The quad is awesome. It must be set on a flat surface. Turn on the controller. Pull each lever at the same time with your thumbs to the bottom corners of the joystick area. The quad copter lights will blink. When they blink it has now in sync with the level your quad copter was setting at. If you do this on uneven service it will fly that way. So, if you sync it on a slope and not level ground then it will fly like you had it setting. If you had it sloping forward when you synced it then it will not hover, it will fly forward because you synced it on uneven ground. This mini quad for the money is awesome. Yes the battery don't last long. Go by extra batteries for back up and you can play much longer. I fly is outside all the time, even in a little wind. Once you learn the controls it will be your favorite toy. 55 year old grandpa , I love this thing
