Pretty Nice Gaming PC also good for multitasking

This is a pretty good gaming PC for off the shelf. It DOES NOT have a SSD drive in it, its a standard mechanical hard drive. It does have the new AMD Ryzen processor line in it, and 16gb of system memory. And a AMD RX580 video card 8gb which is Freesynch capable if you want to pair it with a Freesynch capable monitor for silky smooth gameplay.
The Ryzen processor is also very good at running multi programs at the same time, which really isn't a necessity for most gamers, but nice to have when adulting.
The keyboard and mouse that come with the unit are very basic Dell, and you probably won't be using them anyway. :)
I played various games with screen and video card Freesynch at 240hz, it worked very well, very smooth gameplay.
Elder Scrolls Online played very well, as did Doom, Wolfenstein the Old Blood, Lego World, Fallout 4, and Skyrim Special Edition. Yes, I do like me some Bethesda, I do admit.
This PC does have a small USB-C (the one newer android phones and other non apple devices are starting to use) port on the front for charging/connecting to the Desktop.
The DVD drive on the computer is like a fragile laptop DVD drive and took me a bit to get use to. But I don't use DVD drives much anymore, so its not a big minus.

2nd Best 1080p Monitor I Have Ever Used!

And it should be for this price, as its an enthusiast level monitor. The best is the Nvidia G-synch version of this same monitor, which I also tried out. Its a pretty close matchup, but you do pay extra for the G-synch tech in the other version of this monitor. Don't confuse this monitor for the G-synch, as this one does NOT have RGB LED lighting on the back at all.
If you have a AMD Freesynch capable video card, this monitor can handle synching with your video card for 240Hz. NATIVE, not overclocked. And 1ms gray to gray. Yes, it is silky smooth frame rate. I personally can't tell any difference once I get above 144Hz, but more is better I guess. It has a USB 3.0 hub built in to connect to USB 3.0 on your PC, and one of the two USB 3.0 ports right at the front bottom of monitor is marked for charging. There is also a headphone jack on the back of the unit to plug a line out from your PC to, so you can plug headphones into the front bottom of the monitor, right between the two USB 3.0 ports. When I do this I have to switch "Playback Devices" in Windows 10 to "Dell AW2518 High Definition Audio Device" to hear the headphones. The Color on this monitor is very very good. Has built in On screen overlay of timer or frame rate. If you buy this, it will probably be your LAST 1080p monitor. By the time your are done with this monitor in 4 to 7 years, I'd wager no one will be producing any enthusiast 1080p monitors anymore.

Best 1080p Monitor I Have Ever Used!

Wi-Fi Connected Printers Have Come A Long Way

This printer works best as a wireless accessed device. A lot of the features are not available if connected to a PC with a USB cable. You can set this thing up with an Android or Apple Smartphone or any Wi-Fi connected PC or MAC. You visit 123.hp.com and go from there when setting up the printer. You also visit 123.hp.com from computers and smartphones to setup your connection to the printer and get software/apps to help you use the printer.
Can setup an email address to simply email documents or photos to be printed by the printer. My wife setup her Google Drive as a "Printer App" on the printer, and you can print documents/photos directly from Google Drive at the printer if you wish, but it would be easier to do from a computer honestly. But the Google Drive setup does let you scan to Google Drive directly from the Printer Screen or through PC/phone Apps, which is the best use of the Google Apps integration. It does automatic double-sided printing, which I really like. The scan/copy function works well locally at the printer, and you can do basic scan to email as well. You can setup to use a ink-subscription based service with a monthly fee to print X number of pages a month, with a set overage fee for above that, and rollover pages that go to the next month. Think slightly older cell phone plans in concept.
Can print photos and documents from the smartphone app.
Only fancy feature I couldn't get to work was the HP Print Bot integration into Facebook Messenger, which would allow you to chat with the bot and print things from Messenger. It won't recognize the email name of the printer.
All in all this works much better than any Wi-Fi or networked printer I have ever used. Prints nice photos too.

Enjoy a variety of entertainment with this LG mini hi-fi system. Its Bluetooth function lets you stream audio from digital devices, and you can also play music from cassettes, FM radio and CDs. This LG mini hi-fi system has a USB port to read flash drive files and includes a remote control for convenience.

Brought back memories of the 80s in its function

When I was a young lad in the 1980's, my father bought a Magnavox Stereo system. It was an all in one system, not with separate components. It had a front loading tray cd player (pretty new for the time), a turntable for records up top and a dual cassette deck, and of course am/fm radio.
What this brings to mind is the time before wide use of computers to organize, burn, buy, music in its many forms. If you wanted to copy a cassette, you popped one in and recorded it onto the other deck, etc.

This LG system is similar. You can plug in a USB flash drive, and record from FM Radio (no AM radio, sorry) to USB MP3 file. You can also record from CD player to MP3 files on the USB drive as well. I couldn't try the functionality out with the Cassette player (this will be I'm sure the newest device most of us have ever seen with a Cassette player!) because I couldn't find a cassette anywhere in the house, even the "old time" boxes, which did have a few VHS tapes of recorded Seattle Supersonics games from the 90s, but I digress.
You cannot record from Bluetooth to USB. The Bluetooth function worked well from my phone. The 3 cd changer operated just like you would expect it to, no surprises in functionality there.
The sound is adequate, depending on the source, it can become a bit muddled as you go up high in volume, which is fairly typical for these types of speakers (small wire, low ohm, basic speaker in a particle board box). There is a jack on the front of the unit for auxiliary input (same size as earphone jack on smartphones). There is also RCA right/left input jacks on the back of the unit for further hook up.

Interesting Auto Vacuum with voice/remote control

One thing to know if you haven't had one of these robot vacuum's before. They are not very compatible with young kids or pets. Many a robot vacuum's day has been ruined by various toys/dolls/etc. being swept or sucked up and jamming the mini vacuum. If you have young kids or pets, think of this as the dust bunny/small debris maintenance between regular full sized vacuuming sessions. We generally only use on the schedule when we are mostly away for periods of time, and have to have a reminder to pickup/move/secure all the aforementioned kid/pets items beforehand. Setup with smartphone app, was able to get Amazon Alexa voice control setup and working. Was not able to get Google Home speaker voice control setup at all, kept failing trying to get it to be recognized and activate in Google Home app. Voice control is basic, useful if you can't find your phone or left it at the office I guess. Remote (smartphone app) and scheduling works well. Cleans in a seemingly random pattern, you cannot directly control it with the app. Vacuum avoids drop offs on its own very well. I don't have much use for the Invisible avoidance wall / pet food and water avoider device, but I tested it at a doorway and the robot vacuum turned back dutifully. It is useful to schedule via the app and have it visually there, much better than older more manual robotic vacuums. It is also nice to be able to turn it on remotely when gone from the house, when you forgot to do it for that "one special time". Easy to remove and dump, and good instructions for cleaning provided.

Great Sound!

First off, these are On-the ear headphones, not over the ear headphones, but are pretty comfortable. The sound fidelity is very good, JBL usually has great sound and doesn't disappoint here. Battery life is advertised as 20 hours and I haven't recharged them yet and have probably used them 14 hours. These don't work with JBL app, and don't announce the battery level, so hard to know when the batteries are getting low. No usb Charger included, but not much of a con these days for someone who would use a Bluetooth headset.
The controls, like just about any wireless headset where they are mounted on one of the cups, take some getting used to. Has option for corded use. Charge cord is Orange colored, hard to misplace that one. Soundshare is a novel option that worked well. Connect a second Bluetooth headset to THIS Bluetooth headset to hear the same output. Worked for two of us in bed watching a laptop movie with 3 year old asleep next to us.

SmartThings integration is a winner

This is not the fastest mesh router system. It certainly is not the most configurable for router functions and special needs. What it does do the best is have your SmartThings home automation have a very good signal at three distinct points in your home where the mesh units are located. This provides you with excellent control and communication to home automation equipment without relying too much on the natural mesh of communication between home automation devices relaying the signals to each other. I had the Wi-Fi up and running in a short amount of time using the required App on my smartphone. I then configured a few spare home automation items (my main HA hub was Wink 2) with the App and tested them out and they performed perfectly every time. I can use my NETGEAR Arlo Pro cameras to trigger things with the SmartThings HA as well now, something I couldn't do with Wink 2 hub. If you need more speed in between your wireless clients and/or have a very fast internet service speed, I would suggest the PRO version of this system, which has 4x4 AC radios available to clients for much faster speeds. This system is good for basic, almost non-configurable whole home Wi-Fi coverage and home automation coverage thanks to its distributed mesh topology.

Really nice ear buds

I was surprised by how good these sound. I don't think I'll go back to wired ear buds ever again. For listening at home I still prefer Cans, but these are great for out and about and working out. They do very well in sweaty environments and rainy/steamy weather/conditions. They also work well for taking calls. They come with two sizes of "cush fins" and three sizes of ear buds for a good fit.

Very Nice Bluetooth NFC Cans with Wired Option

The presentation on opening the product box was done very well and elegant. These cans are very comfortable and should adjust to fit most heads and ears. I connected them very easily with Bluetooth and also Bluetooth via NFC. They sound the same using the wired option whether the power is on or not, that is a nice feature. They do not have the biggest Bass I have heard in headphones, but are sufficient, and can be tuned easily to my taste with an equalizer. I would have liked a hardcase for these phones, but I am usually pretty careful with my headphones in general, so I think they should last quite a while. It did take me a bit to get used to the controls locations. I have not had to charge the battery yet, and have near 20 hours of use with them so far. They do feature a power saving feature that saves battery if you leave them on unattended.

The Google Home Hub has Google Assistant puilt into it. You do have to have a google account and the google home APP on a smartphone to most easily setup this device.

Looking to get help from Alexa and Google Home owners. I have had Alexa since it's release. Thinking of switching everything over to Google Home. Thoughts on which one is better?
They both have their uses. I have both, I use both. You can use Alexa to get to Cortana, and use Cortana to get to Alexa. You can use Alexa and Fire TV to quickly view Arlo Cameras. Both integrate well with Wink Hub 2 based smart home devices, and can do so at the same time. It would be nice to get all the smart speakers and displays to play the same music together synched regardless of if they are Google or Amazon based, but that's probably never going to happen. If I had to pick one, I'd pick Alexa because of how many skills they have for it. But I don't have to, because they coexist quite well.

Yes you can do that. I have tested it. If you want regular sound, you will have to hook up speakers to the audio line out jack on the monitor. It does not have internal speakers, but will convert HDMI audio to the analog line out jack, which is a standard headphone type jack.

They don't silence out the snoring, they mask it with other more relaxing sounds. I'd say they do a pretty good job of masking most snoring, but if you got a partner like a jet engine, you probably don't sleep next to them already.

That is correct. These Bose - Noise-masking sleepbuds - White are marketed as White and in fact, when received, are confirmed to be white in color.

Will the unit work with bluetooth speakers?
I could not get it to work to connect or output to Bluetooth speakers. It worked fine as receiving input from a phone via Bluetooth.
