Can't be beat at this price

If you're looking for the Soap Opera Effect, look elsewhere. This set does not have it. Also, if you plan on using the Local Dimming feature, don't. It causes terrible artifacts and you can see each zone lighting up or dimming, causing a weird ribbing effect. like there's bars behind the screen. Luckily, with the 60" version of the E series, it's a VA panel made by Sharp, which has amazing black levels that don't need the Local Dimming feature turned on to achieve inky blacks.
Motion resolution on this set is great without the soap opera effect anyway. Again, you can thank Sharp for this. Little to no blurring with fast motion, so sports and action look awesome. There's a motion reduction feature that strobes the backlight to match the speed of the pixels refreshing, to help with motion reduction without adding more frames. You can see the image flickering on bright, solid color images, but this is rare. I don't see much of a difference having this on or off, mostly because this VA panel handles motion very well without needing help from a strobing backlight.
After calibration, it looks fantastic. If you want brighter whites, start with Computer picture mode and keep the color mode on Computer. If you want a warmer color cast, start with Calibrated Black and have the color mode on Normal. I prefer bleached-white whites, but some like warmer whites. Not much calibration is necessary to achieve a great picture on this set.

For the price, I expected more

Some may say that the price isn't a big factor because it's not a super expensive TV, but this 60" H6350 just doesn't justify the price. I exchanged this for a 60" Vizio E series, which visually performs just as good after calibration. Both the Vizio E600i-b3 and this 60" H6350 use VA displays made by Sharp.
Pros:
Blacks are amazing, even in a low-light room, shadow details are nice, colors are accurate. A little bit of tweaking is required in order to get this just right. Little to no blur, even without interpolation turned on (Soap Opera Effect). It's a Sharp VA panel, and not an IPS panel, so blacks are just as good as any other VA panel.
Cons:
Remote is very slow. The time it takes the TV to respond to the remote is frustrating. It's not so slow that it's unusable, but the delay is frustrating. Bright spots on the lower edge of the screen is distracting when the room is dim. Motion resolution isn't helped much by turning on Clear Motion, so it's just a Soap Opera Effect without any real benefit.
There are other televisions for hundreds less without compromising image quality.

Awesome mouse for FPS gaming
on November 9, 2013

As a die-hard wired mouse gamer, I was reluctant to get a wireless mouse. My fear was poor range and that dreaded input lag. There is none. I don't mean "barely any", I mean that I cannot tell that it's wireless. The input is just as fast as my wired gaming mice. As for the range, I can use it 6 feet away without any trouble, and if it does get sketchy beyond a certain range, the included USB extension will solve that problem. Now, with a wireless keyboard and this awesome wireless mouse, I can sit on the couch and dominate on BF4 in total comfort without missing any of my shots. The tracking is superb, as it would be with any other optical gaming mouse. Between my G400s and this G602, I now prefer the G602. Pretty much the same superb, smooth, and accurate tracking (I think they use the same sensor). It's comfortable for both "claw" grip and full-on palm grip. Can run on just one battery for a little less weight (it's lightweight with both batteries but I prefer it lighter). This doesn't affect performance, because the batteries are installed in parallel, so 1 battery gives 125 hours of life, and 2 batteries gives you 250 hours. Adjustable DPI setting using the 2 very easy to reach buttons next to the left-click makes it easy to steady my shots or if need-be, crank it up while I'm flying jets. Overall, I'm extremely impressed, and I'm not easy to please when it comes to gaming mice.

6400dpi 4G Optical SensorThe all-new Razer DeathAdder has been upgraded with the world's first 6400dpi Optical Sensor. Achieve high levels of performance while retaining the feel of the optical sensor most DeathAdder users have come to love. This mouse's 4G sensor has also been optimized to work perfectly with all Razer mouse mats. Just choose from one of the preset Razer mouse mats in Synapse 2.0 to calibrate the sensor, or use the manual calibration mode if you're using a custom surface.Get 200ips and 50G acceleration even at the lowest dpi settings. So even though your mouse sensitivity is scaled down, it catches up to the physical movement of your hand across the surface for an almost 1-to-1 response between mouse and game. The all-new Razer DeathAdder's mouse sensor has no drift control, ensuring that you'll be able to make minor movements in game, especially vital for FPS gamers pulling off that perfect headshot. This is the pinnacle of gaming accuracy with an optical mouse sensor.

Dead accurate, so-so ergonomics
on May 2, 2013

I was looking for a mouse to replace and/or beat my old Logitech G5 that died. After reading some reviews about the ergonomics and performance, I decided to give it a shot.
Priced at the high end of midrange, just like the G5, there's no sticker shock. Performance-wise, it beats the G5 in every way. Response is perfect, and the accuracy is amazing. I changed the 2 side buttons to Sensitivity Clutch using the Razer Synapse 2.0 software. This means that when I press one of the buttons, the sensitivity changed to whatever I chose as long as I hold one of the buttons (400 dpi for sniping, 2700 dpi for fast menuevering). Besides those, I keep it at 1100 dpi all the time, with Accelleration turned off and polling rate at 1000.
Ergonomics are important, and this mouse is not as good as the G5 in that department. I prefer to palm my mouse, which I can't do comfortably with this mouse. I end up having to claw-grip it, which fatigues my hand after a short time. If i had a mouse pad that has a built-in wrist pad, then I could palm it easier. The G5 was a palm mouse, but it seems like this one is meant for both types of usage. This DeathAdder isn't great for claw-gripping though, as now the right-side of my hand is actually sore from an hour of gaming last night. Maybe my hand will get used to it, or else I'll switch to the Logitech G400s.
What's great about it: Accuracy, customization, response
What's not so great: Ergonomics aren't as good as most Logitech mice

Perfect Sub For The Price
on March 8, 2011

Got a package deal discount when I bought this sub with a vented enclosure. For the price I paid, it's perfect. Even with a very underpowered amp I bought elsewhere, it hits hard and delivers deep rumbles. Dual voice coil is a nice bonus. For the price, it has a high RMS power rating (about 350 watts at 4 ohms). Make sure to get a nice box to accommodate the sub, or else you lose out on the sub's overall potential.
I looked at Kicker, almost bought a Kicker but at the same price the Kicker was half the RMS power.
Price/Performance ratio is excellent.
What's great about it: Perfect Price/Performance Ratio
What's not so great: Nothing

Does this tv use an IR cable?

What for, and why? If I have a harmony universal remote, do I still need the IR cable?
It does have an IR cable with an IR transmitter, and about a 6-foot cord. This is only used if you plan on using the provided Samsung remote as a Universal remote. If you already have a universal remote, you don't need the IR cable

panel manufacturer

for this set what are the codes for panels manufactured by Samsung
The 60" H6350 is a VA panel made by Sharp. Samsung doesn't use their own panels for the 60" version, so the only panel code is HS01. H6400 and H7150 60" also uses Sharp. This is a good thing, as Sharp makes awesome VA panels.
