I really loved the keyboard but I have decided to return it for a wired solution. The Logitech Unifying software works as advertised, but there was some lag due to either a software bug or wireless interference coming from my Marathon mouse. It only happened a few times, but when it did, it was really annoying. Also, build quality could be better as I felt some flex to the keyboard, especially with the flimsy plastic risers.
Otherwise, everything was great. I do prefer the "chicklet" keyboards like most macs and Sony products have nowadays, so the typing feel was great. Its a full-size keyboard with a numeric pad, so thats another plus. And best of all, you will probably never have to worry about batteries as I never saw an issue with the energy. The solar panels built into the keyboard keep this thing constantly charging, even when off. Its supposedly supposed to last up to 3 months in total darkness. I would find that hard to believe if I didn't own the Marathon Mouse 705, also from logitech which also has outstanding battery life on 2 AAs.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. I just happen to be a really picky customer. lol
What's great about it: Solar Powered, Wireless, Unifying Receiver, Mac Compatibility
What's not so great: Build Quality, No Adjustable Height, Performance.
Speed through documents and Web pages easily with this Logitech Marathon Wireless Mouse M705 910-001229, which features a scrolling wheel for fast navigation and a battery indicator light that lets you know when the batteries need to be changed.
I'll make this short. Bought the mouse for my MacBook pro and it works flawlessly. It's powered with one AA battery, and I've had the same one for around 5-6 months. Still have 90% of juice left. Really makes me wonder how they did it and how inefficient my other mice have been.
What's great about it: Unbelievable Battery Life, Hyper-Fast Scrolling, Ergonomics, Very accurate for the average user, unifying USB,.
What's not so great: Mouse is made for right-handed use only, scroll wheel might be too sensitive for some apps, could work on more surfaces
