Capable Universal Remote with Useful Features

Having used previous Harmony remotes, the functional advantages of using a universal remote are well known. Setting up the Logitech Harmony Express was simple and straightforward, with the device easily able to control/command my media components. The rechargeable battery is a nice feature given I am used to the previous traditional battery remotes. I do not subscribe to cable TV so the voice controls for me where of minimal use.

Given I travel for business, I occasionally need to record business travel related expenses and provide them for expense reporting purposes. On my last project, I used the Epson ES-50 to scan in and submit taxi receipts and other travel related receipts.
The Epson ES-50 was easy to setup via a simple software download. The next simple step was to connect the Epson ES-50 via USB cable. Once connected the Epson scanner was easy to customize as far as DPI scan settings and other basic options.
The scan quality was sufficiently detailed, including color scanning, and was completed in an expeditious manner. You simply initiate scanning by pressing the scan button on the top right of the Epson scanner.
As a test, I scanned in a variety of documents to test the scanner's ability to handle and properly scan documents of various thickness, texture, etc. The thin flimsy grocery store and restaurant receipts scanned perfectly with no "feeding" issues. As a test, I scanned in various thick stock paper flyers I received in the snail mail. Once again the Epson ES-50 scanned in the flyers with no "feeding" issues; capturing the document image properly.
Overall, the Epson ES-50 is a perfect portable scanner for light scanning use. The Epson ES-50's need for only USB power to operate is immensely convenient. In addition, the Epson ES-50's small size, as shown on the picture, makes it convenient to transport and situate within a work space.

Having grown tired of my wireless headphones I was intrigued by the higher end group of wired headphones. Included in this group were the Sony MDR-Z7M2 headphones.
Historically, the Z7 was the predecessor to these headphones and so they do share some of the same specs. The frequency range, 4 – 100,000 Hz, are the same for example. The Z7M2s do have lower sensitivity and impedance than the Z7s. There are additional important differences between the two meant to improve the Z7M2s performance.
As far as fit, the Z7M2s are very comfortably to wear for even long periods of time. The ear pads are extremely well padded and the headband is comfortable as well. Build quality is what you would expect for headphones at this price level for the most part, although at the Z7M2s price point I would expect perhaps some more exotic materials.
As far as sound, I found the Z7M2s to be very neutral to bright. Bass and low end was muted; certainly not suitable for those listeners looking for a large bass presence. Mids were "clean" and sufficiently present, with highs being reproduced faithfully in part. Accordingly, I found the Z7M2s to be a little on the "bright" side; given the lack of significant bass presence. Sound stage was acceptable but not exceptional for headphones at this price point.

I have been wanting to add smart lighting to my apartment for some time and liked the features of this system. The Sengled initial setup was easy. First connect the Sengled hub to your router via LAN and use the app to connect the hub to your WiFi network. Subsequently you use the app to add bulbs and assign them locations/names as desired.
Once a bulb is added a myriad of options specific to the bulb become available. On the "White" tab you can choose the type of white light (e.x. edison, warm, neutral, cool, and daylight) you want as well as the level of brightness you desire. By using the advanced features you can set-up multiple lighting schedules. On the "Color" tab you can choose a full spectrum of custom colors for custom or accent lighting.
Overall, this has proven to be a great smart lighting system. The system is also expandable given you can purchase and add additional bulbs.

For purposes of this review, I will not list all the specs of this watch as they are readily available on-line and/or via other reviews. The watch itself is a beautiful rose gold and has a nice build quality. Unfortunately, as noted by other reviewers, this watch has limited "smart" features. Also, for a fitness device, this watch is heavy and bulky. When doing heavy cardio or even pilates/yoga I found this watch to be cumbersome at best. Battery life was very poor as well given the lack of "smart" features of this watch.

For those hardcore gamers out there the Logitech G Pro is a must have peripheral. With its Hero 16K sensor, 8 programmable buttons, lighting fast wireless, and light weight make this mouse very precise to maneuver and affect "actions" as desired.
I admittedly am not a heavy gamer, so I have been using this mouse as a everyday mouse with some gaming sessions sprinkled in during the week. When gaming the G Pro is amazingly responsive, accurate, and fluid. For me this Logitech G Pro serves remarkably well as a dual role mouse. Battery life has been remarkable as well. Ultimately this is an outstanding mouse from Logitech. If the price tag is acceptable, this mouse is about as good as it gets.

I have been considering a laptop for some time; a 2-in-1 being an added bonus. After a full two weeks of putting the HP Envy x360 2-in-1 13.3" through the "paces", I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. The display is nice and bright, crisp, with the 13" size being amble for my purposes: web browsing, Excel spreadsheet work, etc. The keyboard is very tactile with perfect key travel. The touch pad is very responsive, easy to use and intuitive.
Most remarkable to me is how quickly the HP Envy x360 boots up; due in large part to the solid state drive perhaps. Multi tasking on this 2-in-1 is easy to manage given the "Task View" icon that appears on the task bar. Simply click on the "Task View" icon and you can view miniature snapshots of all the open programs that are open.
I am also finding the tablet feature very useful as well. You simply fold the screen backward and the keyboard automatically "sleeps" in order to avoid unwanted key presses. As you fold the screen backward, using the keyboard as a base, you can control the viewing angle of the screen. Or you can fold the screen all the way backward until the HP Envy x360 2-in-1 takes on the form of a tablet.
Overall, the HP Envy x360 2-in-1 is remarkably well designed and easy to use. Fast performance, crisp display, and the tablet feature make this a great option for those considering a multi-purpose laptop.

The R7065 is a well constructed and high build quality product. The vacuum incorporates one main brush roll which does an effective job of vacuuming piled carpet while the suction is ample enough to clean hard floors.
One minor item I noted was how this vacuum cleans along walls. Typically a robot vacuum will encounter a wall then turn 90 degrees and proceed to vacuum along the entire length of the wall until another obstruction is encountered. But when the R7065 encounters a wall it first increases vacuuming pressure, then turns away and proceeds back into the room at the lower, standard, vacuuming pressure. Also, the boundary strip provided is very short and not practical for large open spaces.

Stylish Air Purifier with Good Results

I have been considering buying an air purifier for awhile, but have been hesitant on picking a manufacturer given all the varying reviews. I have small white dust accumulation in my apartment, probably due to my air conditioning ducts not being cleaned, and a slightly musty air quality.
The Dyson TP04 was fairly simple to assemble, although the metal grills, which house the filters were initially difficult to assemble in a manner in which both snapped in to place. This initially led to the TP04 failing to fully rotate, I believe, during operation. After a couple reassemble attempts I got both the metal grills to snap in to place simultaneously. Operation of the TP04 was simple via the supplied remote.
I run the TP04 continuously on a medium/low setting for continuous air purification and air circulation. As a result, I have noticed a significant decrease in white dust accumulation in my bedroom along with a complete lack of musty odor. In addition, I no longer seem to wake up with a “stuffed up” nose. Functionally, the TP04 is very informative. Using the remote you can cycle through various informational displays on the unit, to monitor various air quality settings. You can also use the remote to adjust degrees of rotation, fan speed, choosing “auto” operation, filter life status, etc.
Overall, the TP04 is a very stylish and effective air purifier. The TP04 is perfect for a bedroom given its square foot rating and quite operation. Perhaps a little better fit, construction wise, on the metal grills, but overall the build quality is good.

High Portability With Poor Sound Reproduction

Given the XB21’s compact and light design, the XB21 is perfectly suited for pool, beach, or travel use. The XB21 paired easily with all my Bluetooth devices and played music from all sources with no delays or cutouts/lost connection.
The main problem with the XB21 was sound quality and music reproduction. When playing music selections with bass frequencies the XB21 misreproduced the bass, overwhelming the mid and high frequencies. Bass was muddy and undefined. When playing music selections with little to no bass, the shortcomings of the XB21 to properly reproduce mid and high frequencies became very apparent. As a result, the XB21 is not able to do a decent job of maintaining tonal balance, reproducing music selections, and/or presenting any of the nuances of various music selections.
Perhaps for those on a strict budget the XB21s is a good option, but realistically there are much better small, portable Bluetooth speaker options.
