I should start by saying that we have a variety of wireless bulbs in the house already. While they don't Sync up to a hub they do communicate with the (in this case) phone very well. So it was really only out of curiosity that we bought this Hue Starter Kit.
We initially bought the Hue Kit thinking that it would be amazing and make our other bulbs seem archaic... that was not the case... The bulbs are Beautiful!!!! But the application that controls them is just way to under-developed... Everything was such a chore to do through it. Given that our other bulbs all work great, we weren't sure what the Hub (required to use the Hue bulbs) did. It seemed to just be another way to get at our wallet. I thought that maybe it synced with the bulbs so that when you lost power they would know what to do. It ended up not really doing much. I think the intent is to be able to use in when your'e away from home so there's that if you need it. We decided to wait a year or so and see if Philips makes some improvements.
We currently are super big fans of the Ilumi bulbs:

The Ilumi has excellent color and an even better app to control the bulbs.

First off, this computer is an excellent gaming machine. No, it's not a super computer that can run a 4K game at 120 fps. I use it for No Man's Sky, WOW, SC2, SINS, and Beyond Earth. It runs these games beautifully and with excellent performance. I admit that I wanted an i7 but the 6th Gen i5 works great. The GPU (970) works so great I can't even express my exctiment. I did order an 8 gig stick of ram given that there are two slots (1 open). I love the DDR4 ram. The HHD is OK... again I bought a 50 dollar SSD. I personally hate bloat ware but the ASUS software is actually kind of cool. It allows a fine tuned integration with the BIOS and the ability to change the clock speed of the hardware. Additionally you can change the LED color of the front center light. If you're a budget gamer like me, I can assure you that this system will blow you away.

Let me start by saying that I am about as picky with my computers as the Kardashians are with their selfies. I (for so long) wanted the Surface Pro but could never justify paying the money for it. When I saw this in the store I was instantly taken by it. Since owning it I have found that it is powerful enough to run my games (not that its primary purpose is gaming), my Microsoft Office Products, and whatever else. The touch screen is friendly and responsive, the battery is more than capable of full-filling my needs on the go, the keyboard is AMAZING!!! I love the keyboard..LOVE LOVE LOVE. Now with that said take into account that when you first set up the computer its going to ask you to type a code into the keyboard to sync it with the tablet but no text will visually display as you type... its fine.. i assure you that it is entering in the code. The screen is beautiful and large... this tablet is a beast in terms of size.. its most definitely not a in the bed playing angry birds tablet. But I bought it for the size. The fact that the keyboard is magnetic and seals onto the tablet makes it great for transporting. For the price it is great but it will not meet the power and performance of a i5 or i7 based tablet (IE: the surface pro 3) but its not enough to make a huge difference. Overall the system is great and I would recommend it to anyone. I hope this helps a bit.

Five months ago I had the sense to buy a 2012 Chevy Sonic (Hatchback)... For those of you not familiar with this car, its small. It holds great similarity to the Honda Fit, or Chevy Aveo. While the car is great the sound system left me wanting a little more. The Kicker Hideaway is crazy small and fits in the back of my car like it wasn't there... I'm not joking this thing is tiny... so much so that I really really expected little change in the quality of the audio. Best-buy installed it in little under an hour. The install guy turned the car on and we sat inside listening to music with the bass turned off... he told me to crank it up and holy carp I couldn't believe the difference... it blew me away at how it changed the sound. This product is amazing.. no its not the best sub on the market but it is the smallest and not bad price wise. Don't get me wrong the bass sounds amazing I'm just saying I'm not setting off car alarms or cracking windows with it. I drive over a hundred miles a day for work.... and I couldn't ask for more now.
What's great about it: Compact Size, Sound Quality
What's not so great: Price
I would recommend this to a friend!

They can be powered on 50,000 times. So, years and years.

Can I control the lights from anywhere? Let's say I'm at work and would like to turn on a light in the house. I'm I able to do that?
Yes, the Hub that the bulbs wireless-ly connect to enables you to control from anywhere (as long as you create a hue account and log in).

What is this? What does it do & what's it's purpose? Are they colored light bulbs with Bluetooth? Please explain.
No... They all sync up through a "Hub" which really only provides a function if you are looking to control your lighting while away from home. We use the Ilumi bulbs (which are bluetooth) which don't require a hub and can be controlled through a app. Really the Philips Bulbs are more advanced than most people need. Great hardware just poor execution of the Philips Hue app.

I have 4 ceiling fixtures, and each take 3 bulbs. Thinking about loading them up, each with one of the color bulbs for mood lighting, and the others with the much cheaper white bulbs. Anyone try something like this? Thoughts?
We actually did this! It works amazing. The bulbs are so brilliant that you can't even tell the white ones are one (if they are maxed out).

When will BestBuy get the new Samsung laptops? (QX410, RF510, RF710)
i need to know when will they get them so i can travel to the U.S to buy one
The corporate redirection means that the Samsung store within the Bestbuys are the only ones to carry the laptops.... but the samsung stores are more concerned about tablets, phones and accessories. I would not wait too long for BestBuy to resume the Samsung laptops line-up.

Is the battery replaceable?
I am afraid not... but it is rated for several thousand charges.... so you should never need to replace it. Keep in mind basic care options... if you are really concerned try not recharging it all the time and utilizing more of the battery capacity. Many people however think that battery technology hasnt improved over the years and that is incorrect... I can almost promise you that you will never need to replace the battery.

Is the hard drive user upgradeable to a full SSD?
Can the hard drive be upgraded to a full SSD by end users? Does the smaller form factor make this too difficult?
For all intensive reasons... no.. you will not be able to upgrade it. But I can tell you that the hybrid drive it comes with performs much much better than you would expect a 5400 rpm drive to. Something to do with the fact that it does use some flash storage to perform task.

What processor does this use?
Does this model have the Intel® Core™ M-5Y70 processor?
Yes... and it works great. I question it at first but its performance has met my every desire.
