To start with...I usually leave positive reviews, this may be one of the only negative ones I have written recently. I brought in my girlfriends car to install a head unit and speakers I bought her for Christmas. I was going to do the install myself, but they said it was only $50. It was $20 to plug in a cable in the back of the head unit for an iphone and $20 to pair bluetooth. I had to pay for the cable install because it was on the back of the deck, I declined the pairing cost as it takes 30 seconds. I thought both of these costs were a little ridiculous. They said it would only take an hour and a half. A little over 2 and a half hours later they called me to pick up the car. After driving off I notice that there is a double turn signal noise and door chime. Very annoying. The new adapter has chimes too I guess for some models. My girlfriend noticed that her climate control lights were not working below the radio. Hence I return to Best Buy to fix the problems. An hour and a half later I get a call from the tech. I return to the shop to find out that they did not fix anything. I immediately went to the manager. He talked to the guys and they disconnected the chime which took another hour. Why they didn't just do it in the first place I have no idea. They did not know why the dash lights were not working and even said they didn't even go near them??? Now I have to drop the car at the dealer to see what is wrong with the dash then bring the car back to Best Buy AGAIN. I was told they may pay for the fix. They said they would not guarantee it. Do not waste your time, energy, or money on install services from Best Buy. I may never even go back to the store again because of this experience.
