The Blue Crane Digital Introduction to the Canon Rebel T3i/600D Instructional DVD NBC139 helps you understand the basic features and controls of your Canon Rebel T3i/600D DSLR camera. Tutorial topics are arranged in chapters for easy comprehension.
This is a must have for anyone who is new to the Canon T3i. I would not have known where to being without it. I have watched it 3 times so far and pick up something new each time. I recommend doing it in segments as it is too much informaiton to process all at once.
What's great about it: I learned a lot about using the camera
I needed a bag that would hold all of my gear and be easy to carry around. This was the best I could find. I like all of the pockets to hold smaller items.
What's great about it: Keeps everything in one location.
Canon EF 70–300mm f/4–5.6 IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens: If you're looking for a lens that gets you close to the action, this versatile telephoto zoom lens provides a longer reach for sports, weddings and events, nature photography and more. It's equipped with an image stabilizer, so you can create sharp photos and video while using slower shutter speeds. And when you're not shooting, the zoom lock button lets you keep the lens securely fixed in place.
This is a nice lens, but I wish the range were a little better; wish it started at 18mm instead of 70 mm. This seems to be the only lens Canon offers that offers a decent telephoto distance. Forces me to constantly change lenses. At this price I live in fear that I am going to drop it while chaging it out. Heavy lens.
What's great about it: Love to zoom in.
What's not so great: Wish it statred at a lower mm.

This is my first DSLR. I wanted a camera that I could learn and grow with. It is taking time to get familiar and comfortable with all of the camera's functions. The instructional video does help. I bought this camera primarily for scenic and nighttime shots. Have been able to take some good ones, but will need to practice A LOT more.
What's great about it: Takes very nice pictures once all the settings are right.
What's not so great: Getting the settings right takes a lot of experimenting.
