Make controlling your home theater devices simple with this remote that can control up to 4 devices for wide-ranging use (2 AAA batteries required, not included).
I bought a couple of these for our vacation rentals. I wanted something that a first timer could pick up and use. It takes a little figuring out if your going from watching TV to DVD on knowing which buttons to push to make everything work the way you want. This is no Logitech universal remote that you just push one button (ie: DVD) and all of the proper components go on. But I didn't want to spend over $100 for a remote for a vacation rental where they get thrashed or lost. It does the job and it looks easier that the old remote to clean which was silver and looked grungy even when it was clean.
What's great about it: It works
What's not so great: A little confusing if you've never used it before
#1 Disc Repair System fixes scratches that cause a disc to skip, freeze, and fail to play. Manual repair process smoothes surface scratches to renew the disc's protective layer, leaving disc data unaffected.
This took some nasty scratches and skips out of my discs. I hope it lasts longer than the projected 30 discs it's supposed to fix. (That's about a buck a disc to fix). I'll keep using it until it dies.
What's great about it: Took out some nasty scratches
What's not so great: Supposed to be good for only about 30 discs
Connect your digital audio devices with this cable that sends digital surround sound audio signals through Toslink digital audio (S/PDIF) jacks. Precision-made connectors ensure an ideal fit.
Once I found out that the bulb on the end of the cord is not an optical component but actually a rubber protective cap (which I found out after talking to 4 different reps at Best Buy). I ruined one of my optical jacks on my surround sound receiver trying to jam it in. Thank goodness I didn't ruin the one on my new plasma. The first 3 reps said it should just plug in. I was encouraged to push harder and the thing kept falling out. The fourth rep asked me if I had removed the rubber cap. D'oh! I didn't want to touch it because I thought it was an optical bulb. There were no instructions, so how was I to know. The caps on the HDMI cables are much more obvious.
What's great about it: Great audio
What's not so great: Don't forget to take the rubber caps off of the ends

Works great and very handy when using my monopod. It would get 5 stars if GoPro would include the finger screw and bolt. C'mon GoPro, for almost 10 bucks, couldn't you throw that in so I don't have to dismantle my other mounts?
