This architectural speaker features a paintable aluminum grille that provides rust protection when mounted in moisture-prone areas, such as bathrooms, kitchens and saunas. The 1" dome tweeter distributes smooth, clear sound over a wide area.

Excellent surround in ceiling!

Always a fan of Klipsch, bought and installed these and have been VERY happy with the results! Replaced my Klipsch RSX-4 speakers (which were excellent) for a lower profile setup. Installation was easy, thanks to the design and template that comes in the package. Quality is excellent and the profile is quite discreet. For surround speakers, these actually have some notable bass response and general power. Very happy!
What's great about it: Easy install, GREAT performance!
What's not so great: No flaws to report.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Crashes W7/32

From what little I've been able to play the game, it looks amazing! Too bad it crashes constantly, Despite endless updates and mods to my system, I have yet to be able to play the game without constant cold reboots. I'm pretty savvy with hardware and even when underclocking my GTX570 I'm only able to get about 3 minutes of campaign play.
What's great about it: Graphics, gameplay
What's not so great: CRASHING

Underpowered

Sound quality is OK but simply lacks power. I didn't want to shake my walls, just add a little bass to the bottom end of a 2-channel setup. Given the size, Polk should have applied a more substantial amp to drive it. Ended up returning it - I think most would be happier with the 8" 300 Watt version if they are looking to enhance an MP3 or HT arrangement.
What's great about it: 10" speaker
What's not so great: Underpowered

The PSW111 Powered Subwoofer delivers powerful, accurate and musical bass from a shockingly small enclosure. Small enough to hide behind (or in) furniture or tuck into a corner, the PSW111 easily disappears from view. But its big bass output will never let you forget that it's there, delivering all the visceral gut rumble for your favorite action movies as well as tight, accurate bass precision for your music. The PSW111 represents a continuing refinement of the highly regarded PSW Series and a great introduction to visceral home theater bass performance. Its compact design is the perfect complement to Polk RM Series and SurroundBar loudspeakers.

OK, for the money

This sub is pretty darned good but I think it best used in a smaller environment. Kind of seemed underpowered, considering the rating, but I was using it to add only lower end to a 2-channel system in a big room. For the price I think it would make most people happy but remember - smaller sub speaker cannot move enough air to address lower frequencies. I think it must have been designed for use as a mid-frequency range fill and NOT exclusively at the lower point of the crossover.
What's great about it: small
What's not so great: frequency range
