Got this as a Christmas present, and already broke

This is my 2nd Sharp Roku, the first one is doing great - it's the larger 43 inch size. This one has been hooked up 2 weeks, and when I turned it on tonight, it comes on, but will not respond to the remote other than to power on and off. (Not the batteries either) The red light blinks, and it makes the noise that it normally does, in response, but it will not change anything on the screen, so now it is completely useless. I no longer have the box of course, but I am hauling this thing back to Best Buy. Very very disappointed.

This tv has a fantastic picture, right out of the box. However the "Smart Hub" does NOT work, it frequently freezes the tv so that the remote control does not even work. Netlix is unusable, and the other apps simply give a "preparing the tv, try later" message. I emailed Samsung support and got back a standard "try this and this and this..." email, and none of the suggestions work. If you don't care about the "smart" part of the tv, then this set is great. But I can't get over how many complaints there are online about this exact issue, for Samsung televisions. I don't see how they can still be selling them. I returned this to Best Buy and got a refund.

Extremely washed out picture, will be returning.

Don't understand the good reviews on this set. The picture is horribly washed out, and I have tried adjusting the settings but nothing has resolved it. Also comes with an very cheaply-made remote. The main toggle is hard to use, and you have to have line of sight for it to work.
This was my first Vizio...and will most likely be my last.

I was looking for speakers for my son to cart off to college - his money, so definitely was on a budget. Found a thread online that was discussing the first version of these speakers and how great they were. While reading that thread, someone posted that the new version had just been released. I headed to BB to listen to both (the new ones were not even hooked up yet - just were sitting on the shelf). The salesman kindly agreed to connec the new speakers, and we were able to listen to both, side by side. The originals were very good, but these new ones were just amazing. Tempted to buy another pair for my BF as it is such a good value! Highly recommend these speakers for solid mains.
What's great about it: Sound, value

Wi-Fi TV?
Can you watch television without any cables or hook-ups if you have Wi-Fi in your home? I thought the wireless Wi-Fi in my home would be all that I need to watch television. I set everything up, and I only get the internet. I purchased this tv mainly to watch television. What am I not understanding? The source settings are correct -- HDMI. I have ATT-Uverse. Everything is bundled -- phone, internet, and television. Do I need to purchase a separate box or cable for this television?
You can watch Netflix, at least that is the way the tv is SUPPOSED to work. The smart apps do not work correctly on Samsung sets so don't bother with them. As far as broadcast channels, you need an antenna or cable hookup, obviously. Surely you know this.

It does, but it does not work. It's useless.
