Awful from start to finish

Was improperly installed with "extra" pieces left over. Eventually stopped closing (and working) just shy of the 1 year warranty mark. Of course it was patched long enough to stop working again about a week later.
Now, about three years after purchase it turns out this whole GE series is notorious for burning/melting things on the bottom rack including pieces of the dishwasher itself! The spinning arm that disperses water came off the tracks and completely melted on one side and the dishwasher doesn't drain anymore. And no, I checked with the plumber and there is no issue with the air gap or anything else on my end.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
