Fitbit Surge Fitness Watch (Large): Built with GPS tracking and continuous, wrist-based heart rate monitoring, Surge displays real-time workout stats like distance, pace, elevation climbed, and heart rate intensity, so you can make the most of your training.
I hate to exercise. It's hard and I often don't see a single positive impact. I don't get the endorphin rush. I don't get a runner's high. I don't see love handles disappear. I hate to exercise! However, I'm a numbers guy. And this FitBit Surge helps me get my butt out the door to ride a bike, take a walk, or (gasp!) run. I'm actually wanting to go play golf to see how the Surge does.
To the point: the Surge is all about numbers and I like this product because it does everything it's advertised to do. I like the interface on both the watch and the dashboard on my cell phone. I'm entering in the food I eat, working at getting in the cups of water, and even taking walks to "get my steps in" at work.
I went with the Surge because I wanted the music control on my cell phone - was that worth an extra $100... maybe yes, maybe no. But today when I biked... wait for it... 10 miles! I didn't crash when I changed songs using my Surge watch instead of fumbling for my phone and trying to muck with it while riding an average of 9.43 MPH (yeah... more numbers that my watch told me about!)
If you're like me and just hate to exercise but happen to be driven by numbers, then try this watch out. Hopefully you'll get the benefit out of it that I have.
