This is not my first Chromebook, but in fact one that I purchased for a family member who is starting their own business. I am helping them build their technology stack on Google Apps for Business and subsequent web/cloud-based storage and applications for simplicity and included backup/sync functionality if local data loss was to occur.
This family member isn't very high-tech and wanted a very simple user experience and a zero-config/management set up so ChromeOS was perfect.
This Acer Chromebook will no doubt be one of the best Chromebooks of 2016! Amazing WiFi range and 802.11AC compatibility. Build quality (all aluminum chassis and body) is superb. I evaluate $2500 Ultrabooks at work that could learn from Acer on this one. Dell used to be my go-to but I'm going to have to give Acer a second look if they keep making machines like this. The keyboard has perfect tactile response and the touchpad is excellent for this price bracket. No backlot keyboard would be my only wish list item to make this thing a perfect user experience.
My only other complaint, one common to Chromebooks and other value PCs is the AC adapter type. Such a small, skinny DC jack that it looks like it'll break off inside the machine without much force. At any price point, a more robust power cord connector would have been easy and given some peace of mind. This seems like an unnecessary cut.
Back to the positives (so many more than the two annoying negatives that are more about the segment and are really picky). The screen: EXCELLENT! - This thing is better than most full-price business laptops when it comes to screen contrast, clarity, brightness and resolution. It's not a touchscreen but in a Chromebook those are still considered luxury items. It has a wonderful matte anti-glare finish but does not get washed out by it. Unlike most matte displays the black point is deep and the contrast is very even across the display. This is surely a quality IPS panel and not one of those value TN displays with funky backlighting and uneven color/contrast.
Finally, this thing is fast and efficient. I ran for almost 4 hours unplugged last night doing all of the Google Apps, Wave accounting, and Google Cloud Print setup and teaching my excited relative about all the bells and whistles that took very little retraining of his current computer skills. We only used 17% of our fully charged battery. This thing will definitely go all day and then some. We're talking an easy 10-12 hours of daily use and what seems like very good LiPo chemistry as this is not a heavy laptop so it's not due to a huge heavy battery inside.
All in all I'll be telling everyone about this thing. This will either be 2016s top Chromebook, or I'm excited to see what beats it!!

How much are the cartridges and if you don’t print more than 3 or 4 times a month do they dry out and need replaced?
Your best bet with the newer HP models that support it, is to go with the Instant Ink subscription - That way you're covered on ink as long as you're a subscriber and you're going to get your value out of the cartridges even if you don't print a lot.
The current (estimated) price of the #67 cartridges are as follows - These are for standard capacity, not XL, and not XXL like you get with Instant Ink:
Black: $16
Tri-color: $17
Total, that's $33 per set. If you subscribe to Instant Ink, which is only $2.99 for 1 month and 50 printed pages, you're only going to spend $36/year. With this program, if your ink dries out from non-use, they send you fresh cartridges. You're literally guaranteeing yourself at-the-ready ink for your printer for just a few dollars more than ONE set of cartridges cost. Will this printer connect to a Chromebook?
My Google Pixelbook Go and Samsung Galaxy Chromebooks saw this as an available printer on the WiFi Network. I was able to print basic documents no problem. I did not attempt to scan with it via the Web interface for scanning, and I did not attempt any advanced photo printing as those require software that isn't made for ChromeOS.

I have a hp 4500 now. how does this 4155 compare to the one I presently have
There are several models with the designation "4500" - If your printer still works and you're looking to upgrade, its best not to get hung up on model numbers and shop for the features you're looking for. If you current model meets your needs, I don't think this will be an upgrade by any stretch.

Is this compatible with windows 10?
Absolutely. I tested it with several Windows 10 and macOS devices, as well as a few iPads and iPhones - All could print and scan with it when properly set up!

is this printer compatible with a hp envy x360
Yes! The ENVY line of laptops/2-in-1 convertibles are just Windows 10 devices, so they work great with all modern HP printers - There is an ENVY line of printers as well that are HP's higher-end line for home use, but there's no need to match them up, as ENVY is just a feature-level statement. You should have no trouble getting this to work with Windows 10 on your ENVY x360 laptop.

will this printer be compatible and be recognized by the new Microsoft Edge? New Edge does not recognize my current HP 1112 printer.
Microsoft Edge doesn't dictate what printers it uses. Windows 10 does. This printer worked fine in my evaluation while using Windows 10 (Spring 2020 update) with the new Microsoft Edge. No issues. I can't speak to your previous device, but I would question whether it is compatible with Windows 10 at all.

I am having a difficult time syncing my two headphones together. I can only use one side at a time, is this how they work or can I fix this issue?
I experienced the same problem.Seems to be quality issues with the "true wireless" setup. Cheaper headphones like these tend to have stereo/sync issues.
The best thing I can advise is to put them both into the charging case and fully charge the set. Then put them both into your ears before connecting your device.
