great value, solid stand

Overall this is a very good stand deserving of 4 stars.
The top is 58" and easily holds my 55" TV, it would hold a 60" and possibly even a 65". If you have a lot of components, this may not be the stand for you. The legs that the component shelves sit on are staggered, so the shelves are much shorter than the top. The first component shelf is 48" and the bottom shelf is 42". The standard width for full size componets is just under 18", so you can not place 3 full size components side by side on either shelf. I have a Yahama receiver, Xbox, and Uverse cable box on the first shelf and a Wii and Sony BD player on the second shelf. This all fits easily.
The stand was easy to assemble - no tools required. I did have some confusion with the back support bracket. The bar seem to be bent downward at the ends so that it was almost 1/2" below touching the glass at the very end. I agree with other people's comments about the sticker on the top shelf. I had to soak it with hot water to get the glue to come off, it took longer to remove the sticker than to assemble the stand.
What's great about it: price
What's not so great: removing the sticker, bottom shelf width
I would recommend this to a friend!
