I was really excited to try this antenna because it’s from “the cord cutting company”. I was a bit disappointed when I found out that I was not getting all the local channels in my area. It claimed that I will get at least 70+ channels using the gomohu.com/bestbuy but instead I only get 33 channels which is about the same from my older HDTV antenna.
I read the instructions to make sure I was not missing anything from the easy setup but I did the install correctly after my second check.
A reason for my disappointment was because it has to be plugged in and I don’t get great results. If you are coming from a old school antenna you may love it but current cable customers may not yet be convince that this will cut the cord.

Box claims it’s made in USA but the wires are labeled made in China
Requires power for the amplifier
Conclusion to my review is that mohu supreme antenna will save you money if you get rid of cable but give yourself time to get use to it. I will try different placements until I find the perfect position for the most channels. I say try it.

The box gave me the impression that the Link 300 would be too big to be discreet on my tv stand but it is much smaller in a good way. This is very easy to setup and I was using the built in Google Assistant in a few minutes. Having the Link 300 voice activated speaker allows me to now have Google upstairs and downstairs. I love playing music and have the song playing in sync with my Google Home.
The Link 300 is very loud for its size. I know for small gatherings it will make a great companion and provide entertainment for my guests. Guests can connect via Bluetooth and play music on their playlists or just say “Hey Google” and have fun asking the Google Assistant things.
The Link 300 does everything it describes and very easy to use with big buttons on top for basic controls. If you want great sound and also want voice control for your smart home this is it. From adjusting your thermostat to turning on and off your lights without getting up. This will continue to get better with updates and the way of the future.

Good cleaning bad app

I was happy to receive my new Rogue vacuum because of all the cool features that’s packed. Hoover tried to make setup as easy as possible and I’m sure many people will appreciate that. To start your cleaning mission with the Rogue all you need is an outlet for the charger with enough room to place the docking station. I did my 3 hour charge and by hitting the play button the Rogue was on its way to help me clean my floors.
You can see how it is analyzing your rooms so it can have a map ready to clean everywhere possible. The Rogue is a smart vacuum for many reasons. Compared to my other robot vacuum it navigates without bumping into everything which eliminates the extra noise.
After the Rogue completed the cleaning it easily returned to its docking station. I checked the small canister and I will say it picked up a lot. I’m proud to say that the Rogue performed amazingly well when it comes to cleaning and that is the main objective.
With the design I do like it but I would like to see it shorter in height so it can fit under more furnitures. The Rogue has trouble going under my tv stand and sofa.
The app I cannot review properly. I did download the iOS app but I cannot get it to connect to the WiFi. I followed step by step directions to have it working but I continue to get a connection error. I’m not new to using WiFi so I can say that I know enough to know the basics of connecting a device to my router. I tried for hours and on different days but still no success. I included a picture showing the error. The error came up even when I made the WiFi insecure with no security password.
Many of the features of the Rogue are from using the app so because I cannot access it I cannot give this a higher review without using the app. I will update my review with a comment if and when I can finally use the app.

Comfort is more simple and convenient

Welcome to probably the best thermostat yet. Honeywell RTH9585WF was clearly thinking of customers needs and wants when designing this WiFi smart color thermostat.
Let’s start with cons:
There’s really nothing bad about this but you will need to have some basic tech skills and electrical knowledge to complete setup. If you don’t have that I recommend finding a friend or maybe a professional to avoid possible frustration.
Now the good stuff:
Installation for me was very quick and easy because I have basic homeowner skills. The instructions provided by Honeywell are very easy to follow and Honeywell also have YouTube videos to give you visual step by step directions.
I do want to point out something that I find important to know is the large touchscreen thermostat fits in a small frame so you might have to paint the drywall if the new Honeywell is smaller than your old thermostat.
When you have your wiring done correctly and your Honeywell RTH9585WF is mounted on the wall it will guide you through the basic setup such as WiFi and more.
Features:
This thermostat is loaded with features so I’ll list some of my favorites.
I love the free app that you can download from your iOS or Android App Store. You can change your temperature settings without getting out of bed or even away from home.
You can schedule the week from your thermostat or app. By the way the 5 day weather forecast is in the app for your convenience.
Passcode lock is also available in the settings if you need restrictions for those using your thermostat.
The interface both on the thermostat and app are both great. The key information you may need to know are simply displayed for you. Yes you can compare things like the indoor humidity with the outside humidity.
The Honeywell thermostat looks great. You can even make it look better by going to settings and change the background to match your paint color.
The Honeywell is energy star certified, it has a list of smart home partners such as Google, and the list can continue but to some it up I’m excited about the Honeywell RTH9585WF WiFi color thermostat and I know you will too.

Simple and safe security

I now have a SimpliSafe defend wireless camera and I’m feeling more safe having it.
The company make setup so easy leaving you to really decide on the placement of the sensors.
In about 35 minutes my SimpliSafe wireless security was ready to be used.
It have adhesive if you decide to go that route but I chose the screws because I feel like it will hold longer.
The defend kit includes the keypad, 6 door/window sensors, 2 motion detectors, remote, base, and manual.
I’m using everything but 4 of the sensors because my motion detector covers the windows on the level.
Monitoring with SimpliSafe is affordable compared to the bigger security companies.
If you pay for monitoring you will not be locked in a long contract.
I did not 5 star the SimpliSafe because:
The keypad looks dated and the keys do not illuminate.
No smart home integration. I think this should atleast be able to arm the alarm.
Not able to use the app unless you activate monitoring. Basic features should be available to everyone with the security system.
In about 6 months this SimpliSafe pays for itself. I like that you can add any component be SimpliSafe to customize it to your home or business.
In conclusion this is for just about anyone that needs a little extra security for a great price.

A laptop that’s good enough for a pro

After searching for a perfect laptop this fell into my lap. This may just have everything I want or need.
In the box:
HP Spectre x360 laptop, Power adaptor, Case, Instructions and Manual.
Appearance:
The HP Spectre x360 convertible has a beautiful design. It is a piece of art because it is well designed with quality in mind. I know it can easily out do or go toe to toe with any of the top competitors.
Setup:
The Spectre x360 comes charged so you can just power it on and start your setup. It is about 10 minutes for a complete setup.
Performance:
The Spectre x360 is a 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor and 256GB drive. This is a powerful laptop and it already have the windows 10 installed. I can do anything that I want from quick web browsing to working on a project. I continue finding new features as I dig in. It transform from a laptop to a tablet now how cool is that. This is touchscreen so the possibilities continues with this 13.3 Spectre. The touchscreen is smudge resistant because after using it my screen is still looking great. Everything seems easy to locate and if you are having trouble finding something you can always ask Cortana.
Price:
It might feel like it’s expensive but you get what you pay for in this case. If you spend the same amount with something equivalent in price you will not get the features and power that this have. Most of the competitors are still not using i7 processor.
Features to like:
Facial log on, laptop to tablet, Bang & Olufsen speakers, Backlit keyboard.
Closing:
I love this laptop and I cannot say anything negative about it. Everyone have their own expectations but I will suggest giving the Spectre x360 convertible a test drive. I do not think you will take it back or have any remorse after knowing how good it is. This feels good while handling it and right underneath your fingertips you have a powerful HP x360 that help you get just about anything done.

Waterproof and comfortable.

I never owned an official shaver but in the barbershops that I go to some barbers use them on my face and neck. After using them a few days later I get irritation on my skin and I never noticed a real close shave. In between haircuts I groom my beard using a edge clipper or my Phillips trimmer and I’ve been doing this for years.
I’m now trying this Phillips shaver 5750 and this will now be part of my routine. This is an upgrade from what I’m used to and the results show. You can have a very smooth face after using the Phillips 5750 because it gets close. I waited 2 days before leaving a review so I can see if I get any irritation or bumps after using and so far so good.
Having it in your hands feels very comfortable because it’s light weight and the flex heads contours to the shape of your face leaving you with a close shave. I know the blades are designed to cut closer but the flex heads make it very comfortable.
The Norelco 5750 is packed with the shaver, trimmer attachment, smart clean, power cord, travel case and the cleaning cartridge.
You get everything to get you started but I’m not sure how long the smart clean cartridge will last and how much it cost. I like the idea because it’s something to keep your shaver sanitized and lubricated while it charges.
The only reasons why I took a star away for this review are because the possible high cost of buying cleaning cartridges and the size of the smart clean. I think it’s too big for the bathroom sink counter top. Besides that I will recommend this to those looking for a great shaver.

This monitor does what it is suppose to do and it has a few extra specs that beat the other monitors in this price range. You get HD display to surf,watch movies, view pictures. It wakes easy so you can have it on standby so it can always be ready when you need it.
I do not plan on moving it much but if I do it will be quick and easy because it’s lightweight.
The Acer s271hl is 27” all screen with a thin glossy bezel.
Instructions from the included manual should be more simple because.
The acer monitor fit my computer and again meets my needs so it deserves a 5 star review.
The monitor does not come with an hdmi cable so pick you up one if decide to use the hdmi port.
I had an extra laying around so I had everything to get me quickly started.
Acer is known for great products so I’m sure I will have this for while before I need to replace this.

Great value 4K tv!

I’m not familiar with HiSense so I was preparing myself for some type of disappointment but to my surprise I got great things after turning the HiSense H9 plus.
This is my biggest tv yet at a 65” which is only 5” bigger than my prior tv and I’m very happy with the upgrade.
The H9 plus is so sleek that I think it will be a perfect wall mounted tv. The color of the H9 plus will match any soundbar and room decoration.
It has many inputs to compliment any receiver or gaming system. It has 4 hdmi inputs but 1 is limited because it is the ARC which is reserved for your soundbar if you plan on using one. It comes packed with speakers that sounds good so not everyone will need a sound system.
Setup was a breeze getting it powered and connected so you can start enjoy watching.
The picture is vibrant and that was without any tweaking. You see every detail from being far away or being close to the screen.
I looked up the price using different websites and when compared to other brands in this category the H9 is a better value. I hope I get a few years out of it because it only have a 1 year warranty.
Things that I did not like are:
The legs/stand of the tv. I do not like the way they look but I’m sure I’ll get use to them.
The remote is noisy. I hear every click which makes it feel cheap and because of this I will only use it to use Netflix or to work the settings.
When I have the tv paused and resume it I hear a high pitch sound. Why does it do that? I checked my connections several times and the sound continues to happen. I will love to hear if anyone has this problem.
This HiSense brand is a value brand and will definitely make and leave a good impression on customers like it did to me. It has the 4k, HDR, many inputs, easy to operate and the start up and apps works great because of the quad core. This has minor things that can easily be fixed but all in all it’s a great tv for the price and will be great to entertain guests because of the 4k and vibrant picture.
Do not try to set this up yourself because this is really thin so it can easily be damaged if not handled properly.

Stream your favorite tunes through these Bang & Olufsen wireless headphones. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE!

I was first thinking of what can possibly make these over-ear headphones worth the price tag? The answer is everything. These are truly premium headphones so I will say after having these I don’t think it will be easy to top these B&O Play headphones.
Detail:
You can see, and feel the craftsmanship when it comes to detail. I put them over my ear and they feel and look amazing. They are leather, aluminum lightweight material so you can wear them for a very long time.
Sound:
The sound compliments these luxurious looking headphones. This makes me want to go back and listen to my favorite musics to experience the true sound that the musicians intended for fans to hear. Take out all the background noise because they are noise cancelling.
Features:
These B&O Play headphones are wireless so you are not attached to any cord and can do just about anything comfortable wireless with all the controls at your finger tips.
The battery life is great for about 14 hours but I’m sure you can get more depending on how you use it.
I’m happy about these headphones because they are my new favorite and I’m going to use these every chance I get.

IS THERE AN OPTION TO ADD A DEDICATED SUB WOOFER. I HEARD IT A BEST BUY NEAR ME. IT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE THERE IS A LOT OF BASE FOR A PRODUCT THAT HAS A BUILT IN SUB.
Pairs with Wireless Rear Speaker Kit SWA-9000S (optional, sold separately).

Regardless of the fact that it has one built in, will this wirelessly pair with a Samsung wireless subwoofer?

Would I be able to connect the wireless subwoofer and wireless rear speakers from my other soundbar, the Samsung HW-J470/ZA, to this soundbar? Thanks!
