The drive is pretty slow. Large files get up to about 6 MB/s. With lots of small files, the write speed drops to around 1 KB/s. That is very bad.
Can't recommend this one.
What's great about it: cheap, large capacity
What's not so great: Very slow if you have lots of small files.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
