Still need a Vacuum..

For what the Samsung Powerbot does I like it a lot but i would only recommend to owners that have hardwood floors
Good and Bad
Good:
- Great on hard wood floors
-love the self docking option
-programmable cleaning schedule come back to a clean floor.
-it seems like its MORE aware of objects or walls.. does not knock into this TOO much
-didnt fall off stairs

- hard time pick up coins and little bigger items. also issue with tissue plugging up machine (yes TISSUE)
- had a lot of issues wireless connectivity. app doesnt work on rooted devices
- struggle with carpet cleaning.. (not recommend if you have carpets)
- you have to move it up stairs if you want it cleaned.

Samsung sound bar vs $100 sound bar

This sound bar replaced my $100 2 channel sound bar with no sub woofer.
I am impressed with the sound quality. I definitely can hear the richness and depth of the audio but its not as much as I thought it would be. My friend has sound bar with wireless sub woofer ( around $200) and the quality of his sound bar was alot better. With his sound bar you can really feel the bass.
I've had issues with this sound bar dropping audio on ARC mode. It could be TV ( VIZIO E55-XXX model) but i didn't have this problem with my old sound bar.
After using the sound bar for 2 weeks i wouldn't recommend this to a friend. I stick with a sound bar and sub woofer combo

Powerful router but disconnects intermittently

I’m not really sure how I want to rate this. This router is very simple to setup and is one of the more powerful router I’ve come across. Speeds on both bands (when working) are amazing. The range on the device is also very good. I have a 2000sqft home and the device is located upstairs in the middle of the house. There’s no dead spots and I will still be connected even if I go out to the drive way. I have over 20 devices connected to it on both 2.4 and 5GHZ channels (cell phones, desktops, laptops, tablets, TVs, security cameras and game consoles.)
However, the one issue I immediately encountered was intermittent disconnects on the 5GHz channels across various devices. I updated the firmware right away and cycled the device hoping for the issue to disappear but the disconnection continued. Although it’ll re-connect almost immediately after it disconnects but it’s still very frustrating. So when it’s working, this is an awesome router. I had been busy to troubleshoot it more but until the problem with the 5GHz gets fixed I won’t be able to recommend this unit to others.

Amazingly clean

This is my first electric tooth brush and I have to say im very impressed. At first, it feels really weird when brushing your teeth, but I got used to it.
I’ve been using this for about 4 weeks now here is the good and bad:
Good:
- Get your teeth really clean. Like you just got of the dentist
- The brush heads are easy to remove. So you can easily have different family member use different brush heads
- Battery life on the unit last about 2 to 3 weeks.

Bad:
- Expensive for the unit and for the replacement head.

Great Speaker but lacks support

The Good:
I am very surprised to see how small this speaker is (It’s a little bit bigger than a softball). But what was MORE surprising was the sound coming out of it. Really clear quality to a certain point. Enough to fill my living room ( 30x 30 x 10). Just by holding the speakers you can tell it will with stand the “drop test” it’s a really ruggedize feeling. I haven’t tested it out yet, but I am pretty sure float in water and have no issues.
The Bad :
Some distortion with max volume and songs with a lot of base. But to me that’s common with all speakers.
Had issue with pairing a second phone to the device, but this was my mistake, I was pressing the wrong button. However, I took the tech support 1 week to get back to me after I sent them a video of what I was doing.. 1 week is rather long to get support.

My honest review of the Dyson V7 Motorhead.
The good:
Its a fantastic hand held device. Doesn’t weigh too much and its really user friendly. There is no comparison to other “dust busters” on the market. It’s an extremely powerful vacuum and keeps its power.

30 minute battery life. To me it seems short. The upright attachment doesn’t work well on carpets. I have to go over the same area a couple of times for it to pick up the dirt. However, it does work really well on hardwood floors.

Must have if you need a Presenting Device

First thing you will notice when you get the Logitech Spotlight is “feel” of the device. In my opinion, its perfectly balanced and fits comfortably in your hands. Feels like a solid piece of metal.
Installation is pretty easy. Plug the dongle into the computer and the software will install. There is a step by step tutorial on how to use the Spotlight during the setup process. The whole process took 1 min complete.
**** Side note*** I had trouble connecting the Spotlight to the dongle but that’s because I needed to charge the Spotlight. So don’t forget to charge the device.
So far I have no issue with this. I am using the Spotlight on a Windows 10 laptop with PowerPoint 2016 connected to projector.
Overall, I would recommend the Spotlight to anyone who does presentations. It’s definitely a step above all the rest.
One ding I have to give the Spotlight is the cost..

Too New for DD-WRT

I originally got the Linksys WRT3200 ACM router to replace my aging ASUS RT-AC56U that’s currently serving as my main & VPN router. I decided to go with this unit because of the powerful processor 1.8 GHz processor for better VPN performance (800 Mhz on the ASUS). The other main reason that pushed me towards this unit is that it’s open source ready, which means I can easily flash the unit with 3rd party firmware like DD-WRT, Tomato or OpenWrt for even better features, customization and performance. I personally like to use DD-WRT firmware because of the constant update and support from the community. If you want the best performance you might want to check out Tomato or OpenWrt, although you do need to be more tech-savvy to get them to setup correctly.
While I love all the specs of this new Linksys unit, here’s the bad thing about getting the latest and greatest. Since this unit had just been released and is so new. The DD-WRT firmware that I had tested so far is still very unstable. The latest version that I’ve tested (V3.0 build: 30796 beta) completely stripped me of my 2.4Ghz band (not showing up at all) and my 5Ghz band is giving me a DL speed of about 10Mbps(without going thru VPN) while my fiber connection at home runs at 150Mbps. So after some tinkering, I decided to flash the unit back to the one from Linksys (for now) and is using it as my primary router while I use the old ASUS as a dedicated VPN client.
I can’t really say if I love this router right now due to the whole firmware issue. But once a stable release comes out, I’m pretty sure it will be a beast of a router with its specs.

Almost Perfect Phone

I went from a Samsung S5 to a Google Pixel, which is a huge upgrade! I’ve always been a fan of Android and Google did a great job with this phone. All the Google applications are installed on the phone with no extra bloatware other than the Verizon app that came with it. The package design and look and feel is very consistent with Google products. Phone is built well and is lightweight. I wish the fingerprint sensor was in the front, but I think I’ll eventually get used to it. It has a 12.3MP camera and takes great photos…I just upped my social media game with the Pixel. The phone is responsive and takes photos quickly. Also, it comes with unlimited Google photos/videos, which is great since the phone I’m reviewing comes with 32GB. The AMOLED screen is vivid and has crisp colors. So far the battery life is amazing. I can go a full day of using apps consistently, which might not compare to the iPhone. Google Assistant is pretty useful, but can be fine-tuned to be even better.
My only gimmick with the phone is I wish it allowed for additional storage and I hope Google will consider adding this feature to the phones in the future. Also, they need to add a battery percentage on the icon.

I have a lot of “technology” devices. Nexus 9, Ipad 2, HTC M9, Iphone 6, Oneplus One, Asus tab just to next a few. I am spoiled when it comes to technology. I expect everything to work just like what I have or better.
The Acer Iconia One in some ways disappoints.
Right out of the box the tablet doesn’t feel natural. I am so use to the Nexus 9. It’s a bit heavier and bigger.. The plastic back feels cheap and when holding the tablet with one hand on the corner it feels like it’s going to snap because of the weight. The device had a hard time connecting to my router and in some cases it didn’t connect at all.
The Iconia One felt like it lagged in when using it.. wasn’t snappy or sharp. I noticed a very very small delay enough where it bothered me.
But for around a $140 I guess you get what you pay for. It’s an average tablet in my mind.
Personally, I’d rather spend a little more for a better tablet.
