WOW! i tried them out at the store and couldn't believe the sound that was coming from these speakers. they sound as good, in my subjective view, as the $100+ systems of similar design. if i had to point out one negative thing, it would be the wires for the volume control. it would be perfect if it were wireless, but it's really not that big of a deal. i use it on my MBP laptop, so it is actually convenient to be able to plug it in and move it where i want.
the sound is exceptionally clear and responsive, much more so than you would ever expect from a $55 set of computer speakers. i would gladly spend my money on these speakers again. they are bound to be the best deal out there. if you are looking for a great set of affordable speakers to boost your listening pleasure, LOOK NO FURTHER.

What's great about it: sounds like it should cost twice what it does
