Sweeps the competion under a rug.

Let me start off by saying that I currently own two high end botvacs that do a superb job in the cleaning of my 1756 square foot home. Either one of my robots are more than capable to cleaning my entire home on a single battery charge, so I was anxious to see what the Samsung Powerbot was capable of.
The look of the Samsung Powerbot R7075 is somewhat different looking than my other botvacs. Perhaps futuristic is the word that I'm looking for. What will separate any botvac from the field of competition is how well it cleans (or the lack thereof).
What the Samsung Powerbot had over my other 2 botvacs, was the fact that you can select the level of the suction through use of the supplied remote control, and its superior cleaning pattern. The capability of increasing the suction on demand, is no doubt a nice option to have especially in the more dirty areas of ones home. When docked at the docking station, the first charge took nearly 3 hours. The Samsung Powerbot also has a dustbin that is "clear" color, which translates into you being able to provide a visual peek at the compartment while its in use rather than stopping the bot in the middle of a cleaning cycle. The Samsung Powerbot has an automatic feature that applies more suction when it senses that the unit is in a "corner". Corners are usually problematic, as most botvacs leave dirt in those hard to reach areas. I have to admit, that the Samsung Powerbot proved to be highly efficient and tended to pick up more "corner debris" than I was accustomed to. Nice corner cleaning.
My other botvacs, were marketed with virtual room barriers. Sort of a miniature looking lighthouse (a couple inches tall), which projects an invisible beam that precludes your botvac from passing a particular point of your room. The Samsung Powerbot is marketed with a thin roll of magnetic tape which serves the same purpose as room barriers, but I never utilized it. Navigation of the Samsung Powerbot was truly excellent, as I have a sunken living room and the bot never once fell over the edge. I did not have to utilize the magnetic tape in order to preclude the botvac from going over the edge. When the Powerbot approached the step just in front of my sunken living room, it responded by stopping and changing direction whereby avoiding a tumble over the edge of the step.
One thing I did find highly interesting was the fact that if your bed has a dust ruffle (gentlemen, kindly ask your wives what this is), the bot would not pass underneath it. In my testing, the dust ruffle prevented the Powerbot from passing underneath my bed.
The Samsung Powerbot has a methodical way in which it cleans your room/s. It does not randomly operate, rather it cleans in straight lines. What this translates into, is a smarter cleaning pattern in your home, and more battery life. Fantastic!
Battery of this unit is only warranted for 6 months. I found that most of the competition offered at least a 1 year warranty. A few words about the Samsung Smartthings app. After repeated tries, I was unsuccessful in setting up the app and I finally gave up on it. For informational purposes, I have an iPhone 7 plus that is fully up to date. I did read reviews on the internet regarding the app, which in all honesty were not very positive. You very well may be able to use this app, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
The overall cleaning of the Powerbot was outstanding! Very thorough, super methodical, and left nothing to chance. The noise level of the Powerbot as compared to my other bots was definitely quieter. I had no problem listening to my TV and having conversations while the Powerbot was in use. The Samsung is truly a winner. For most consumers the Samsung Powerbot will get the job done and make you happy. Navigation is top-of-the-line and corner cleaning doesn't get any better. Highly recommended.

RYLO Smothers the Competition.

The Rylo is a sweet little camera and video package, that easily fits into your palm, that is marketed with its own selfie stick. The selfie stick enables you to utilize your Rylo with the Everyday Case (included) without getting your fingers into your shots/videos. It comes with a 16 GIG Micro SD card which is expandable.
The Rylo is simple to use as the unit comes with two buttons and is very simple to use. One turns on the camera and starts and stops recording, the other switches between still and video modes. The camera has a solid feel, part of which is due to its solid aluminum frame construction. It should be mentioned that you can not view your videos or camera pictures until such time that you connect your device to your phone. Also, there is no view-finder on the Rylo.
I found that using the Rylo in outdoor environments produced the best results. Camera use in low light conditions did not produce what I call quality results. For those consumers that understand backlit photos, the Rylo underexposes your subject matter when the background light is brighter than your subject.
The lenses protrude outwards on both sides or the camera, and I found it cumbersome to utilize the Rylo without touching the lenses. I happen to be a camera fanatic, and one of my pet peeves is not touching my lenses. Positioning the Rylo in a way as to not touch the lenses was difficult to do unless you utilize the Everyday Case.
A waterproof case is not included with the Rylo. I would have liked to see this as part of the standard package. A quick word concerning image stabilization. GREAT. Image stabilization is great when especially for those consumers who are going to do any videos while bike riding, skateboarding, walking or just plain being active. It is also super good for those consumers who tend to have shaky hands.
The Rylo is a fun little camera/video machine. It's lots of fun to use, and will not weight you down, as the camera is so very light. The Rylo is on my recommended list. Have fun.

For some time, I was thinking about upgrading my Sony 60 inch TV with a soundbar. Enter, the Sony HT-X9000F. Overall impression: AWESOME. This soundbar was a snap to hook-up. Super easy installation and set up instructions. Comprehensive owners manual and a start up guide written in plain English, that will get you up and running in a few short minutes.
If your smart TV has an HDMI ARC input jack your all set. No other cables are needed. If you set does not have this jack, you will need to purchase an Optical Digital Cable in order to utilize this product. Once connected you just fire up the TV and it works. The paring (connection) to the Subwoofer was automatic. NICE!
Sound quality you may ask. Fasten your seat belts, as you will experience some sweet sounding surroundsound,. Sound immerses you from every direction. The soundbar has several sound mode settings for your listening pleasure, such as cinema, music, game, news, sports, and of course the standard setting. The sound is clean and crisp. You will have fun trying each setting and you will be able to quickly decide on your favorite one.
I purposely did not bore you with specifications of the soundbar, as I believe that once you hear and immerse yourself with the awesome sound of the Sony soundbar you'll be hooked. This product is definitely on my highly recommended list. Amazing.

Good Gaming Laptop for the budget minded

For those consumers who are looking for a budget minded, mid range gaming laptop, Acer is definitely in the race. This unit is marketed with a 256 GB SSD (Solid State Drive), but if you have a large collection of video games you may wish to swap out your SSD and install something a bit larger if you wish to download them onto your drive.
For the average gamer, the Nitro 5 specifications should be more than enough to satisfy your gaming pleasures. If you are a hardcore gamer, this model laptop may not be powerful enough to enable a 4K resolution during game play, but please consider that you would have to spend significantly more money to achieve this.
The Acer Nitro, has a keyboard that is backlit which is controlled (either on or off), by simultaneously pressing the F9 key and the Fn Key. You are unable to customize the brightness of your keyboard. When I tested this unit, I was sitting in my living room (which has lots of natural light pouring in through the windows) I found it a little difficult to read and distinguish the lettering on the keys (especially on the top row) when the backlight was in the off position. I would imagine this is because the color of the keyboard is black and the backlighting for the keys are red. The overall fee of the keyboard was nice, not to spongy and not to hard. I have uploaded several photographs so that you can see exactly how the "lit" keyboard lettering appears. There are two photographs of the lit keyboard, and one that shows the appearance of the keyboard in natural lighting.
The unit comes with a Webcam. so that you can Skype friends and family. The screen on the unit is matt (which tends to hide fingerprints as well as cuts down on glare), and the color definition is quite good and produces superior colors which are vivid. The built in speakers face downward, which for me was a little surprising. Sound production is usually hampered when not directly "top" mounted on a laptop. That being said, the overall sound was adequate and not collosal. If you enjoy concert level decibels, you would probably have to invest in a pair of external speakers.
The Acer Nitro is a good gaming computer for the money. It comes with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 TI. Definitely not the "ultimate" with regards to specifications, but laptops fitted with a GTX 1070 or 1080 would perhaps would make the ultimate gamers a bit more happy with enhanced capabilities.
Boot up time is amazingly fast, as this is my first experience with a solid state drive. The launching and opening of programs literally happens in a blink of an eye. You will immediately notice how fast this computer is.
In my opinion, the Acer Nitro is generally a good gaming machine for its price. If you don't mind sacrificing some graphics and some additional frames per second during game play, this unit is for you. If you are in the category of an average gamer (which I think fits most consumers), this laptop is for you. This unit makes my recommendation list and is sure to please the average gamers out there. Hope you enjoy you new device, as much as I am. Game on!

WOW is my overall impression of the Experia XZ2 Compact phone. Super smooth, super quick and awesome camera. I will not bore you with the phones specifications, but I will tell you that you will be very happy with a purchase like this. Let me start off by saying that the phones camera is stupendous. Pure amazement on the colors, and the sharpness. I have 3 other brands of phones, one of which is a high end phone. Side by side comparisons of the photographs taken with all 3 phones is a no brainer. Sony easily won hands down. Phone reception and call clarity is great. Application launches were super quick with no bog down. One really cool feature of this phone is called "Casting". You can project one of your saved photos directly onto your smart TV. How very cool is that? I'll bet that the first time your "cast" a photo onto your TV you will take your audience by surprise. In my case there was no set up for this feature to be used. NICE. One other thing that I would like to mention, is that I read some reviewers complained of a cheap feel specifically mentioning the back of the phone. I did not find this to be the case at all. My main concern is that a phone works well, has a great camera and is fast. This is certainly the case with the Sony phone. I love this phone. Buy one.

Good Antenna

Let me start off by saying that my household does not have cable TV and we rely solely on an antenna to pull in and view our local television stations. I live in a major area that is unobstructed and has no large buildings and I do not reside in a rural area. You should also know that I am within a recommended zip code for this particular product. You should check your zip code on the company website to see if this product will work in your particular area of the country. I was anticipating and hoping that the Mohu Beam Premium would provide me with true Omni-Directional reception, but I did not always find that to be true. I found that moving the antenna to different areas of my home provided better reception on certain channels. Therefore, movement of this antenna in order to view certain channels clearly was a necessity for me, but may not be the case for you. I have to admit that when regular vehicle traffic (cars) passes directly in front of my home, certain channel reception was either blocked or the reception of that channel momentarily stopped or faded out. This fade out did not occur on all channels, rather it occurred on 2 of them. If you are wondering if I'm using an "old" TV, the answer is no. The antenna is being used on a 55 inch smart TV that is barley 2 months old. I'm honestly wondering if any external antenna will go unaffected by vehicular traffic. The Mohu antenna is my 3rd different antenna (two others are made by a differing companies) which offers no better reception than much cheaper alternatives than I currently use on my other TV's. The Mohu brings in amazing picture quality coupled with stunning colors on all channels. All in all, the Mohu pulls in 77 channels and does exactly what it is advertised to do. I can not fault the antenna for reception problems that vehicles are causing.

I love these headphones!
First impression—they are so sleek. I got the black and I love it!
I'm no audiophile by any means but I am a huge music fan. The sound on these is phenomenal. They have more base as well as depth in general than any headphones I've ever owned. I've been hearing dimensions in my music that I never knew existed until I used these headphones!
The noise canceling is fantastic. I used them in a coffee shop, and I couldn’t hear a thing going on around me. The cups are secure around my ears. The noise canceling is automatically done by the headphones by analyzing ambient nose, which is a very nice feature. The max volume on these is loud. Turned all the way down, these are still very loud!
They are super comfortable on my head and very light. I can wear them for hours with no headaches (unlike many other headphones I’ve had in the past).
Connecting via bluetooth is also very useful since I can go cordless when using them. I might consider using them as workout headphones. I had no problem pairing these with both my iPhone 6s and my 2017 MacBook Pro.
These things charge fast! 10 minutes of charge provides an hour of playback. Also, these fold up really nicely. I just wish these came with a case to protect them.
Overall, an amazing set of headphones! From now on, I will be using these headphones to watch all of my videos and listen to my music.

Home cinema at its best

I am very impressed with the Epson Home Cinema 2100 as it was up and running in seconds, straight out of the box. Just plug in the HDMI cable, connect and turn the power on, and it was projecting.
It is easy to make adjustments, as there are two HDMI inputs, one VGA input, one USB input which allows and makes it perfect for home theater use. The fan is relatively quiet and was not bothersome.
The images are sharp, crisp, and beautiful. It displays the full color range nicely with good resolution. You can see all of the fine details in the images. Since I own an Epson EX5260, I did a side-by-side comparison. The image was crisper and I thought it was better overall (though larger, so the EX5260 is probably better if you'll be toting it around). It displayed well even in daytime in a room with plenty of ambient light.
In a pinch you could rely on the built-in speaker, though for a movie, external speakers are recommended.
Overall, a terrific home theater projector.

SimpliSafe is a complete home security system in a box. The unit is marketed with 4 window/door monitors, 1 base station, 1 wireless keypad, and 1 motion sensor. System set up takes a few short minutes. No need to drill holes into your walls which is a blessing in disguise.
So you may be wondering if the SimpliSafe alarm system is right for you? Keep reading and I will help you become an educated consumer.
The SimpliSafe system will offer protection if your power goes out, as it will keep monitoring your home for an additional 24 hours. For those consumers that have pets you need not worry about false alarms. The unit has a motion sensor which dectects "heat signatures" of humans and not your pets. Pets will not set off false alarms, which means that your dogs and cats can roam freely around your home. We all know that animal or pet false alarms become a deal breaker if your home alarm system is unable to correctly make this distinction. You can also accessorize your Simplisafe with environmental sensors such as water, fire, carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.
If this is your first venture into the market for a home alarm system, it is very important that you know that there are other home alarms that offer both indoor and outdoor cameras with their products, as well as mobile access via your home internet/smart phones. Having smart phone/mobile access means that you can activate your home cameras (both inside and out), to immediately see what's going on in your home. They also record a film clip of an intruder should there be an activation. The best news, is that there is no need to pay a monthly home monitoring fee on some of the other home monitoring systems.
One of the great options of this unit is that you the consumer have the option to choose professional monitoring. There are 2 types of professional monitoring services which are available (for a fee), i.e. the Standard or Interactive Plans. You can also use the system without professional monitoring, but there are drawbacks. Remember, you don't have access to the Simplisafe mobile app without a subscription to Interactive monitoring. Without a monitoring plan, you do not have access to any texts, email messages, or the online command center.
In my opinion there is need for improvement with regards to having mobile access even if you self monitor. This would give you the option of monitoring while vacationing or while your shopping at your local supermarket. Having the option to add an outdoor camera to your system would also be a nice option.
In closing, if you are looking for a decent home alarm monitoring system, the Simplisafe system coupled with a monitoring option is a great choice. Your residence will be protected by a 24 hour a day monitoring service and gives you that safe feeling. The Simplisafe system is a no brainer.

Decent HeadPhones

Let me start off by saying that the Senheiser RS 185 are wireless headphones which does not employ Bluetooth technology, therefore they must be used inside the confines of your home in conjunction with its supplied "dock".
In the short run, these headphones were comfortable to wear. For longer usage I felt "hot and sweaty" and they felt tight when used for viewing a long movie. They are not meant to be noise cancelling and if you have children, or people mulling around your home engaged in conversation these are not for you. You may very well hear background noises and be distracted.
For me, headphone controls were cumbersome to use/find when they were on-top your head. Many times I had to remove the set to adjust a control which was somewhat annoying.
Sound quality was adequate, but the bass was a little on the short side. This is not a deal-breaker, but I would recommend listening to "static-displays" of differing brands in an effort to compare models and make an informed choice.
On the whole the Senheiser is a fairly decent set of headphones which worked as advertised. I encountered no glitches.

Purchased this lens about 18 months ago for my Nikon D7000. Lens is very fast with focusing, and takes great shots. It has never disappointed me. Great for wildlife, zoos, everglades, sports events, etc. Buy it!

The Acer Tablet is an absolute delight. This is my fist experience with a tablet and what a nice surprise. My whole family doesn't want to put it down! The processor is fast, doesn't get hot even after extended periods of use and does most everything my home computer does. The tablet keyboard is very responsive and has a great feel to it. So far battery life has been amazing. Lots of use with SKYPE, emails, and internet browsing and battery life indicates plenty of charge. Having a great battery life will make you very happy. The tablet is very lightweight and has a great color display. The Acer tablet is very simple to operate, which is another plus. I am totally satisfied and very happy to own this product. This is an overall great tablet. Buy one.

Not so dynamite

I have to honestly put some updates to my review of this item. One or two days after the posting of my review this tablet become inoperable. Acer customer service had me factory reset this tablet. That option did not solve the problem. I had to ship this tablet back to Acer for repair. Tablet was received back from repair and the tablet once again is is need of repair after 6 days of use. Tablet has a sluggish response time, does not respond to Google search normally, stumbles when switching programs, and the list goes on. Asked Acer to replace this detective unit, as their customer service wants me to send it in for repairs once again! This unit has no reliability and consumers should be very careful. What an inconvenience as this tablet has less than three weeks use on it and now needs another repair. My five star rating of this unit should be changed to one star. The only positive for this tablet is battery life. I am very, very disappointed with this unit.

Our home is a coffee drinkers paradise, so the receipt of the DeLonghi was highly anticipated and welcomed. This household consumes at least 16 cups of coffee per day, which does not include the consumption of Cuban Coffee (Turkish/Greek Coffee as others call it) which is currently brewed through non-conventional means. What is meant by that is that Cuban/Turkish/Greek Coffee is not made with a specialty "coffee maker".
The DeLonghi is designed for the brewing of a variety of coffee-based beverages such as American Coffee, Espresso, Cappuccino, Lattes, Hot Chocolate, as well as Cuban/Turkish and Greek coffees. It's cappuccino system easily prepares perfectly frothed coffee, and its 24-hour programmable timer lets you make up to 10 cups of your favorite brew on your personalized schedule. Great news for those users that like the option of using and brewing specialized coffees with ESE pods, as this machines allows for the use of them.
The DeLonghi has a quite a few niceties (some of which I will mention here, and others later on in my review), such as auto shut-off which promotes safe operation. This feature will turn your machine off after 2 hours. The unit has water filtration which helps you achieve that perfect cup of coffee. Also standard with this unit is a cup warmer. NICE touch!
This unit has a removable water tank which allows for easy refilling for when making Espresso, Cappuccino, Cuban, and Greek/Turkish coffee. Just detach the water tank and fill it underneath your kitchen sink faucet. YES! It should be noted the the drip coffee maker has a separate water supply which is not removable. This means that you have to fill the water tank by adding water via a pull out assembly that harbors that coffee filter housing. Noteworthy is the fact that the DeLonghi does not have that "plastic smell " which is almost always present in new coffee makers. Thank Goodness! A word concerning the coffee filter. The unit comes with a permanent metal mesh filter, meaning that you can throw out your paper filters! No more fumbling at 6:00 am trying to separate a paper coffee filter from that multi-pack! There is a removable drip tray keeps your counter tops nice and clean.The drip tray has a hidden "float" and when the water level get too high, the "tip" of the float sticks out through the grill which alerts you to spill out the excess water. This is very cool. This unit also comes with a cup warming surface located on-top of the machine. This is real nice, as many coffee drinkers are located in cold climates and the extra hand warmth feels nice.

This is a must, as your Espresso and Cappuccinos are brewed under pressure. You certainly don't want a loose fit when brewing your favorites. A word about brewing American Coffee. The DeLonghi has a setting 1- 4 cups which allows for the slow brewing of your coffee. This setting allows the water to slowly be dripped onto the coffee grounds making for stronger coffee. If you have never had a unit with this option, you are in for a treat as they really work. I am not going to provide a review as to the taste of the coffee, lattes, etc as every ones taste is personal. The DeLonghi worked as advertised, and there are no complaints here. Enjoy your coffee.

I would like to add a footnote to my review, as I originally stated that I was not going to comment on the taste of the brewed coffee. I really feel that it would be a disservice if I didn't comment on the DeLonghi's cappuccinos. My entire family is now so hooked on cappuccinos. The frothiness, the creaminess, and the overall flavor is absolutely amazing (even without the milk). Much better than store bought! DeLonghi has done a great job with this machine. So very happy to own this unit. Thanks.

If you choose to activate today with the Google Pixel 4a can you keep your old phone number? Do you have to switch SIM cards?
As far as I know, keeping your present phone number is dependent on your phone carrier. You can always call you new carrier and specifically ask them if you can keep your present cell phone number. Each phone carrier network requires a specific Sim. If you use T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, (or any other carriers for example, they all require a SIM card specific to their networks..

I personally own the Google Pixel 4a phone. I am using the Google Pixel 4a case and its awesome. Great fit and good feel to this case.. I was happy to see that the case was comprised of 70 percent recycled materials.

Will I be able to set up a Wi-Fi tether on this phone ( so I can run my Chromebook off of it)?
I believe that tethering is a feature which is provided by your phone service provider. You should be able to tether from this device as far as I can tell.
