Excellent Product for Short Headphone Cords
on August 21, 2011

Type of Listener:Casual listener
Most Important to Purchase:Price
How Often Used:3-5 times a week
I like to lay back and listen to movies and music with my headphones but the cord is too short. So these are the perfect fix with it's 20 foot coiled cord, and adapters for 1/4" and 1/8" jacks/plugs. It was so easy to set-up. I stretch it out to 8 foot while listening with my headphones all the time and the cord seems to be durable. An excellent product!
What's great about it: Easy to set up, coil cord, adapters
What's not so great: Nothing bad about this product. It is great to have.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Budget Headphones for Casual Listeners
on August 20, 2011

Type of Listener:Casual listener
Most Important to Purchase:Price
How Often Used:Daily
There are 3 things I like about these Headphones:
1) The price
2) The slim and swivel design
3) The Sensitivity
I bought these headphones to listen to movies and music because the punch of the bass on my sound system is so strong, it would annoy everyone in the house. The price is unmatchable for the performance it delivers with style and comfort. The headphone for the right ear is marked with a red band for quick locating so I don't have to look for "L" or "R" markings. The padded earphones swivel to make a more comfortable fit.
The sound it delivers is outstanding for a headphone of this price. It has a Sentivity of 100db/mW. Vocals and songs come out very clear; in fact I could not detect any distortion unlike my sound system, which is another reason why I use this for movies and songs on my PC. While watching movies, the deep bass does not overpower soft voices and I can listen with comfort without adjusting the volume. These headphones supplies adequate sound frequencies at all levels. I adjust the volume with my PC's volume control; but even this little shortcoming could not undermine the fact that these are excellent headphones for the budget shoppers.
The only thing I wish it could have is a longer cord (the cord is 47 1/4" but I like to lay back and listen) and volume control... But then Sony would triple the price. : (
What's great about it: Excellent price, the design and quality, and great sound.
What's not so great: Personally, the cord is short.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Budget Speakers for Non-Discerning Listeners
on August 20, 2011
Posted by: 15ofJuly

There are 3 things I like about this Speaker System (2 would not be enough and 4 would be too much)
1) Control Pod
2) Fills the room with better than expected bass sound.
3) Uses the PC earphone jack.
The control pod has 3 functions for the speaker system. 1) Power on and off. If it is not turned on (with green light indicator), then there are no sound (easy). 2) Volume control. Very handy because I don't have to reach over and look for the volume control on a right speaker where they would normally be on a system that do not have a pod. 3) Headset connector. Another good feature because I do not have to plug my headset into my PC (which is already being used by this system). The pod's volume control can also adjust the volume of your headset if your headset does not have volume control; although went you try to adjust the volume of your headset by this method, the changes are very minimal. Adjusting it using with your PC's volume control gets greater results.
The sound coming from the wooden subwoofer, and satellite speakers are powerful enough to fill my bedroom and through my closed door and through the floor to downstairs thanks to a 4-inch down-firing driver and a front bass extension-port (when cranked up you can feel it shooting pulsating air) When I cranked the volume up to maximum, I can detect a little distortion which sound a bit blurred and muffled. Unfortunately, there are no bass or treble controls which would help in reducing the muffled sound when you turn the volume up to watch a movie (the whispering are hard to hear and the shouting are hard to understand). Fortunately, I can plug my headset into the control pod and (surprise!) everything sounds clear as though I'm in a cinema. Music, especially instrumentals, with mid range being more prominent than the rest of the frequencies is where this system excels in. The bass will deliver a punch that you can feel which is more than I expected from a budget speaker system.
The set-up is easy and there is nothing to download. 1) Connect the satellite speakers to the subwoofer. 2) Plug the power from the subwoofer to the surge protector. 3) Connect the control pod to the PC's earphone jack.
What's great about it: Easy to set up, good price, and good quality and design.
What's not so great: No bass or treble controls.

Type easier and more accurately with the height-adjustable HP Elite V2 wireless keyboard. It's compatible with many computers and tablets, and the 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity works from as far away as 30 feet. The keys of the HP Elite V2 wireless keyboard operate quietly, and prevent dust and dirt accumulation.

Great Stylish Keyboard
on August 12, 2011

from South San Francisco, CA
There are three things I like about this Keyboard:
1) The slim design.
2) The Link-5 micro-receiver with 2.4Ghz.
3) The feel of the keycaps.
The design is very slim, sleek, modern and sophisticated. it is very pleasant matte black in color.
The Link-5 micro-receiver will let me connect up to five HP-compatible PC accessories with one receiver, hence freeing my PC of some USB ports so I will be able to not use my D-Link Port Hub. Set-up is easy; plug in the micro-receiver, press the connect button on the bottom and my Keyboard is working in a few seconds. Nothing to download and I have had no problem.
The keycaps feel great to the touch. They are quiet, bouncier, and responsive so I can type faster. Beside your basic keys, it has the following hot keys: volume control, mute, internet launch (great!), and sleep mode.
It isn't for gaming (which I don't), it doesn't have back-lighting or lighted keys (which I don't need, and I never type in the dark), It is just a great practical, stylish, and high-tech keyboard to add onto my Laptop (because Laptop keyboards feel warm when they are used for several hours, probably from the heat underneath)
The only issue I have is not with the Keyboard itself, but Best Buy put it on Sale, lowering the price by $15.00 a week after I bought it! I'll follow with them on that.
What's great about it: Easy to set up, slim design, Link-5 technology, and feel of the Keycaps.
What's not so great: Only Link-5 HP-compatible PC accessories can share on Link-5 micro-receiver.

Great Value on this Outstanding Laptop

The AMD processor is fast! It is very easy to setup; just plug everything in and the system download everything for you. The 17.3 inch screen and ATI Graphics is outstanding. The numeric keyboard is great to have. With 4GB and 500GB Hard Drive capacity, I can't ask for anything more in a computer. I had it for only two days, and everything is working smoothly so I have no negative comments. Thank you Best Buy!
What's great about it: Great value, performance, and easy to set up.
What's not so great: No high speed USB 3.0 Port
