I am an academically trained professional chef, and this is my work horse. Go into almost any professional kitchen, and you will find and army of these, for a reason. It is large enough to feed an army, strong enough to power through multiple portions of notoriously tough pizza dough effortlessly, and fast enough to give you a full bowl of whipped cream is minutes.
I live alone, cook constantly during the week, but host large dinner events often at my home. With the small bowl add on it makes it great for quick mashed potatoes, and large enough to never leave me needing additions room (even when feeding a crowd of 20).
This is an industry standard with load of standardized accessories; there is no fear of being unable to locate the wonderful pasta roller ten years from now.
There are other great mixers that offer similar capacity, power, and add ons, but I doubt any will be able to match the longevity of the kitchen aid mixer line.
What's great about it: Large, powerful, and with the accesories it gives you the right tool for every need.
This washer features 6Motion technology that utilizes 6 different wash motions to thoroughly clean fabrics and a SenseClean system that automatically sets water level and wash time based on the load size. The TrueBalance antivibration system reduces operational noise.
This has been my faithful servant for over a year now and could not be happier. It looks great, runs almost silent, and breezes through everything I throw at it. Since I only live with another single room mate, it handles out small load efficiently, can get every bit of grime out of anything with the internal water heater and it's sanitary cycle, and is large enough to accommodate my fluffy queen comforter without complaint (though it may be too small for a king).
This is only lacking two things: 1. Some other models offer a larger drum, but as I live alone this is more than large enough for my needs and most dryers are only 7.3 cu.ft. anyway. 2. Does not have steam. But, the internal water heater is able to blast through anything I throw at it. Any garments that I may consider using the steam only feature get dry cleaned anyway.
I could not have been happier with my choice. It is priced appropriately, and has almost ever feature of the highest end model; these additional features failed to provide any value to me and this not worth the addition costs in my opinion.
What's great about it: Every feature, but leaves out the few I dont need making it more affordable.
What's not so great: Steam would be nice, but I did not seen enough value to justify spending additional for it.
Ensure optimal treatment for a variety of fabrics with this electric dryer that features 9 drying programs and 5 temperature selections to help you choose the best settings for each load.

I have owned this dryer for about one year now and am completely satisfied. With the exception of steam, it is able to handle everything I throw at it and has an appropriate setting for everything. Since is it easy to get the stream result in a dryer by throwing in a lightly damp rag as I have been doing for years, I saw no reason to expend money on this feature. It looks great and is near silent.
It easily handles my thick queen comforter easily after a wash, but would imagine it may not accommodate a king. I live with another single room mate. Though we do not do not handle large volumes of clothing, when I need to go a full load of towels or bedding, it handles it on auto dry with one pass without fail.
Only note, this unit does not come with the drying rack. However, this is an inexpensive accessory from LG and is a must have!
What's great about it: Large, looks great, and is darn near silent.
What's not so great: Doesn't come with dring rack, but it is inexpensive from LG.
