it comes to headphones, comfort.
Another feature of the H800 that I have found absolutely invaluable, is the fact that this headset has both Bluetooth connectivity as well as the Logitech wireless receiver (with on-board storage in one side of the headset) for computers that do not have Bluetooth receivers. This is great when using the headset with my desktop or my Windows laptop that doesn't have Bluetooth on it. This was an amazing design aspect on the part of Logitech!!
The on-board storage for the Logitech wireless receiver is really a great feature of the H800. One thing I absolutely cannot stand is having to throw away a perfectly good wireless device because I've lost the receiver. I commute to downtown Chicago for work, that's a long long journey 5-6 days a week, anything can happen between my front door and my office, so the on-board receiver storage with a locking cover is a very important feature for me.
The only thing I had a problem with these headphone was with my Mac. My computer went to sleep, and when I woke it up, the sound on the headphone was completely messed up. All I had to do was turn the headphones off and re-pair them with the Mac, but I'm imagining this is something that might possibly be fixed by a Mac update, and it's definitely not a deal breaker considering the extremely reasonable price and the amazing quality of the product.
Congrats Logitech, you've come out with one kick a** pair of headphones!!
What's great about it: Sound quality, extremely comfortable, both Bluetooth/Logitech wireless connectivity, on-board wireless receiver storage
What's not so great: Mac glitch when the computer wakes from standby
I would recommend this to a friend!

Probably the best webcam I've ever used!

When I unpacked this product, I expected the usual. Grainy video paired with insufficient audio that would require a separate headset for video conferencing. I couldn't have been more wrong.
The hookup began with the usual software instillation followed by connection and update. The first thing that I noticed was that the software download took quite some time. I choked it up to the usual bloatware that comes with webcams, most of which I would uninstall after the fact, but this was not the case.
I have not purchased a new webcam in quite awhile, so I am not sure if this is a standard feature of all webcams nowadays, but this camera has motion detection, a feature I have found completely invaluable. I have Seedonk installed on my desktop computer, a messenger that allows you to view your webcam over you smartphone or tablet from any location as long as you have an internet connection. It gives you the option to remotely snap a picture or record video and sound.
I love the motion detection feature because it allows me to use my webcam as a security camera.
The video quality is nothing short of amazing. Even in low light situations, the picture is at least 10 times better than even the best webcam I have used over the last 10 years. The picture quality itself would justify a much higher sale price.
The audio quality is amazing as well. Generally, when I have used my webcam for video chat, I always found myself using a separate mic so that the person or people on the other end of the chat could hear me. With this webcam, I found no need for a separate headset or mic while using it for web chat.
Another feature that I found great was the fact that the webcam mount has a hole for mounting the cam on a tripod. I have never had a webcam that had this feature, and I have mounted it on a smaller 6" tripod when using it for web chat, and I mount it on a larger full-size tripod when I'm using it as a surveillance cam. This is a small feature that makes a big difference when considering ease of use of this product.
All in all, I would give this webcam a perfect 10. In testing this product, I haven't found anything that I would change about it. The price is definitely a steal for such a high quality cam.
What's great about it: Video/Audio quality, tripod mount, price
What's not so great: Nothing that i can find
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for comfortable typing.

When I received the Logitech K800 wireless keyboard, I figured great, how does one review a keyboard? In my opinion, they're all pretty much the same. However, the Logitech K800 has several features that set it aside from other keyboards.
Initially, I was impressed by the backlit keys. I didn't think that it would be a feature that made much of a difference to me, until I used it for awhile. I have this keyboard paired with my media PC. Generally, this PC never leaves WMC. Occasionally though, I do use this PC for photo editing and writing important documents because of the 46" screen.
The backlighting makes it much easier to see what it is you are pressing when it comes to the function keys.
Another great aspect of it is the ergonomic form and the light touch of the keys when typing. I spend many hours a day on a computer and thus Carpel Tunnel has taken its toll. With this keyboard, it minimized the need for corrected positioning because of its great design and easily pressed keys.
One of the best aspects of this product is the rechargeable battery. These days, almost everything is powered by either USB or disposable battery. It was refreshing to have a product that doesn't require me to run to the store in the middle of an important term paper, because my batteries went dead (as they inevitably do whenever something very important needs to be typed up).
One thing I would like to see, it one universal adapter for every wireless Logitech product. I have a Logitech Mini keyboard/mouse, and it has bluetooth connectivity. It would have been nice not to have 2 separate wireless adapters. Other than that small criticism, i have no other problems with the keyboard.
In conclusion, I would definitely suggest this product to anybody who wishes not to be tethered to their computer by USB, and wishes to avoid those inevitable midnight battery runs.
What's great about it: Rechargeable battery, ergonomic design
What's not so great: Separate adapter

Print bright, vivid, long-lasting photos with the Kodak color ink cartridge, 10C, a convenient 5-ink color cartridge. Saving money on ink doesn't mean compromising on quality. With Kodak proprietary pigment ink technology, there is no compromising. You get the vibrancy of dye-based inks and the longevity of pigment-based for a high-quality solution at an affordable price.

One of the best investments I've made as far as printers are concerned. My last photo printer used to cost me over $70 to refill my ink and that's not including the cost of the photo paper.
Not only that, but for $70 worth of ink, I only got about 50 pages of print.
With the Kodak printer, for $30 worth of ink, I get a minimum of 100 high quality photos, and the glossy paper costs about $5 for 100 sheets of of paper. Not to mention the printer itself only cost me $70.
All in all, I would recommend this printer to photographers like myself. It cuts way down on your overhead and prints professional quality photographs.
What's great about it: Printer price, ink price, print quality, wi-fi capability, photo paper cost
What's not so great: Nothing

Very good buy, highly recommended.

I basically bought this scanner just because I am a tech nerd. Everytime I see something new tech wise, I have to be the first one to have it.
I actually bought it with no actual idea of what I was going to use it for, but so far I have had it for about 2 weeks and I've discovered a million uses for it so far.
I am a law student, and I keep all of my work catalogued on an external HDD just in case I ever need to appeal one of my grades, the problem is we are not allowed to take out tests back. So I use my scanner to scan the tests after they've been graded so that I can put it with the rest of my school work.
Also, I don't know if anybody has ever tried to scan or copy pages out of a large textbook, but it is very diffacult, and the quality is usually terrible because the spine of the book makes it hard to put the book in a flatbed scanner. This wand scanner is perfect for scanning book pages. All you have to do is either scan the page from top to bottom, or scan it from the inside out.
It is also very small and portable. It fits right in my laptop bag, so it's always around when I need it!! It's not too big to carry it around with me when I'm in class. I have a small laptop, it's a 12.1", and my laptop bag is very small, and the scanner fits into it perfectly. It also come's with a little carrying pouch which is very nice to keep it from getting wear and tear when carrying it around in your laptop bag.
I read one of the reviews that said that the scan quality is terrible, I do not agree with that at all. I set mine to the lowest scan quality, and the resulting image is still very crisp, clear, and high quality. Maybe he just got a lemon, but mine is very good quality wise.
The price is slightly high, I think that a $70 or $80 dollar price tag would be slightly more suitable for this product, however having owned this product for a couple of weeks now, I would definitely pay $100 for it again just because of all the use I get out of it.
Definitely a great product to own, especially for students or professionals who have to deal with a lot of books and paperwork.
I would definitely suggest this product to anybody thinking of purchasing it!!
What's great about it: Scan quality, ease of use, convenience, wireless, small and portable
What's not so great: Scan area is kind of small
I would recommend this to a friend!
