First the positives. I enjoy the ability to brew coffee three different ways, particularly the single cup choice of using either Keurig cups or my own coffee grounds. I like a strong cup of joe and the Keurig cups, although convenient, don't often provide me with the strength I desire which makes the grounds option so appealing. You can also make a larger cup with the grounds option as the Keurig cups are quite small in size. The controls are easy to use: simply turn the dial to the desired option and hit the "Brew" button. The visible water markers on the side is a bonus for measuring and one place to add water for all options is very convenient. All options do provide a great tasting cup of coffee.
My main gripe is the heat factor. None of the three options provide a hot cup of coffee. It is really warm, but not hot, at least for me. Still drinkable though. Also, the hot plate under the pot heats up even when you are brewing a single cup. Lastly, there is a great reusable single cup filter included. Why not provide one for the pot as well?

What's great about it: Versatility to brew 3 ways, small footprint
What's not so great: Does not get hot enough, wastes energy unnecessarily

My inly gripe about this machine is that if you put too much water in the water tank when using the single brew setting, you have to remove the excess before it will work. A, getting it back out is easier said than done (I used a turkey baster) and B, it's not a lot of water before it registers as too much. Other than that, no complaints!

Removing Excess Water Made Easy
February 18, 2014
This happened to me and I just removed the grounds from the machine, turned the dial to the pot option and let it run its cycle. Voila, hot water that you can dump out of the pot into the sink and then measure out your water again (this time correctly!) for the single cup option. Make sure to turn the dial back to the single cup option before brewing!
