Best mouse out there
on July 10, 2020
Posted by: psyclopps

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this when I received it. I have never used a mouse designed for Mac other than ones designed by apple and reliant on gestures. After a day of use, I have to say that this is probably the highest quality mouse I have ever used!
Unboxing: The packaging is very Apple-esque. The materials are high quality and neatly packaged. Inside there is the mouse, a USB-C cable and documentation.
Setup: I went the bluetooth route. The device appears to support Logitech’s Unifying device dongle, but I did not see one in the box. Bluetooth setup on my MacBook Pro was simple enough adding it in the bluetooth menu. The package states you should download the “Logitech Options” software from Logitech. I was unable to get it working on my Mac initially but was notified of an update after installing which fixed the issue. The software should allow you to customize buttons for use in software such as Photoshop.
Use: It is great! The ergonomics are outstanding for right-handed individuals. There are three buttons on the top (wheel included), a button to change the wheel from smooth scrolling to course, two buttons above the thumb, a horizontal scroll wheel (smooth scrolling), and a small button under the thumb. I was a little confused by the last button, but I noticed in the instructions in the Logitech software that it is a gesture button. You have to hold it down and move the mouse to get things like mission control, switching desktops, and so on. Once you get the hang of it it is very useful.
The mouse is highly accurate, the wheels feel like they are floating as it uses what they call “magspeed”. I found the horizontal wheel a little strange. It feels nice and I thought it would be great for Mac, but it has a few quarks as well as amazing features. First, using the wheel in spreadsheets, browsing photos and large documents allows easy scrolling. In Lightroom, it will allow you to control navigation a little easier, Word will use it for zoom, Photoshop will use it for brush sizes, Word will use it for zoom, Premiere will use it to scroll through the timeline. The side buttons are also remapped depending on the app. I liked how in Premiere and Office apps, they will undo-redo actions. The supported apps are low right now, but I am sure more will come with time. Right now, they are mostly limited to Safari, Chrome, Office apps, Photoshop and Premier.
Summary: This phone takes a little getting used to, but once you got it, it is a productivity powerhouse. It will make your workflow faster and be easier on the hands than a trackpad. This thing is amazing.

A perfect little charger
on July 8, 2020
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
So far, this is the best wireless charger I have tried.
Unboxing: Pretty straight forward, a small box with the unit inside, a micro USB cable and a power connector. I was a little surprised it used micro USB and not USB-C. I supposed for a 10W charger it shouldn’t need a lot of power, but just another type of cable to have in case you lose it or it gets damaged.
Setup: Again, straightforward. Plug it in, toss your phone on and you are GTG!
Use: As far are wireless chargers go, this one is very well thought out. It is small and will work on most Qi supported devices at up to 10W if your device supports that. There are grips on the bottom and on the top so it is unlikely your device will slide around; this is the best part. The white one looks nice like a small hockey puck on the table and can be put aside easily.
Summary: Not a whole lot to say about this device as it works as advertised and has a few nice improvements over other competitors such as grips. If you choose a wireless charger, I highly recommend this one.

Amazing gaming monitor
on June 15, 2020
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
This thing is a beast! I’ll get the only negative out in the open first thing… it isn't 1440p or 4k. Ok, now that that is out of the way, time to talk praise!
Unboxing: I opened it wrong. I went straight for the tape like I have been trained to do through a life of unboxing… there is a better way. On the box you will find four plastic plugs / tabs on the sides, simply pull them off and the packaging opens up from the top. Inside you will find the monitor (with some assembly), a Display port cable, HDMI cable, USB 3.0 cable with a B to A connector (b side in the monitor, a side in the PC). There is documentation and not much else. It is nicely packaged and well protected.
Set up: Relatively easy. The assembly is simple, put the stand in place, plug it all in, route the cables in the routing area and gtg! I plugged it into my PC, I have an Alienware R7 with a GeForce 2070 in it. The monitor is listed as G-sync compatible. I also tried it on a generic PC with a AMD Radeon RX 5700 in it. I tried it on Alienware first to test out the G-sync capabilities. At first, I thought I misread something as the monitor setting showed only Freesync. I turned it on, went to the Nvidia Control Panel and saw it only showed 60 hz. I had to dig a bit but was able to find 240 hz option and all games worked flawlessly with G-sync after disabling vsync, unlocking the FPS limits and adjusting the Hz in some of the menus.
Freesync was a little simpler on my other PC, it recognized it right away and I did not have to do anything special other than adjust the in-game settings.
I was very impressed with the build quality and extra features… by this I mean you can easily tilt the screen 90 degrees, there is a wide range of viewing angles, the lighting features look really cool and there are loads of extra ports including USB 3.0 A connections.
Use: Resolution is limited to 1920x1080. This is fine for gaming and helps to ensure good frame rates, if you are used to a 4k monitor this might be a little hard at first. It still looks great overall though. On my GeForce 2070 I was getting between 100-140 fps in Star Wars: Battlefront II which made for a great experience. Overwatch was silky smooth always staying above 100 fps. It is easy to see the difference between 60 fps and 100 fps when compared and it is hard to go back once you have experienced it.
Summary: This monitor is amazing. It is stylish, has lots of inputs, performs remarkably well and supports both Freesync and G-Sync. Go get it!

Perfect for a room, garage or dorm
on June 8, 2020
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
A pretty good product that looks stylish in any room.

Unboxing: The unboxing experience is easy. Cut the cable ties (2), lift the box off the bottom portion and you are done! No need to cut the tape in the top of the box. There is not much inside other than the fridge and all the packaging, but you will also find documentation, the door handle hardware inside the fridge and that's pretty much it. The fridge is light enough for a one person lift but it is a little unwieldy to carry around in tight spaces.
Product quality: I was quite impressed. The build quality is sturdy even though it is lightweight. I am not sure of the exact metal used but I would guess a strong aluminum. With a good amount of weight on it did not bend or buckle. I found the feet a little wobbly in my garage at first but then I noticed some of the feet are adjustable which fixed the issue. The door handle is not installed when you unbox it but it is inside the fridge door and is easy to install with simple house tools. It looks better than expected in person. I was a little cautious of the avocado color, but it looks very nice in my garage. The retro styling is great for any room and draws attention.
Use: After plugging the fridge in, it worked just fine. It has a little hum that is a little louder than your normal kitchen fridge in my opinion, but it is not too loud. I think the sound is appropriate for the garage or leaving it in a basement room, but I probably would notice it if it were in my bedroom for some reason. It gets decently cold for drinks and has an adjustable thermostat inside. There is a small freezer on the top of the interior which can hold a decent number of small items. The door has angled drink holders for easy access.
Summary: At 2.5 cu ft, it is not going to hold a lot of food but is a great second fridge to hold drinks, TV dinners, frozen burritos, and similar items. It is ideal for the garage, a bachelor pad, or a small guest house. Now, off to stock it with drinks and burritos.

Something I never knew I needed
on May 23, 2020
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
This is probably one of those products you never realized you needed until you give it some thought and / or try it out. If you (and your friends) are able to finish a bottle in one sitting, don’t bother with this product as it probably isn’t for you. My wife and I tend to take some days to finish a bottle though so if you like to try different wines and save them for later, or simply take your time to finish a bottle, check this product out!
Unboxing: The packaging is nice overall, it seemed a little wasteful for the benefit of a great presentation but it was an enjoyable unboxing. The unit contains instructions, two argon canisters, the unit, a screw cap and a bottle holder (can't tell if a plastic or cloth). The model three is plastic and doesn’t have a lot of bling but appears well built and solid.
Initial use: There are some great tutorial videos on the website I highly recommend you use and you can get there via a QR code in the box. I skipped the videos and used the included instruction booklet to figure this thing out. Either way, check out one or the other as this unit isn’t very intuitive just by looking at it. The included instructions are pretty good and got it working the first try.
In short, you plug in a canister in the large area, press the trigger to test the canister, insert it over the wine bottle (cork and all) and the base widens to fit around the bottle as the needle goes in. Once in, you press the trigger in short bursts which replaces the wine that comes out with argon gas to preserve the remaining wine.
I tried it with a new bottle of Chardonnay, it worked exactly as described above and was kind of fun to use once you have it on there. Since the wine comes out in small amounts, it might aerate the wine a little as it comes out. You can wrap your wine bottle in a weird fabric/plastic bag it comes with but it seems kind of useless to me and like an afterthought, I’ll probably toss that aside.
Bottle storage: This is where the product shines. I thought it might not work so well as after you remove it there is an observable hole, but tipping the wine bottle over nothing comes out and the cork continues to do its job even when stored on it’s side. If you have a wine bottle with a screw cap and not cork, the model three comes with one screw cap adaptor. You screw it on and use the product like normal as it has a silicone insert area for the needle which will preserve the wine up to three months. This is less than the cork option but still useful. The canisters are supposed to be good for about 15 drinks or so each and only go for around $17.99 on the Best Buy website (2 pack) but are currently only for in store pickup. Coravin sells them for $26.95 in a three pack with one time payment or subscriptions for a small discount. I saw them on Amazon too so they should be easy to get if you need refills.
Summary: This is a great product for slow wine drinkers or anyone who wants to try a different wine with various meals and wants to keep their bottles well stored for months. Worth the money if this describes you!

Probably the fastest hard drive out there!
on May 2, 2020
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
Wow, just wow. I am amazed such a thing exists with such raw speed. Keep in mind, this drive is designed as a gaming hard drive for fast load times but I am sure other users can put this bad boy to great use if you require an extremely fast (20 gbps) and reliable hard drive. I tried this review on a few computers to test performance… the test computers were a 2019 MacBook Pro 15 which supports USB-C 3.1 Gen 2, a 2018 Alienware R7 which also supports 3.1 Gen 2, and an Xbox One X at USB 3.0. I thought I had a device which supports the full 3.2 2x2 speeds but with all the USB rebranding it appears my devices that are 3.1 gen 2 which is now USB 3.2 gen 2 which is extremely confusing. So as a result my devices support a max of 10 gbps. I am not sure there are any motherboards on market which currently support 2x2 speeds of 20 gbps as all vendors I researched only show the 10gbps cap even for most custom builds I could find.
Unboxing: This hard drive comes in a small box which has shows the actual size of the product. The interior contains the hard drive, a USB-C to C cable, a USB-A to C cable and warranty documentation.
Build quality: The durability of this product is second to none. It is not designed for portability but appears to be designed to remain stationary. I am not saying you couldn’t carry it around but most of the portable types of these drives are sealed shut, this WD Black SSD appears to have little vents on the bottom to keep it cool. It is made out of metal and feels tough as can be with ridges and WD Black branding on the top. It simply looks cool next to your PC. The USB cables are a little short and on my desktops the hard drive was kind of hanging a little bit, luckily I had a longer Thunderbolt 3 cable sitting around which supported the full speeds needed. So I used that most of the time.
Use: No setup is needed. I first tried it on my MacBook Pro which supports USB 3.1 gen 2. I used Black Magic to benchmark and initially got speeds of 952 MB/s write and 926.8 read. I was blown away already being able to transfer 8 GB files in just over 8 seconds. My initial thoughts were that this is going to be a game changer for transferring videos and RAW photos being able to use it to work off of exclusively… but I remembered it is designed for gaming so moved toward that.
I installed it to my Alienware PC which supported similar USB speeds, I only got about 850 MB/s on the PC using Crystaldiskbench for some reason with the same USB 3.1 gen 2 support, but it was nothing to scoff at. After transferring Overwatch, Jedi Fallen Order, Doom Eternal and a few other games I gave it a shot. Overwatch ran smooth as can be with no loading stutters at all. The game loaded quickly but loading a level is hard to judge since there are often waiting rooms when getting into a game. Jedi the Fallen Order had similar issues since most of the loading times are integrated into cutscenes with dialog so it is hard to say if speeds were faster, but it again ran quickly and smooth. Doom eternal had noticeably quicker loading times overall. I later tried a game with huge loading times, Star Wars Battlefront II and Battlefield V. Times were still long but to me it felt like they were at least halved in comparison to the old SATA SSD they were loaded on.
The drive is kind of overkill when installed on and Xbox One X. It appears it only supports USB 3.0 so it’s speed is greatly limited. You will not see drastic speed differences but loading times will be decreased.
I did not see drastically different load times from my other PC I tried the games on but it was still far better than the original setup I had. I think a large limitation is the game design itself as most games integrate times for loading into the gameplay such as elevators, long hallways, slow moving dialog scenes, etc. Once these speeds are more common place perhaps games will adapt to it.
If nothing else, you can be certain that game elements will load quickly, there will be no stutter when textures are cached and so on.
Summary: This is a must have device for any gamer. Most computers are not able to take advantage of these speeds yet and there are no consoles ready for its ability yet. Next gen consoles like the Xbox One Series X and PS5 should support high speed interfaces so it is great for future proofing. If you have a brand new PC that supports USB 3.2 you are in for an amazing treat. Most high end PCs support 3.1 gen 2 right now and this will still give you amazing speeds (just be sure to use the right port, some are slower than others on PCs). Overall, this hard drive is worth the purchase if you are or are not a gamer. It has great potential for gamers and can be game changer for video / photo editing professionals.

The best robot vacuum out there
on April 26, 2020
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
Quick summary: A well designed and effective at home robot that works in multiple situations. There are only a few minor issues with connectivity (2.4 ghz only) and size due to the on board sensors (a pro and a con). Well worth purchasing for an extremely high tech vacuum/mopping robot.
Design: This thing looks cool. It is sleek and modern in design and looks neat sitting in a corner when not in use. If you need to pick it up there is no easy to reach handle, and you will simply need pick it up by the sides. This is not an issue at all but just be aware. It has a decent amount of weight to it. The top has a large knob which houses many of the sensors (more on this later). There are side brushes on both sides to push debris into the main vacuum. The main optical camera is directly in the front of the unit. The specs say the dust bin carries approximately 420 ml so you will need to empty after each cleaning. Battery is rated for three hours using a 5200 mAH Li-ion battery.
Set up: It is relatively easy but you will need the Ecovachrome app to set up properly. You will scan codes from the packaging to set up during the process and tie it to your account. The only issue I ran into is that the vacuum only supports 2.4 GHz. If you are on 5 GHz wifi, this is slightly inconvenient. It took a minute to figure this out so switch to your 2.4 to set up to avoid any hassle or the set up process will fail if you are on 5 GHz.
In the box you will find instructions, the charging dock, warranty, reusable cleaning cloth, disposable mop cloths (5), extra brushes (4), HEPA filter (2) and a cover for the camera.
Use: In use the robot performs flawlessly. It is one of the smartest robot vacuums on the market in my opinion. The device will map out the room using a combination of sensors including cameras and lasers. This is why the bump is so large. It will hug your baseboards and walls and rarely will bump into anything so scratches on the unit and furniture should be a non-issue. It will clean in parallel lines and appears to be highly efficient in its cleaning route. Once it rolls over a carpeted area, it appears to increase suction and you will audibly hear it using a little more power. Most of the time the device is relatively quiet unless the brushes are needed, then it sounds like a small airplane propeller. After cleaning is complete, it finds its base station with ease and docks, it does not take long since it already knows where it is in the internal map.
The mopping feature advises you to use filtered water which might be an issue for some. I assume this is to prevent any buildup of calcium inside to robot to minimize any needed descaling. For mopping you will attach the disposable cloth to the cleaning plate. It does not leave any wet residue after going over and vacuums / mops simultaneously. I noticed battery run time was a little lower while mopping but it was not significant. I cannot rule out that it might not have been fully charged prior to mopping though.
App: The app is easy to use and shows you the most recent maps that the device has created. You can schedule cleaning times in there. Firmware is issued remotely as well so this should be a non issue for the unit. I didn’t find much use for the camera feature but you can use your camera to see a first person view from the robot while it is cleaning to your phone. It’s cool to play with but seems to have a specific use case. You can steer the robot while doing this in the app. In the app you can set up virtual boundaries to keep it out of certain rooms.
Summary: There is not much to dislike about this device. Almost every feature is overkill and it appears as if it will last a long time with its high end features and durability. There are few costs of ownership here to be aware of such as replacement parts, cleaning cloths, filtered water, but if you know this going in it should not be a large issue. The only thing that felt out of date on this was the 2.4 GHz wifi support, I would have liked to see 5 GHz support since some users might need to adjust their wifi routers to support.

Amazing for road warriors, great for desktops
on March 17, 2020
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
This thing is nearly perfect for home office and on the road needs. I travel a lot, so I am getting a lot of use on this product so far. Here is my in-depth review.
Unboxing:
The box is rather simple stating the specs in a non-flashy manner. Inside there is all manner of documentation, the unit itself and a USB 3.0 cable (the larger kind, not USB-C).
Setup:
I tried two different setups, one with wi-fi on my Macbook and the other wired with my desktop Windows PC. Initially you need to install the “Brother iPrint&Scan” app which can be found on iOS, the Mac App store or on the brother website. After that installation is pretty easy with the password on the bottom of the device or a direct connection. Just make sure the switch is in the correct position of which there are three choices… wireless, connected and SD Card.
Usage:
Once set up I was greatly impressed scanning to my Mac wirelessly. There was a little charge when I unboxed but enough to let me demo it. I put in a random sheet of paper and selected duplex and it scanned with great quality and no problems the first time. The software is a little bare bone, but it allowed me to easily add pages or save to various formats.
I then plugged it into my PC and setup was similar and easy, not much change in the experience. I also tried it on iOS, the app works similar to the wireless function on a PC or Mac. On iOS I had a little trouble connection via Wifi as it always assumed the connection was for internet and defaulted to another Wifi or LTE, but it eventually worked.
The greatest option for your road warriors out there is the Micro SD option. Toss in a Micro SD card (a 32GB used for testing), flip the switch the card option and it will scan directly to the card, no computer needed until you need access to the file. There are basic options on the device control panel for color, mono, pdf, jpg, 2 side or 1 side so you need no PC interaction. Obviously, there is no screen to see the results but if you are in a hurry, this option is rather priceless.
Cons:
The only negative I could think of is the lack of any kind of auto feeder. This is to be expected on a device of this size so as long as the user is aware it is not a big deal, but if you scan a lot of documents it might be a little bit of an issue. USB-C would have been a way better addition but connection over the USB 3.0 cable is fast, just requires you to carry another cable around.
Summary:
Overall a great device that is small, great looking and, reliable and works well. It is outstanding for anyone who is away from a desk or travelling often but can also be used to great effect for a home office so long as you don’t scan all day. Battery on it is outstanding, just be sure to keep the USB 3.0 cord.

Basic but stable
on February 1, 2020
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
It has been a while since I have used any tax software in the age of most things being available online through a website. Because of this, it was nice to conduct this review for the H&R Block Premium + Efile + State software. Getting directly to the point, tax season has just started and I feel the software is not yet complete as they are adding forms / interview questions as they are released. You might not want to file quickly if you have complex tax situations. If you have a simple 1040 you are probably good to go as of time of writing at the end of January.
Installation:
I installed the software on both my MacBook Pro and my Alienware desktop. I ultimately completed my taxes on the MacBook but the both versions of software for Mac and PC appeared to be fairly identical. Installation was a breeze on both platforms with your standard installation methods. I quickly received an update at time of installation and one toward the end of January. There is another expected update mid February on the Mac according to the software.
Use:
The basic interview questions are mainly straightforward. Enter your personnel info, enter your income documents, enter your mortgage info, etc. There were a few snags I noticed. I feel most of these issues come from doing my taxes early in the year but they are worth noting. -First, not all the interviews appear to be complete. For example, as of this date in late Jan, there is an interview question asking if you have held any crypto currency through the year. If you answer yes you should be directed toward an interview to fill out a Schedule D form to claim the holdings but it does not exist in the software. I reached out to the support page and it appears that it might come in the February update. If you wish to claim crypto currency now, you would have to manually fill out the form which kind of negates the purpose of having the software to simplify things.
-Next, this is not so much the fault of the software but as of time of righting, there are a lot of forms unavailable at the moment. For example, interest forms and important from the employer or bank directly since most of these agencies do not make them available until middle February.
-Last, the software does not appear to have a lot of baked in help options. Chatting with support is easy enough but chatting with a tax pro is not included with the software unless you pay another fee. There is a search feature to look up common topics but I had more success looking it up on the website instead.
Getting around the software is easy enough with tabbed formats for every section. Federal and State are both very similar and filing taxes is extremely easy with very direct questions. There is a planning tab which helps you determine your withholdings for the 2020 tax year so this might come in handy for some.
The interface is basic but useful. I noticed on my MacBook Pro 15 that the text is a little blurry, as if the designers did not plan for high DPI screens. It is not a huge deal but noticeable if you are looking for it.
Summary:
In all, the software is good. Most of the faults are not directly the fault of H&R Block but I highly advise waiting until the end of February to use this software if you have investments and cryptocurrency. It works well and is stable. I only take away points due to lack of polish. I think next year I will likely revert back to web interface tax software but if you have a need for offline use, this is a great option.

Panasonic easy-to-use video baby monitor uses the same clear and secure (non-wi-fi) long-range DECT technology found in its top-selling cordless home phone systems. DECT systems offer clear, secure and interference-free signal strength up to 1500 feet* more than the length of four football fields, and twice the range of comparable monitors. Anywhere in or outside the home you can clearly and continually keep tabs on your child. The Panasonic baby monitor includes a bright 3.5-in. color monitor and easy controls that sync to an improved wide-eyed, wall-mountable monochrome night vision camera in the baby's room. The video camera can be controlled remotely to pan, tilt and zoom the camera from the baby monitor to look in on your child anytime. Improved long-life, built-in battery charging in the monitor stores power for up to 13 hours of standby time and up to 5 hours of power for continuous use. A smart motion sensor alerts you when the baby is awake or crying. A temperature sensor alerts you if the room is above or below a range you set. When activated, sensors sound a chime, illuminate a LED on the monitor and display notifications on the monitors screen. Microphones and speakers in both video camera and baby Monitor enable 2-way talk with anyone in the room. And, you can play gentle, soothing sounds that include five types of White noise and a choice of lullabies.

Great for what it is designed for

Th Panasonic baby monitor is a pretty good bundle overall. There are lots of high end features in this little package and a few annoyances.
Unboxing:
There is not much inside this package, just the basics. You will find the camera, a wall mount, a plug for the camera and the monitor, a battery for the monitor, the monitor and some documentation.
Setup:
Setup is extremely easy, mount the camera on a flat surface or on the wall mount (requires two screws or nails), put the battery in the monitor, turn it on (or charge it), and just position the camera to your liking. It is pretty much gtg right out the box!
Use:
The product works great for what it is designed for. I used it for a couple of days and it gets great video day and night. The motorized camera is amazing since you can move it around from the monitor anywhere in the house. Night video is bright and picks things up from far away. The monitor is a little low resolution for my liking but you don’t need to connect to any apps like many modern cameras so you can essentially have an always on connection to the camera or leave video playing constantly.
Complaints:
The resolution is a little low on the camera. It is not a huge deal if you just want awareness of what is going on but you won’t be taking any pictures on this or getting any fine details.
The unit alerts you when there is movement or sound, this is good but at night time, it can get rather annoying and woke me up with any movement in the room and I had to tone it down to the lowest setting.
There is no video recording or photo ability on this unit.
Pros:
The battery on the monitor is great, it seems to never die!
The range on the monitor is outstanding, it worked anywhere in the house.
Audio is clear and the alerts (though annoying) are helpful if you are doing another activity like cooking or reading a book.

Game was not tested properly
By skullboy88 from Los Angeles, CA
First of all the reason for such a low rating is that the game is not playable. Right out the box. Now, I have been building pc's for over 10 years and have sunk hundreds of dollars into my rig to play the most demanding games. And I do. The problem is that ID software sent out a game to the public that is not finished. Google, rage graphics problems and you will find a magnitude of arcticles about poor graphics bad drivers and other issues. AMD and Nvidia have been working for a driver patch but reports from many say they do not work to fix the tearing and poor rendering . People are paying $60.00 for a pc game. Dont you think it should work right away without having to wait for a patch?

To be fair, a patch has since been release which fixes many of these PC problems including better support for video cards and settings.

Horrid Sound
By DELienz from Delaware
I had pair of Sony Headphones that I bought a few years ago for approx. $50 dollars... Sounded Amazing, but I recently ran then over with my car... Anyway bought these assuming the sound would be similar and also compensate for my only complaint with my other heardphones which was falling constantly out of my ear during workouts. Turns out these are more expensive but that sound terrible. Tried changing the setting on my IPOD and there is no overcoming the lack of bass. I am a auidiophile and I do listen to music a lot of double bass and drums so bass is something I must have in a headphone. If that's what you looking for don't buy these. I'm confident cheaper headphones with the same quality sound can be obtained so I would not recommend these to anyone...

Balanced Armature
June 28, 2012
Balanced Armature headphones are designed to sound like the original recording. Most headphones these days are "dynamic armature" which are designed kind of like a hardware equilizer where bass is usually most important. Any of these balanced armature headphones are aimed specifically at audiophiles as they repoduce very true to original sound with detailed mid ranges and highs.

An edgeless 15.6-inch UHD display lets you see intricate photo details when you view websites or downloaded media on this Lenovo Yoga convertible laptop.

Why is this computer so cheap with all these features?

Good question. The only areas I can see where they skimped out a bit are a bit in the trackpad and battery life. Everything else seems as advertised and it performs very well to match the specs. There is little to no bloatware installed. Lenovo is making some great stuff these days!

Can it read audible audiobook from amazon ?

Unless you have an app that can "cast" audio then the answer is no. Amazon is much more integrated with it's own Echo. I own both and Echo is much better for this task than the Google Home. From what I can tell, Audible apps do no throw audio to other Chromecast devices such as Google Home.

Bring the power of Google directly to your fingertips with the Google Pixel. A large 32GB of storage keep data secure, while unlimited cloud storage transfers data as needed, and it's completely automatic. The large 5-inch screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to ensure the Google Pixel remains scratch-free.

If I have T-Mobile, will this phone work with it, or is it just for Verizon?

I have tried my Verizon Pixel with my T-Mobile SIM card and it works perfect. The device is actually unlocked if you buy it outright. I had full LTE connectivity in the Seattle area on T-Mobiles network.

Is this version of Google pixel phone a unlock version and will it work in a country like Malaysia ?

I am not sure if it will work in Malaysia but I have used this Verizon Pixel with my T-Mobile SIM card. It is unlocked but ensure you have paid off the device to ensure it is not stuck to Verizon through a contract.

Get your own workout coach with the Fitbit Blaze in blue. PurePulse heart rate tracking ensures you reach optimal heart rate for maximum calories burned, and the all-day activity tracking notes every step you take, whether you're climbing stairs or running for a taxi. The Fitbit Blaze in blue even features sleep tracking and can wake you up each morning.

How does the GPS feature work?

It requires your phone to be within bluetooth distance (in your pocket). You press run, it syncs with the phone and the phone tracks your GPS distance while the fitbit tracks heart rate and steps

does it let you know if you have a call coming in and if so how far away can the phone be from the fitbit

It does let you know if you are paired via bluetooth. As you are using bluetooth, you get the usual limitation of 30 feet or so from your phone.

How do you tell how many steps that you have

Two ways you can tap until you see steps displayed or you can look at the ring around the time display. The ring is a graphical version of how many steps you have until your goal.
