Best buy is this how the store got its name?

I bought the washer and dryer, you can read my washer review. Both Machines are excellent. I have had the Dryer for 3 months now and have done about 34 loads. Works great quiet effcient and very cost effective. When I divorced my ex wife I moved to an apt. so I had to pay for my wash and drye. Now every time I do a load of wash I put the money away that I would have spent doing my wash at the apt. I figure by the time these two machines wear out that I a can buy two new ones and maybe one of those 70 inch TV's LOL.
What's great about it: Every thing
What's not so great: Didn't come with a bag of money inside.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best buy is that how the store got it's name?

This is truly a best buy for any type of money, I bought the washer and the companion dryer, The washer I will do seperately from dryer however they both are excellent. I have owned this washer for 3 month, recently moved and needed a new washer and dryer. I have done appx. 34 loads with this washer and it works great. I recommend you follow the normal rules of useing any washing machine and not overload it and wipe it out when your done. Should last longer than the "Lady" brand I bought my exwife that cost me as small fortune and didnt last two years. I have never found a quiet washer in my life they all make a certain amount of noise. However this machine does not make any more noise than the high priced brands, and believe me I have owned some, and probably a lot less.
A buzzer would be nice but for the price I will use an egg timer and have the best quality and the best buy. You ever get rid of this brand, Yes I know Inglis is Canadian Whirlpool, I will be terribly disappointed and probably put a curse on you lol.

I installed this in an HP M2N68-LA (Narra3) Motherboard, followed the instructions. Yes I've done this a million times but I still read the instructions. No fuss installation. Because the motherboard is over four years old the (Bios) and Software that give the Vista rateing, rates it As Unknown AMD Model running at 3.2 Ghz. Is a very nice upgrade and I can notice the increase in speed. The fan on the Stock fan that came with it works great and is extremely quiet. The warranty according to the lititure is void if you use another fan,so I would recommend useing it since it is quiet. The warranty by the way is three years thru AMD. To me that is very impressive. Researched this CPU for Three weeks before makeing the decision. Read everything I could wether this would work with this motherboard contacted AMD and they were extremely helpful saying all AMD socket three processors are backwards compatible as long as it is an Amd+2 socket and the wattage is correct. According to the Brochure there are a number of sockets that it is compatible with so do your research. Love Best buy and Thanks for another good product. By the way upgraded from an AMD 9550 95 Wt.
What's great about it: BestBuy and AMD Why Say More
What's not so great: No one will see it inside my computer lol

This is a great product. If you haven't noticed I have several posts on here, building a new P.C. requires spending time at Best Buy. First only took less than five minutes to install the drive. Some where around 1 hour for the Fantastic, and I mean that , software to clone my old drive on to the new one. Really works well and once you have done the click next thing install is all automatic. The picture in the book and the instructions are 100% accurate. Went with Seagate after reading all the reviews on every website I could find on every drive I could find. Whisper quiet,easy install,great price. It seems that any drive over 1tb has a high failure rate. Why did i go with Seagate? Well I just used my years of experieance, built computers now for about 27 years, and seemed to have better luck with Seagate. Western digital has improved greatly and the smaller drive I cloned from was WD. Seagate has a lousy attitude toward returns and rma, whereas WD is much more customer orientated. Now your asking why, well if this one fails I will go with WD and Seagate will lose a customer for life. Why because they own Maxtor, Hitachi, and I think Samsung not sure about them, who knows what else now. So this is a test for all my bro's and sisters out there in Best Buy land. Oh one thing I forgot the jumper is not on the drive and is in an very small plastic package. I didnt use it but its very easy to lose if your not looking for it. Thanks Best Buy Another good Product So Far. The only thing every one should be aware of is that Seagate makes returning thier product about as difficult as they can. Where as Western digital is customer orientated, read all the reviews then flip a coin. If this does fail WD will be my next try. Seagate was first because of the price and the fact most reviews said it wasquiet to start with. If its quiet its probably not chewing up the disks, We will see.
What's great about it: Price, quiet, capacity,speed is awesome. best software.
What's not so great: Seagate Warranty and Return policy, seems like if they make it difficult enough you will forget about RMAing the Product

I researched this powersupply thourghly before I bought it. The company that actually manufactures this makes them for other high quality Named Power supplys. Spec's are awesome. All cables are snug fitting in power supply. Was bought so I could power higher end Nvidia Video cards. comes with a wide range of cables and is currently sitting in a case where I could mount the PSU in the bottom of the case which makes a very nice build. Extremely quite. Exhaust fan sends out a nice volume of air. I thought my old power supply was quiet but this one I had to check to make sure the fan was turning. If you respect the cableing and not abuse it I see no problems at all the only reason I mention this is at other sites they said the connectors were cheap. Far and I mean Far from that. They provide a rock solid connection and if you squeeze the locks on the connectors properly to install I see no problems at all. Even thought this is a major jump in power for me 350w to 750, I actually think I will save money cause this is a 80plus Bronze unit with Silver spec's . You Can't go wrong with this PSU unless you install things like King Kong wrecks a village LOL. Only strange thing about this power supply is that when I'm done using my computer and after normal shut down, I turn the surge protector off, when I turn on the surge protector again I do not have to hit the button on the case to turn on. Oh and you will love the fact the fan stays on about 30 sec after shut down to cool the PSU so this should make the PSU last longer, besides the fact it uses high end quality Caps and Heat sinks.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: I wish that it was free LOL

Great buy Love it_first impression will update

I bought this because the one I really wanted has been discontinued at best buy (3300). This had all the same specs but is on sale at $20.00 more, however its a steal. I have Charter and followed the directions for hook up and it was recognized right away. The wireless set up was done with the CD. Now one thing I wish is that they would have three set up catergories, novice,intermediate, expert. then novice should not have any thing that would confuse anyone that has no idea of what all these strange words mean lol. The only problem i really had was changing the admin name and password. I dont know even now if i did it right but it appears that i did so i guess its ok. Love the connectivity and speed. My desktop appears to run faster. I will benchmark it later. I have had no disconnects and If i do i will change the lower Mhz to a higher one. All in all I had it up and running in about 25 minutes and that is because i tried to be double sure what i was doing even though the CD installation is a breeze.
What's great about it: Everything so far/with that minor exception
What's not so great: would like a seperate catergory on CD that tells how toch password and admin easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What kind of Computer should I get
I am a game addict and my computer is so old I cant keep up with on-line gaming anymore. what should I get What equipment would I buy
Ok this is my favorite. I spent a year reasearching the best gaming computers you could buy and you know what i found out? lol Hp makes paviliaons that will out run the Ipower/ and the other gaming computers for less than half the price and if you have the amd quad core chips you will never ever be sorry. I saved a ton of money by buying an hp with the same specs. I wanted over all the custom game machines inclueding Alienware. Have Had it Two Years now and it still rocks.

DDR2 vs DDR3
When looking for a laptop for my son for college I was told that a laptop with 3G DDR3 memory was the same as one with 4G DDR2 memory . Is this correct?
actually no DDr3 memory is much superior memory and will be around a little longer than ddr2. will it work well. Yes is it as good no. its like saying I have a volkswagen beatle and a vette will they both go.

Best answer Geek squad. If your comfortable with the opening of the case make sure the cables a correctly seated. if that doesnt work and youve never built a computer or repaired one i would recommend the geek squad.

Well The amds are much more stable and for gaming much more reliable. However I will relate to you that my friend spent three times the amount that i did and had three times the amount of trouble going with the Intel chip(Blue screens etc.) My Quad Core rocks in wow. Also watch the new Six core amds the prices are right and they should even be better than the quads.

best computer for studies in mechanical engineering?
I going to college to study mechanical enginneering and i need a new computer, but i don't know what is the best for me and will support the degree throws at me.
First of all you need a very good Video Card and a very large monitor Then a really good printer. You need something with Lots of ram and lots of Harddrive space, Much of the information and what you do you will carry to your next six computers. HP Makes some of the finest machines around and if I were you I would get the AMD chip processor 4core or up the more the better lol. and thats not even the start then you need a very very good laptop with at least a 15inch screen or close to that. Check out Hp youll like it. By the way if Best buy doesnt carry it you can have one custom made by hp and it wont cost you any more than it would cost you in the store however check the store first you might be surprised how well you can do., Your definitely not in acer, gateway or even dell territory now you want something that can and will be supported. oh and buy a backup drive you will be happy you did and if you buy HP you can get the Pavilion with the hp pocket drive bay one button back up how easy is that.

Always, Always go with as much as you can afford when it comes to memory and hard drive space and dont forget part of speed is your video so my recommendation buy HP.

How do I transfer files from an old computer to my new one?
you can do it in about a millon ways, however if you are afraid to tackle it your self the best way is to talk to the geek squad price is reasonable and fast. If you want to do it your self well you could back it up to any number of drives and then put it on the new machine. In fact you can get software to do it. They also have cables that allow you to do it but in the long run its cheaper to have the geeks do it.

I'm interested in buying a Acer netbook, but my local craigslists got a ton of them for sale, are they just not as good like HP or Dell? I just wonder why people wants to get rid of them so soon, if you own a Acer netbook I like to hear from you, a little help, thank you.
Fist of all Buy either an HP or Toshiba on sell they are about the same price and you will be much happier. They might even have it in the Best buy outlet store.
