DIED IN LESS THAN A YEAR OF USE!

PURCHASED A PANASONIC TO REPLACE AN OLDER ONE THAT LASTED AROUND 5 YEARS. THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO BE BRAND LOYAL. NOW I GET A CODE THAT SAYS THE MAGNATRON IS SHOT.....MEANING THAT IT IS DEAD! NOW BEST BUT WILL JERK ME AROUND AND INSIST I MAIL IT TO THE MANUFACTURER AND WAIT TO GET IT BACK. THE WAIT TIME AND THE COST TO SEND IT IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE TO GO THROUGH.....BEST BUY SEEMS TO SELL A LOT OF PRODUCTS THAT FAIL AND THE WARRANTY IS MORE TROUBLE THAN IT IS WORTH DOING.
What's great about it: NOTHING THAT A CHEAP UNIT WOULD NOT HAVE PROVIDED.
What's not so great: DEAD IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
