The new UE MegaBoom 3 is an average sounding speaker in a market flooded with bluetooth speakers. To my ears the sound quality was average. Nothing amazing and I expected more punchy bass.
Build quality is top notch. The look and feel of this speaker is very nice. Set up is easy and the packaging is really cool and well done. The magic button is cool.
The speaker gets very loud without distortion and is all around a solid speaker. I wish the bass had more punch but otherwise it would be a good buy if you like the Ultimate Ears line. As with any speaker purchase, I recommend going to Best Buy and having a listen for yourself. At the end of the day, only you can judge what sounds good to your ears.

I’ve owned many many Bluetooth speakers. I’d say this one, for its sound is top 5. Not amazing but definitely good. Love the sound, lights and battery life. I do wish there was some more bass though.
Some other downsides with this speaker are the sound effect options, voice and deep bass. Without them on it sounds like crap. But this is the case with most speakers.
All in all it is a solid Bluetooth speaker. I strongly recommend that with this or any other speaker that you listen to it in your local Best Buy. Everyone’s ear is different and only you can decide what is good for you.
You can’t go wrong with this speaker though. It is really great.

This keyboard is awesome. First gaming keyboard I have owned and it feels quick and smooth. The keys aren't too clacky and feel good. It is solidly built, looks amazing and is just an all around top notch keyboard. I have always used what ever keyboard came with the PC and now that I have used this Fnatic keyboard, I won't be going back.

Great mouse for gaming. Feels nice and the extra grip on the side is perfect. Would be nice to have a couple more side buttons though. Set up is straightforward. You can plug and play but also use the software for more options. The LED lights are awesome and I must say the packaging was really cool. They even throw in some FNATIC stickers for you.
If you love gaming this is a solidly built mouse that feels very nice. You won't be disappointed with this one.

The Acer - XB272 27" is an excellent gaming monitor. It is very easy to set up and looks sharp. It has everything you'd want to maximize your gaming experience. Multiple picture presets, G-sync, 240hz refresh rate all contribute to sharp, virtually blur free images.

The TP-Link Kasa cam is an excellent camera and so easy to set up. The video quality and audio are good. The app is really nice too.
My only complaint is the lag when trying to communicate with someone via the camera. When you release the button after speaking there is always a lag and can’t always hear what the other person is saying.
Other than that it’s been a great experience so far.

This Sony AV receiver is excellent. The sound is great and set up was straightforward. Not a huge fan of the user interface in the menu but once you get used to it it is fine. I also like the simple remote. I previously used a Yamaha receiver and that remote had way too many buttons and was over sized.
It would have been nice to have a couple more HDMI inputs as this unit only has 4. However, the blue tooth connectivity is great!
If you are looking for a solid entry level receiver that has plenty of power, dolby atmos and great sound you should give this one a listen.

This ASUS ROG gaming laptop is a powerhouse and is a joy to use. This laptop will handle any game you throw at it. The screen is nice, sound is excellent and build quality is top notch.
Lately I have been playing Fortnite and Overwatch and it handles those games with ease. Set up was easy and the best part is there is NO bloatware pre-installed. I really love just about everything about this laptop.

My only concern is scratching the palm rest area of the laptop. It is made of metal and painted black so any scratches would be highly visible. Also, the fan tends to get a bit loud but I think it sounds cool and it is to be expected since it's equipped with a GTX 1060 card.
If you are looking for a power house laptop that is still very portable AND well built then get this NOW!

The Sony SRS XB21 is a great speaker with long battery life. Sounds pretty good and looks sharp. The white color is actually a shimmery silver looking color which looks cool. The Sony Music Center app gives you more control over the speaker which is nice. It is not required but it works well enough to where you will want to at least check it out.
If you are looking for a portable speaker with long battery life and water resistance then this speaker might be for you.

The SimpleSafe Shield Home security system is a great buy for those looking to up their security in the home. I can't speak to the monitoring service yet. Time will tell how that goes, but the plans are certainly reasonable.
Set up was very simple with everything being wireless. Take it out of the box, stick the sensors and motion detectors where you want and you are basically done. Should only take about 30 minutes to an hour to set up.
If you are looking for a wireless, and easy to install security system. This is it.

PS4 never worked out of the box. Tried multiple video sources and multiple HDMI cables. Why would Sony not demand quality control from their manufacturer. Hopefully they will come up with a fix or I will just return everything I bought and hope others will do the same to send a big message.

Just because you received a faulty unit doesn't mean no one should buy it. The failure rate was estimated at about 1 percent of one million units sold. Every console launch WILL have issues. The xbox will have them too but that doesn't mean no one should buy it. Your situation is disappointing to say the least, but let's be realistic. If you buy at launch you are taking a risk. It doesn't matter which console you are buying.

I purchased this game for my husband. I watched him play this game. I really liked how they made the game seem like it was a show. When he went to save the game and turn it off they showed what is going to happen or what you should expect when you play it again like they would show the preview of the next episode of a cop show. I enjoyed watching him play this game and I'm not a huge fan of watching him play games I usually end up falling asleep. It has just enough action and a great story line.

I bought the PC game disc since I am on metered internet. I get the game in this afternoon only to find out that the disc only contains about 5GB of the 24GB game. It would cost me an additional $150 to increase my data plan enough to download the rest of the game and play it. This is a huge fail on Bethesda's part. I wish companies would realize that not everyone has huge data allowances. Console versions of the game were shipped on Blu-Ray discs but they decided to ship not even a quarter of the game on a DVD for PC users.

I missed in the reviews that you can't charge while playing. This was a big let down as I thought it would an excellent way to utilize an extra Chromecast Audio. Had to dig out a 2 port charger and a second long cable to run from nearby outlet. Not as clean as I'd hoped...

First let's start with the boxing of this system which is top notch, each of the "nodes" is wrapped in a protective sleeve, there are 3 plugs, an Ethernet cable and a card that instructs you to just download the Linksys App to install. At first I thought oh boy here goes, they are making this appear to be easy but it's not going to be.
Boy was I happy to be wrong, I downloaded the app and followed the instructions to install, first I plugged the first node into the wall, then connected to my router, within literally a minute or two, the first node was online, it asked me to custom name my system and generate my own password which is an easy alternative to some of the wacky preprogrammed passwords that wifi systems come with. Once the first node was online all I needed to do was find an appropriate spot for the second one (the first being in my home office) which I located in my basement, again within minutes, up and running, just following the prompts on the app, then for the third in a spare bedroom upstairs. There is also a check at the end of installing each node to make sure the signal is optimal and if you need to move the node the app will let you know, I didn't have to move mine.
I have never, I repeat never had a setup of anything go so smoothly and be so easy, other than maybe plugging in a toaster.
The great thing about Velop over a wifi system with an extender to augment your signal is this is all on the same network name whereas with an extender you always need to log on to the extended network and the speed is usually significantly slower than the original network.
With Velop, it's a seamless transition all through your house on one network name with strong signal throughout the house.
I speed tested the system and it was FULL speed throughout the house (150/150) and also reconfigured my Apple TV's etc onto the new network with no issues.
I can't say enough about how happy I am with Velop, I have finally found my final whole house wifi system.

This is a great idea. Three routers with a backhaul over Mu-MIMO. In theory could get good coverage for a house and for the people who get this to work I'm sure it is a great product. I have wasted over 3 hours over two days trying to get this router to work. I can only get one Node configured. The other two nodes won't connect event when I place the nodes right next to each other, I still get errors like out of range.
My experience has been very poor. Please note to setup and administrator this router IT REQUIRES and IOS or ANDROID DEVICE. This app is not in the Amazon store. I have a few of the cheaper Amazon tablets and figured while I wait for my new Android phone I could use that or worse case like EVERY OTHER ROUTER ON THE MARKET I could hardwire or connect to default wireless network and setup the routers via a web page. No. If you try Linksys Mocks you and tells you must use an app. I had to borrow an android phone to setup this up to test. I should have stopped there. I don’t mind apps and it would be fine if the app was useful. But it isn't. It was written under the assumption you would not have a problem, but the number of times I've tried to add Nodes to this and got told, hey you'll need a plug etc. It takes like 5 clicks to start the add a node process. Not ideal, esp. if you notice someone keeps trying stop making me over click. Seeing it say Uh-Oh press the red reset button and have it not really fix the issue just induces rage, or when it says it is setting up and just hangs, no good.
Also, when the nodes don't connect there is no useful information. The Linksys Range extender I have gave me more information via the web page then this app on if they are two far or close.
Additionally, I've tried resetting the system, via the reset button, but I have no idea if that is working since I can't connect to the router except via the app and it doesn't tell me if it is back to default connection. Additionally, this app connects to your Velop via an Internet cloud connection. It is faster when your connected via wireless to the node, but still have that little cloud connection, and I'm not a fan of having to connect to a Cloud service that I can't two factor protect and won't use the full keyboard of symbols forcing me to use an extra-long password to protect my router.
This setup experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and crippled what could be a good idea. The single router when it was working I checked my phone, and I know it is using both 5Gz and 2.4Gz still have me a strong signal throughout my house and only needs one. But I was looking forward to using this to extend some LAN ports to a few places and saving me a few 50ft. cords I have in the house. With the backhaul it would have been able to cover the data my switches have.
Other cons no USB ports so if you have a printer or USB HDD on your current router, you'll need to consider other options if you go with this.
I really wanted to like it, but not providing a customer with additional tools or an easy way via the app to reset or control the router is frustrating. I know my next step is to try this weekend to contact customer service open a case and see if they can fix it. But even if they get it working, the fact that I must use an Android App, and can’t use a desktop to manage it, makes me worry what will happen if it goes wrong or worse since it is app only what will happen when someone finds a vulnerability in the cloud service Linksys uses to connect back to the routers and start messing with them. I wish they would at least have some form of two factor and allow for more complex passwords, or at the very least once the initial setup is done disable the external web connection cloud service and only allow the app to work when I’m locally connected.
For everyone who got this to work I’m sure this will be the product, just hope you don’t have an issue that requires troubleshooting.
On the one working node I did test the speed and it seemed over wireless my EA9500 was more consistent and a bit faster from the same source and destination for a large file copy, but the Velop was close enough that most people wouldn’t notice anything. I also tested the single working node with some online gaming, both in the other Ethernet slot and wireless and I didn’t notice any performance impact. Since I can’t get all the nodes I have tested true load to report, but I’m sure others who have it working will, and I’m sure once I work with Linksys support I can get this system working it will be fine and provide me with spotless coverage. Just the whole having to use an app, and what I feel a limited and poorly designed app, and have it forced down on us with no backup connection has left a sour feeling and makes me worry about what will happen in the future if these devices go wonky, I won’t be able to troubleshoot, reset/fix as quickly as I could in the past and to be fair to Linksys this is a new product just out and they may fix the app and hopefully add other versions or allow access to the web service locally to manage them. Just know that if you are looking for a mesh like network this isn’t a bad router, but it seems to be crippled by an over simplified app, that is limited to two platforms and requires Internet connectivity to full function.

With the backhaul it would have been able to cover the data my switches have.
Other cons no USB ports so if you have a printer or USB HDD on your current router, you'll need to consider other options if you go with this.
I really wanted to like it, but not providing a customer with additional tools or an easy way via the app to reset or control the router is frustrating. I know my next step is to try this weekend to contact customer service open a case and see if they can fix it. But even if they get it working, the fact that I must use an Android App, and can’t use a desktop to manage it, makes me worry what will happen if it goes wrong or worse since it is app only what will happen when someone finds a vulnerability in the cloud service Linksys uses to connect back to the routers and start messing with them. I wish they would at least have some form of two factor and allow for more complex passwords, or at the very least once the initial setup is done disable the external web connection cloud service and only allow the app to work when I’m locally connected.
For everyone who got this to work I’m sure this will be the product, just hope you don’t have an issue that requires troubleshooting.
On the one working node I did test the speed and it seemed over wireless my EA9500 was more consistent and a bit faster from the same source and destination for a large file copy, but the Velop was close enough that most people wouldn’t notice anything. I also tested the single working node with some online gaming, both in the other Ethernet slot and wireless and I didn’t notice any performance impact. Since I can’t get all the nodes I have tested true load to report, but I’m sure others who have it working will, and I’m sure once I work with Linksys support I can get this system working it will be fine and provide me with spotless coverage. Just the whole having to use an app, and what I feel a limited and poorly designed app, and have it forced down on us with no backup connection has left a sour feeling and makes me worry about what will happen in the future if these devices go wonky, I won’t be able to troubleshoot, reset/fix as quickly as I could in the past and to be fair to Linksys this is a new product just out and they may fix the app and hopefully add other versions or allow access to the web service locally to manage them. Just know that if you are looking for a mesh like network this isn’t a bad router, but it seems to be crippled by an over simplified app, that is limited to two platforms and requires Internet connectivity to full function.

I bought it 7 days go to use as an extended monitor for my 2017 iMac. It seems dim. I connected another HDMI source to it and it is still dim. The colors are accurate. I just wish it were brighter. I will keep playing with it for the next few days in hopes of finding a solution, but as of now i think i will return it

You most likely need to adjust settings as there are quite a lot of them. I played with mine for about an hour before I got the best picture and I must say I absolutely love this monitor.

Will this work with ps4?
I know this question has already been asked in the past, but since the latest app "Media Player" was included with the other apps of the PS4, it looks like the PS4 now allows users to play music and media from a USB storage device is what the app says. Does that now include external Hard Drives or are they still not compatible with PS4 if you use the USB feature with it? Another reason I was curious is because you are now able to back up your entire PS4 since the latest feature-rich update to the system. I already have over 500gb of data on my PS4 and the last time I checked, I don't think that they make flash drives that large. Could somebody please look into this and let me know?
Yes it does! I just installed this drive into my PS4. You have to pop the metal cover off and remove the drive, tape and shielding. You also need to remove the USB adapter that is connected to the hard drive pin connector. But thats easy. Just remove the silver shielding and tape and the adapter should pop off. You can then use the enclosure for the old PS4 drive so you'll have a portable drive too. Its a steal at 89.99. Any questions let me know

i purchased a samsung 60 inch smart tv from best buy but cannot add you tube as an icon on front of tvscreen does this tv have you tube hook up
You should be able to get that from the "Smart hub". There is a smart hub button on the controller. And no, there is no hook up for youtube. It's an application.
