Overall this phone is excellent but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who just wants a phone and music player. The size can be a little cumbersome at times yet mostly proves useful. Text is easy to read and pictures and video comes out clear, bright and colorful.
The Android operating system is much more powerful than Apple's iOS in my opinion, but with all the extra personalization and features it takes some exploration and getting used to. I find myself searching for solutions to minor issues I come across more frequently than I would like to because they're often hidden deep within a submenu.
The camera is excellent overall, but pictures come out with a little barrel distortion that has to be fixed in photoshop or lightroom. It's great for casual use (as I'm sure it's intended) and takes great photos in sometimes difficult places to get a good cell-phone picture, but if you find yourself taking a picture for "art" you'll need to doctor it up a bit later.
Finally; I love that I can download and unzip files from the web and manage them in folders as I wish. iOS does not allow this. The Google Play store doesn't quite have the caliber of apps the iTunes store does, but most everything I use came with the phone anyway.
If you consider yourself a "power user" or IT professional, this phone will make you very happy. If you're like my parents, skip it and get an iPhone.
What's great about it: offers ability to do much more than iPhone, large screen is excellent for reading and viewing pictures and video.
What's not so great: the phone's size is almost too big for casual use, personalization is a bit complex and takes some getting used to.

We've got hardwood floors and two dogs, this thing is the perfect solution for one-step cleanup. It vacuums, it mops, it dries (well, sucks up most of the water anyway). I would recommend this over a steam mop that you have to change or wash the pads, the only cleaning you have to do with this is dump the dirty water down the drain and rinse the reservoir. The only drawback is you have to refill the solution half-way through the cleaning but it's still better than mopping with a bucket of dirty water.
What's great about it: great price for what you get
What's not so great: not a big enough solution tank or dirty water reservoir for a whole house
