Beautiful but flawed

I've owned Asus products for a long time so this monitor was a no brainer. Just like reviews on other sites, however, it came in and was flawed. The new $740 monitor had a cluster of dead pixels in the center of the otherwise beautiful display. Asus has terrible quality control and I should have listened.

Stay Away

Owned for little over a year and it went out. A quick look online and noticed tons of problems with Whirlpool washers and majority are the same as what I have. Of course its only a one year warranty as well. Stay away from them if you dont want a very large paper weight after a year of light use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
