I used to have a Harmony One; I loved that remote. For some unknown reason Logitech decided to discontinue the Harmony One. The only thing I like about the Harmony Elite is the ability to sync your remote without having to plug it into a computer every time. The touch screen on the Harmony Elite is too sensitive which makes it impossible to scroll through the options without hitting one of the virtual buttons. There are no hard number buttons making it impossible to type in a channel number without using the touch screen. I used to love having my favorite channels setup with icons that looked like the channel logo on my Harmony One. One touch and the remote would send the channel number or numbers to your system. It was one of my favorite functions of the Harmony One. On the Harmony Elite you can save 50 favorite channels the same way, but the icons are so tinyl that you can barely discern them. I used that function constantly on my Harmony One, and almost never use it on the Elite because I can barely see the icons. To make matters worse, every time I try and scroll through the touch screen I end up hitting one of the virtual buttons and the remote sends a command that I wasn’t trying to send. This is a very expensive remote control; for what it costs it should work at least as well as its predecessors, but it doesn’t. Save your money...THIS THING IS A REAL PIECE OF JUNK!!

I love this hard drive. It’s very compact for a drive that holds 2 terabytes. It comes with backup software, and a carrying pouch. It’s USB 3.0, but it works fine with USB 2.0. I am thinking about purchasing a second one when they go on sale again.

What's great about it: Does not need a seperate power cord, it's USB powered

Hours and hours of wasted time...

I purchased this to go along with my Harmony One and PS3. I wish I would have saved myself the time, and aggravation. I consider myself tech savvy, but I was unable to get this device to work consistently. I phoned Logitech several times and was escalated to their second tier…I never heard back from them. After spending countless hours trying to get the three devices to play nice together…I finally gave up and returned the adapter to BestBuy. The primary problems I had: it would fail to power off the PS3 when changing activities, it would lose its controller assignment and the PlayStation required a reboot to re-sync them, and it locked up my PS3 several times to the point I had to do a hard reset to unlock it. Side note… Since you can only pair one Bluetooth device with the PlayStation. If you already own the Sony Blue Tooth remote, you might as well put it in a drawer for now, because you can’t use it while the adapter is paired with your PS3 I will stick with my Nyko adapter…hey, at least it works.
What's great about it: The few times it worked it was nice.
What's not so great: You can not use your Sony Blue Tooth Remote if you are using this.

It does not work correctly.

I tried to upload a thumb drive with about 340 pics on it. I followed all the directions to a T, but it would not run the show. I haven't had a chance to return it. The photos were of a deceased friend and I wanted to run the picture frame at his memorial wake. Had to use my laptop instead.

Did you make sure you had the frame set to use the USB port and not the built in storage? It will not automatically detect the thumb drive like a computer; you have to go into settings and select USB.

If you read my review, you would have seen that my complaint is not that I accidentally touch the screen. The problem is many times when I deliberately try and scroll through the touch screen it causes the remote to interpret the swipe as a touch, and it sends an unwanted command. Sometimes all I need do is put my finger close to the touch screen and it causes the remote to send a command. Logitech needs to add a sensitivity setting for the touch screen; better yet put the arrow keys back like they were on the Harmony One so you can change pages without actually touching the screen. What is the point in locking the screen when I am trying to use it? The other thing I mentioned is that the remote has no HARD number buttons. I know where the virtual number buttons are located on the touch screen, but who the heck wants to slide the touch screen to the right every time they want to use the number keys? The way Logitech has the command button keys positioned on the remote is so counter intuitive. Why not group all of the commands like guide, exit, menu and info together? I wish my Harmony One hadn’t died…now that was an excellent remote! Once again I reiterate; the Harmony Elite is a very expensive piece of junk. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.
