Beware the Digital copy is less than useful
on January 4, 2016

Received this as a gift, it is a great set. It advertised a 'Digital Copy' but this digital copy is severely limited. It only works through their service and saves only on Hulu or Flixter. Neither work with my iTunes library or AppleTV, and they are both streaming only. For me these are useless.
Unable to return, so stuck with discs, ugh, who uses discs anymore.

Did you shut the window? Did the baby wake up? What’s the dog getting into? Google Nest Cam helps you stay connected to things – in super clear 1080p HD video. It sends alerts to your phone when there’s motion or sound. And only takes a minute to set up. Google Nest Cam lets you see around the clock with Night Vision. And has a built-in mic and speaker so you can tell your dog to get off the couch. Think you missed something? Subscribe to Google Nest Aware + Video History and your Google Nest Cam will continuously record up to 30 days of video so you can rewind and see what happened.

Close, but still needs work

Impressive build quality and design, I love the mounting and flexibility. But then what is up with the cable? It is like a huge afterthought, it is unnecessarily thick (it should need only 3 wires max) it is not flexible and makes mounting cleanly impossible.
For it to be of any use you need to pay the subscription, and it is a PER CAMERA subscription, which can get expensive fast.
The mobile app has very limited functionality when it comes to history or alerts. I have yet to get an alert take me to the correct clip. Even viewing the clips on mobile is random at best.
The alert "zones" are limited as they only work for particular situations. I.E. if you have a window as a zone, yet if someone walks in front, even many feet from the window, it will trigger. In the docs, web and video it leads you to believe it is smarter. It is not.
Did I mention this camera gets VERY hot?
The image quality is good, as is the night vision, but of course this is only if your network bandwidth is good. Also note that this camera is using your precious internet upload bandwidth all the time the camera is on. No local buffering here. I would like to see it just send video if motion or sound was triggered.
Think if you have 10 of these. Hello Comcast throttling...
I think it still needs a lot of work.
Did I mention the huge afterthought of a cable? They don't use it for configuring, so they don't need a full USB cable, just a nice thin and flexible cable for power would be much better. Perhaps in black to match the rest of the camera.

What? they replaced a good model for this.

I have been using Harmony remotes for the past 10 years. They were great, then Logitech took over. It seems the software gets dumber and dumber, losing critical advanced programming features, necessary for many installations. This version is their worst.
Now they release this 'touch' A touch screen remote is never a good idea, touch screen are great for a device you are interacting with, but a remote you are interacting with the TV, not the remote, so you want your eyes on the TV not the remote. Not intuitive.
They also moved the critical and often used DVR buttons to the top, which is not reachable without changing your hand position. Then there is the touch screen, and it's "gestures" There are only five you can program, you can't do this through software but must do it on the remote, again non-intuitive. But it does not default to this state, so you not only have to activate your current activity, you then must hit the gestures button after to activate the touch screen.
This touch screen is no iPhone either, it does not work well, it misses a lot of commands, and there is this little help '?' at the bottom that is constantly getting hit taking you to a seemingly endless loop, again not helpful.
To be honest this feels like it was designed by people that have never used a remote control, TV or another other audio device, nor an iPhone/touch screen device. It seems like they were trying to complete a checklist of features: touch screen; check, black; check, fewer buttons; check...
none of which they do well.
And for $250 it is very expensive considering it is still an IR only universal remote, no RF, no bluetooth, no replaceable battery, the software is their worse yet (web based only, with a very poor and buggy interface)
This could have worked if they would have:
Left all the buttons on the bottom where your fingers are.
Made the touch screen gestures default to on, let the user add more gestures (5 is not enough)
replaceable battery
add RF and bluetooth
more than one activity per screen right now you only get one, the screen is larger that the Harmony One but yet they allow much less information.
and I am sure a hose of other items...
or just listen to your users and not the marketing people that have people to operate the remotes for them.
They should have never discontinued the Harmony One.
I for one will be looking for another company to supple my universal remotes from this point forward.
What's great about it: It is going back
What's not so great: Touch screen? oh and everything else.

In theory this should be great, a case that where you can rotate the iPad. But the execution sucks, the magnetic clasp works only part time at best, it would appear they tried to save $.08 and get a cheaper smaller magnet so it has to be lined up EXACT, and I mean EXACT. Now the design allows you to rotate the iPad, the other issue is that there is only one of these weak magnets, and thus you have to have the correct iPad orientation, there are no markings and nothing to tell you which side is up, and the case would appear to work the same either way. Yet without the 2nd magnet the auto on/off function will never work in the 2nd position. So with it flaky already, and a 50/50 chance of it working, the auto on/off function is hosed. Worse is Targus considers this working and correct behavior.
Lazy design and poor execution. I returned mine and picked up a MarWare case, much happier.
What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: the design
