I will start off by saying that this is by far one of the best receivers I have ever used in my living room. I replaced the Denon that was in there (7.1) and now I am planning to add more speakers to the mix to move into Atmos with. I was sold by doing my research on it from various places like http://pocinc.net/blog/product-reviews/review-yamahas-rx-a3060-aventage-11-2-channel-4k-hdr-receiver-with-dolby-atmos-and-dtsx/ when it came down to the height channels in the roof and the wattage per channel it offered vs having to use additional amps. I wasn't all-in at first. There was a chance I might have sent it back if I didn't like it. However, in the end, it all worked out quite nicely. Performance, features and a few other variables filled the mystery gap in my opinion and I became all-in within the first week. I Love it !

I love this speaker. It has proven to be both durable against my rough handling as well as loud. I was looking for something to take with me hiking or to strap to my mountain bike during relaxing rides and I found that and more in this speaker. I wound up learning about it via a review I read (http://pocinc.net/blog/product-reviews/review-kicker-kpm50-bluetooth-wireless-speaker/) while researching some of the JBL options. The same site had mentioned the JBL to be "meh" and the Kicker was listed under the "similar" items (or related or however it was worded). I found my way to it from there and finished reading with a whole new quest. I wound up picking one up and so glad I did. The kicker is so loud and sounds so good. It is a little heavy, but worth the sacrifice as it sounds so much better than the other speakers I have listened to. I have also dropped it in the spa by accident (well, I didn't, but a certain someone running around the edge not paying attention did) and it kept playing without any interruption. Pretty cool!
