I have rented this lens in the version 1 several times and the version II is even better. It is such a great all around lens. I have been able to capture everything from portraits to action sports. The lens is fast and sharp. Of course the constant aperture is great too at an F2.8. I saved a lot of money on this one as best buy had a $300.00 instant rebate + cannon had another $300.00 mail in visa card rebate. Wow 600 off a great lens such as this couldn't be passed up.

What's great about it: Multipurpose Great for portraits and action
What's not so great: Nothing

The Price was Right Apple wanted 400.00 to upgrade my macbook pro i7 laptop to 8gb from 4gb and I did it for less than 80.00 As stated the memory is a direct replacement for the installed apple memory and it works great. The computer sped up during processing of photo's in lightroom which is a great benefit.
What's great about it: Great Price
I would recommend this to a friend!

has anyone used the canon 200mm f2.8 for night football games?
I use a 70-200 f2.8 all the time for night stuff. Its all about ISO the higher your camera will let you go the better your going to do with action shots at night. Make sure your moving with the action to make sure you get less blur
