I ended up returning the stove because I did not like the "chicken nugget" and the "pizza" buttons on the stove. As a foodie/cook, I find that insulting! I don't eat those things. And who is to say that is even the right temperature since each brand/package is different??!?! I also did not like the industrial style handle of the stove. I think the stove is powerful which is really good for the asian cooking I do. And I do like the Samsung "blue" lights but I returned it for the two reasons above.

I read so many mixed reviews on so many dishwashers. But after having to change out our old dishwasher of 17 years (the good ol' no frills Maytag), this dishwasher is simply amazing. It fits so many dishes, way more than my old dishwasher. I love, love the configurations and how many more cups I can put on top! It is so quiet, and plays this cute melody when it is done. It takes a long time to do a load on normal (2 hours and 11 minutes) but I think that is because of the energy saver feature. I just hope this dishwasher will last us a long time, like our other one, but in the meantime I am really loving it and have no regrets buying it. In fact, I sing it's praises to all my family and friends. I haven't used all the features on the dishwasher yet ( like the half load cleaning, all the different levels of cleaning, and the adjusting of the top shelf) but the normal cleaning has been perfect so far!

I bought this and then ended up returning it. The reason why I returned it - I found the lights inside to be really dark!!! I like light, and the light in this fridge was in the back, and it was dark inside in the store already, and that was without food inside the fridge! After putting food in, it will be pretty dark! I was also not crazy about the industrial handle design. So I changed my mind and returned it.

Coming from a 15 year side by side Kenmore fridge, we decided it was time for a new one, with the kitchen remodel. We decided to go with the LG French Door fridge based on recommendations and reviews. The design, color of the stainless, door handle are all very nice. I LOVE the ice maker and water dispenser. The freezer fits a lot of items. I am still getting used to the fridge part that is on top. I feel like there is not enough shelf space to put tall items, like ketchup, 2 liter soda, etc... The upper shelf on door that holds the cheese/butter does NOT have a cover, which is odd. Some of the smaller LG and larger LG fridges have it but this one does not. Of course, I did not notice until I was using it. Only one of the shelves can be pushed in half way so you can put a taller item on the shelf below. I was fitting all the milks and drinks in this little space, until I realized, I had to reconfigure everything to be able to put the taller items in more shelves. There is no egg basket. The ice maker makes ice nicely. The ice is smaller than the ice from my old fridge, but I like it. There is an ice bucket in the freezer that you can store more ice. The water dispenser is nice, too. I like the alarm that sounds when the fridge door is open. The Best Buy delivery people did a great job delivery my appliances. Somehow they shimmied this big fridge through my 32" kitchen door without removing any fridge doors and there were no scratches. I left the plastic bags around the handles, but checked everything else. When I removed the plastic off of the handles weeks later is when I noticed a 2 inch scratch on one of the handles. Bummer. Wish I noticed it earlier and mentioned it. Make sure you have enough space around the fridge, like at least an extra inch on both sides, and an extra inch or two on top, or it will be a very tight fit! It runs quietly but it does make noise from time to time.

Originally I had chose the Samsung range. The next day, I cancelled that order and went with LG instead. LG has really good reviews, I liked the way it looked, and Consumer Reports had good reviews on its cooking and baking features, so it can't be that bad, right? It is really attractive, and everything bakes really well. The stove goes on fast and quick, and is powerful. I am still trying to figure out the Convection Bake feature (can't figure out the timing) but my food are all coming out nicely!! The inside of range is very attractive (a beautiful blue/purple). I also like the music it plays when the food is ready. P.S. This stove also comes with a middle griddle pan, and a matching purple/blue broiler pan. A lot of stoves no longer come with either of those. I am looking forward to using the "Proofing" button which is great for rising dough. I love to bake and cannot wait to use it to rise my cinnamon rolls, etc... Oh, and I cancelled the Samsung because I did not like the way the handle looked, and I did not like the chicken nugget and pizza buttons on the stove. It was an insult to the chef, I feel!
