Smart Keyboard available at Best BuyThe new Smart Keyboard for iPad Pro has all the utility of an ordinary full-size keyboard, but its technology is far from conventional. The entire keyboard is draped with a custom-woven fabric that has been laser ablated to precisely define each key and ensure a satisfyingly fast and natural key feel. Below the surface of Smart Keyboard is a new conductive material. At just 0.1mm, it is nearly as thin as a piece of paper, yet strong enough to withstand a lifetime of folding. And it's why you won't find any batteries, cord or on/off switches with Smart Keyboard.

Best Keyboard Design

I read a lot of mixed reviews and watched a lot of videos and was afraid to buy the keyboard but like the fact that it was thin and added very little weight to the device as compared to the alternatives. So I took the leap of faith and ordered the keyboard once it was finally in stock on the Best Buy website. I must say I am extremely impressed and can't understand what all the negative reviews were complaining about. I find that I type at the same speed as I do on a regular computer keyboard and the response its just enough to confirm that I pressed the key. I also found that with extensive typing my hands did not get tired.
The keyboard not having a backlight is not a concern unless you type in a pitch dark room. The screen on the keyboard illuminates the keyboard enough to compensate for it not having a backlight in the keyboard itself. I have typed while watching a moving and on an airplane at night without turning on the overhead light. I just did not have an issue with seeing the keys. Then again I am a person thats able to type fast without even looking at the keyboard so take that for what its worth.
The keyboard just simply works and I am glad I bought it over the heavier alternative which took away from the slim profile of the iPad Pro!

Asus ZenPad Tablet: Watch your favorite media on the go on this tablet's 7.85" multitouch screen, which presents visuals in 2K (2048 x 1536) resolution. You'll have plenty of room to store pictures, videos and other files with 32GB flash memory.

Perfect sized tablet with a great display!
By Briggs
I've been waiting quite some time to get into the tablet game, doing my research on any one that looked interesting to me from the Galaxy tab S to iPad to the Microsoft surface. However where the Asus Zenpad really stood out was it's price tag, 200$ for an 8 inch tablet with a 2k screen? Way more intriguing at that price than it's competitors. So I picked it up and have been on it non stop ever since.
Performance: The Intel atom runs android 5.1 like it's no problem. Very smooth animations, no hiccups on opening or switching applications like I've seen on some other tablets, As for playing games, it's taking everything I've thrown at it with great performance besides maybe an emulator. But that is to be expected from most devices.
Screen: The 2K display really shines with youtube videos and watching netflix on the Tablet. Asus has also included an app to change some of the color settings however i think it looks best and has better true to life colors on just the standard setting however some may prefer Vivid.
Sound: Now this is where the tablet surprised me, no fancy Dolby Atmos or giant front facing speakers, but it has amazing sound quality, tops my HTC one m9 and is even close to my laptop in terms of loudness and I must say exceeds in clarity and quality. Could not be happier.
Body: I was a little confused with the design at first having a small pleather strip along the left side but it is a good hold for grip. Tablet is very light weight and the buttons feel okay and corners are soft. Overall a good feel for reading, watching videos, or playing games.
Dislikes: There are some bad sides to this tablet. The charger that came with it has got to be the shortest charger I've ever seen, definitely picked up a longer charging piece a day later. The volume and power buttons are a bit on the mushy side and don't provide much feedback. However for the price tag these are very minimal issues
This is weird: So far I have one app issues and that is the pnc banking app just won't launch. not a huge issue with other options like mint. But is a bit of an inconvenience.
Overall I'd rate this tablet a near perfect buy. I love using it for just about everything, works great paired with a chromecast, and has so little short comings I'd say it's the best * inch android Tablet out right now even passing the Nexus 9.

Thank you

Thank you for your honest view of this tablet as I have been looking at it for quiet some time and debating whether I want to pick it up or not. The main thing is I want 4:3 and the only reason I didn't get the Nexus 9 is because there is no expandable memory option.
One thing people have to remember is a lot of apps do not support 64bit and I have found this to be the issue with tablets I have that are 64bit versus those that are not. If an app opens then quickly closes its likely a compatibility option as I learned from talking to developers who are working to bring 64bit support to their applications.
