Great beginner mini drone.

My brother bought me the Swat version for Christmas. It's my first drone and I can say that I learned very quick. I'm a 28yo male and I love gadgets and tech in general so I can tell the mini drone is well made for a beginner model. The optional bumpers make it easier for indoor flight or kids. I don't recommend this for a child. Ages 10+. The rechargeable battery is nice with around 10mins flight time. It does not come with a 2.5amp charger though which is a shame cause with one it takes about 30mins for a full charge. Luckily I had one. If you plan to fly a lot, I recommend an extra battery or two which can be bought online. The app is not great nor is it completely useless. You will have a little trouble using Bluetooth on your phone to connect to the drone the first time. Once you are connected however, taking off and flying is simple. 4 different flips are possible with a simple double tap on your phone screen.
TL:DR Great first mini drone, ages 10+, well made, ~10min flight time, App is 6/10 but still easy to fly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
