Good Freezer, Better Kegerator

I purchased 2 of these because of the reviews and great price. One I am using as a freezer. As a freezer, I would give this 3.5 stars, mainly because it doesn't allow you to control the temperature accurately and it doesn't get super cold even at its max setting but I'm guessing that's why it gets an energy star rating. The other I hooked up to a temperature controller and use it as a kegerator. It easily holds 6-7 corny kegs and works great with an insulated wood spacer I made with taps and the temperature controller.

How cold does it get
This is my only complaint is that it does not get super cold. Generally on the lowest setting it sits in the 20-ish degrees F. Ice cream is pretty easily scooped but it does keep food frozen. My guess is that is why it gets an energy star rating. It does not have a digital setting, just a knob to set hold cold you want it.

What company manufactures this freezer?
This is a Best Buy brand called Insignia. They have products contracted/specifically made to their specifications and generally are a little cheaper. I've had 2 of these freezers for around a year now and they work fine.
