Good features, nice picture, big design flaw

Bought this to replace a 720p Panasonic Plasma in the bedroom. Heard good things about Sony TV's. I liked that it has WIFI and Netflix but disappointed no Amazon Prime access. When I mounted my existing wall mount to the back of the TV it completely blocks access to the main HDMI input 1 which is the ARC input. Options were to buy another TV, buy another design of wall mount or I chose the 3rd option and used a hacksaw to cut out an access notch. My mount is a Roswell and seems universal. Take a look at the back if you plan to wall mount, the screws line up directly with the HDMI 1 port. Not very good planning on Sony's part.

Purchased as a Christmas gift in December 2013. The lid broke in March 2014. Contacted Contigo for their "Lifetime Guarantee" and they simply said it is not covered?? The lid separated into 2 pieces due to cheap Chinese manufacturing process. It just came apart and that is not covered under a "Lifetime Guarantee" . I have other coffee mugs that are 10 years old that cost 1/4 of the amount. Going back to those!

Can't beat it for the price!

I know my way around computers and when it came time to buy a new one I started researching everything from building my own to some of the more boutique vendors and then the mainstream vendors. This was the best bang for the buck anywhere. If your not a gamer, you don't need an I7, the I5 is plently fast and has turbo boost plus you are getting 8 GB of memory! The hard drive is huge, the Blue Ray drive is a $150 option on most big vendor configurations and the graphics card is decent. On Windows, the processor scores a 7.4, the memory a 7.6, the graphics a 6.8 and the hard drive a 5.9. Most hard drives score 5.9, even the 7200 RPM models.
This machine is super quiet, you don't hear it running at all unless there is a disc in the blue ray drive. It looks great and has 7 USB ports! I plan to add a USB 3.0 card on the back since there are only 4 USB ports on the back and I need more plus I want the faster speed. The inside is clean with lots of room for upgrades. Easy to add another drive or 2 plus expansion cards.
The keyboard is nice and so is the mouse.

What's great about it: Quiet, fast, blue ray, large memory, Intel I5, large drive, not expensive.
What's not so great: USB 2.0, blue ray drive noisy like most.
I would recommend this to a friend!
