ELVIS PRESLEY - "IF I CAN DREAM" CD

As a longtime admirer of Elvis Presley, I had initially presumed that the addition of overdubbed orchestral accompaniment on a collection of fourteen(14) great studio and concert recordings would likely prove less than satisfactory and rather disappointing. Prior to its upcoming release, his ex-wife Priscilla having had exclaimed such exceeding praise of this work had not effectively convinced me, particularly since she has much to gain by the promotion and successful sales of this official issue. Furthermore, owning a huge amount of Elvis Presley's studio, rehearsal, and concert material(both regular and previously unreleased, unedited versions), I truly enjoy the listening experience of Elvis Aaron Presley just "Taking Care of Business" in his own unique way. However, I still wanted to give it a fair chance, and upon purchasing and listening to "If I Can Dream-with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra" CD, I indeed was rather impressed. The orchestral accompaniment actually does serve as an appropriate and a positively classy enhancement to the fourteen great Elvis Presley song tracks selected for this album. I wouldn't have imagined it realistically possible; though, his popular hit ballads(i.e. "Love Me Tender", "Can't Help Falling In Love", "There's Always Me", "And The Grass Won't Pay No Mind", "It's Now Or Never") were furnished with absolutely royal treatment. The arrangements are also very well done and quite lovely on fantastic message songs, such as "If I Can Dream" and "In The Ghetto"; yet, these specific songs were not given a markedly or too noticeably different sound in comparison to the original recordings. On Elvis' towering version of "An American Trilogy", an excellent conception was to splice the best portions of three different concert performances(Las Vegas: 2/1972, Aloha Rehearsal Show: 1/12/1973, Aloha from Hawaii TV Special: 1/14/1973). Elvis' highly acclaimed and Grammy Award Winning beautiful recording of the gospel song "How Great Thou Art" sounds even more profound now. In my perception, I find the first track on this album to be most interesting; that is, the addition of classical orchestration to his Rock 'n' Roll song "Burning Love". Overall, the audio quality of every song track contained in this CD is outstandingly superb. Best of all, Elvis' incomparable voice, poignant styling, and the genuine Elvis Presley feel for music all shine brilliantly...at the forefront of each song track. The orchestral arrangements were done in an extremely respectful manner. Note, I chose to submit a review on "If I Can Dream-with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra" after the release of its follow up volume "The Wonder Of You", which, if you read that review, I describe my reasons for considering it as not fully realized and surprisingly disappointing. Undoubtedly, Elvis would've been very pleased with, and proud of, "If I Can Dream-with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra". For those who have the good sense to appreciate his music, or if anyone desires to learn of a supremely premiere artist, the one and only Elvis Presley, the content of this compact disc is an absolutely fitting tribute. Royal treatment for The King!!!

"Donna Summer - Icon" contains an absolutely superb selection of eleven of her best and most highly acclaimed songs. This is a truly enjoyable manner in which to enjoy and remember the material of the late, great Donna Summer. She and her music shine brilliantly on this collection, as the audio quality dynamically highlights the vocal capacity, talent, and styling of this premiere artist and queen of disco music. "Donna Summer - Icon" is a must have for any consumer who either wants to learn of or already knows to love to love Donna Summer.

In my sincere perspective, this compilation of Donna Summer song selections definitely exhibits a somewhat warped sense of love for an incredibly talented artist and a premiere queen of disco music. The "creative concept" put into these tracks severely artificializes and alters her superb work, as well as the reasons Donna Summer will always be so loved as an artist. Candidly, her special talent, vocal capacity, and styling can barely be heard as it really was with what has been wrongfully done to her great music on this release. Donna Summer should not be represented or remembered in this disappointingly inferior manner.

"WONDER OF YOU" - Not Royal Treatment For The King

The 2015 release of "If I Can Dream - with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra" certainly had some positive highlights. Principally, I appreciated the fact that, instead of covering up or significantly altering Elvis Presley's singing, his vocals were dynamically re-mastered and actually brought to the forefront. Admittedly, I had been pleasantly surprised that the addition of The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, on a majority of the tracks, afforded quite a bit of royal treatment to The King. On that initial release, the listener can definitely hear a classy touch to Elvis' works when listening to songs, such as "Can't Help Falling In Love", "Love Me Tender", "An American Trilogy", "If I Can Dream", etc. Moreover, the addition of orchestral accompaniment on the faster paced tune "Burning Love" was done in a rather interesting manner. I, though, can honestly say that the idea of a duet on "Fever" did indeed detract a few vital aspects from Elvis' performance; particularly, omitting some of his vocals. On this year's attempt, "The Wonder Of You" collection is obviously lacking any true artistic consideration or enhancement, which had been afforded to much of its preceding volume. It's disappointing enough that it was decided to replace Elvis' passionate and towering February 19, 1970 hit version of "The Wonder Of You" with another version, recorded August 13, 1970, when he had shown signs of being overworked and tired after performing six energetic prior shows, at the last of seven on-stage performances done for the magnificent rehearsal/on stage documentary "That's The Way It Is". However, the classiness and consideration is quite obviously lacking throughout this entire release. Generally, as many fans surely agree, Elvis Presley was one of the greatest artists ever, and his material already possesses a unique magic as is and as he had intended. On this most recent issue, the track I actually enjoy the very least is referred to as a "bonus track"(i.e. the duet on "Just Pretend"). The sole possible highlight might be regarded as changes to "I've Got A Thing About You, Baby", which might appeal to those unfamiliar with, and new to, The King's original material. Actually, if the basic intent is likely to attract new fans to the music of Elvis Presley, that is an absolutely legitimate and worthwhile concept. Of course, his ex-wife, Priscilla, and others are given plentiful credit for these "releases which would've made Elvis pleased and proud". To be totally realistic, there's also the undoubted goal of nearly all persons currently in control of Elvis Presley's material attempting to generate a never ending influx of money off of the late, great Elvis Presley. Evidently, this release is an overall disappointing attempt. An initially creative concept has undeniably become lost here. This most recent release, "The Wonder Of You - with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra", does not come anywhere close to royal treatment for The King.

This review is aimed at consumers who love the one and only Elvis Presley and at those consumers who wish to learn about one of the greatest artists of all time. There are nearly countless albums containing the musical material(recorded in studio and on stage) of Elvis Presley on the market, with more and more constantly being released; yet, this is definitely not one of those. Just be aware of the fact that the singer heard on this compact disc, titled "Elvis Presley-Good Rockin' Tonight(Deluxe Edition)", is merely an imitator. Granted, this singer's versions of Elvis' music are not horrible, but this cd does not contain any track of Elvis Presley's actual recordings. This release is not a totally outright insult to the brilliant work and memory of "The King", as is "His Hand In Mine-Alternate"; though, it can deceive those consumers sincerely interested in the music of Elvis Presley. This cd's title and cover art certainly should not feature the name and an early photo of Elvis Presley. Rather, this cd ought to indicate the truth on its content.

A Customer's Perspectives On HP Envy m7-n0dx

I am rather pleased with my recent purchase of the Hewlett-Packard Envy(model #m7-n0dx). Overall, I consider it an excellent notebook computer. I, of course, am not merely asserting this for the favorable reason that I had been coincidentally browsing this same PC's specifications just a few days prior, deciding whether or not to order it, and then found it offered on the "Deal of the Day" page at the deepest discount seen thus far. Aesthetically, this is a very handsomely designed model. One newer model is priced at a couple of hundred dollars above, even though it has precisely all equivalent functions. The higher priced model features an entirely "natural silver" coloring on both its keyboard and outer shell. That would be very nice, too. My already owned HP Envy 17j series PC has quite similar coloring. Nonetheless, I am indeed satisfied with this model's silver shell and black coloring around the keyboard. Incidentally, the keys on both models are silver and it is important that they are back-lit. Reading some other's reviews indicating complaints that its weight is a bit heavy is a fairly valid description, but still not an actually consequential issue. After all, this is to be expected, particularly of this type of computer. In fact, my other 17.3" HP Envy is slightly heavier. Of course, I would not suggest it be carried around with the same degree of mobility as an ordinary laptop. My only personal issue, which would also apply to nearly any modern PC, is that the Windows 10 version is preinstalled. The option of choosing or upgrading the Windows version at one's own discretion is rapidly becoming unavailable. I happen to be amongst those computer users not totally comfortable with Microsoft's so-called improved version of Windows. I think Windows 10 is somewhat interesting and useful, yet still leaves so much to be desired and resolved. Regardless, I've quickly become accustomed to utilizing Windows 10, while deciding on maintaining the flexibility to not update to this version of Windows on my other PC. As for my customer perspectives on the HP Envy(model #m7-n0dx), I certainly regard this notebook computer to be of high quality construction and considerations. Many of its aspects are loaded with absolutely excellent features. Its excellently sized screen has a brilliantly vivid display. Its built-in BANG and OLUFSEN speakers emit clear and dynamic audio. Within the few weeks in which I've been using this computer, the battery seems to last for a sufficiently reasonable length of time per charge, but I must candidly say that I do wish the battery's life would hold a charge even longer. An undoubtedly vital element is its capability to nearly instantly connect to Wi-Fi. There are literally too many features to describe in a customer review. The best way to truly understand this computer would be thru studying the manual, adjustment of the numerous settings to one's own respective preferences, and using it. I will close by stating that no light, moderate, or heavy internet user could possibly go wrong by choosing to purchase this HP Envy(model #m7--n0dx). I certainly recommend this product to fellow consumers, and hope my review proves helpful.

T-Mobile Network Hotspot Is Not Satisfactory

T-Mobile ZTE 4G No-Contract Mobile Hotspot offers barely average Wi-Fi performance for those users accustomed to dependable connectivity and fast internet speeds. My family and I found it quite surprising that it had worked at all, since we've purchased other ZTE 4G LTE Mobile Hotspots(priced at two or so times above this device's cost) directly from T-Mobile, and every device shipped to us proved defective. The defects were generally at the site where a SIM card is to be inserted; hence, a SIM card is unrecognized. The very best point of this particular device is its pricing of $50. However, the very worst aspects customers will discover are with T-Mobile's horribly inferior services. T-Mobile's representatives and supervisors(my family has attempted to reason with dozens of their employees) are grossly incompetent and either falsely polite or overtly rude. Each time we've reached out to receive necessary support from T-Mobile, they placed us on excessively lengthy holds, then returned to transfer us from department to department, and eventually disconnected a majority of our calls. As we expended hours upon hours to resolve both service and pricing related issues, the eventual result had been that they sent one defective device after another. Additionally, they repeatedly charged our credit cards hundreds of dollars over and over, often without our consent, and claims filed with our credit card company could not sufficiently persuade T-Mobile to furnish full refunds. Indeed, investigations continue to hopefully recover these wrongful charges. The fact pertaining to the device's W-Fi dependability is that whether it is this specific ZTE Hotspot or another, T-Mobile has a policy of slowing down the data speed from 4G to 3G to zero, while a customer is in the process of using their service. Though, we were certainly not adequately satisfied with this device; T-Mobile is definitely at the root of the problems. In our perspectives, any device compatible with the T-Mobile network is just not worth their overall low standards and services. Surely, serious internet consumers will not be pleased with T-Mobile. Not recommended to fellow customers!!!

SMALL DIGITAL WATCH THAT'S GREAT FOR WOMEN AND MEN

While I am quite a large man, six feet plus tall, I find this "Casio-Women's Runner Eco-Friendly Digital Watch" to be truly and unquestionably acceptable for use by both female and male genders. The purplish highlights may seem slightly questionable in this regard; though, the display is a very dark blue, and the casing and bands are black. I personally think a much more appropriate reference for its design would be "unisex". Believe me, if this design really gave the impression of an exclusively women's watch, this guy certainly would not have chosen to buy or to wear it. A principal consideration of mine when searching to purchase a reasonably priced, quality manufactured digital watch had been to find one that featured a display with an easy-to-read, and a pleasant, clean appearance. Another aspect in my considerations was that it should be comfortable and lightweight, as I strongly dislike the awkward feel of wearing a bulky watch on my wrist. This watch really fits those specifications I sought. A feature of LAP/Split memory makes it very useful and comfortable for athletics. Although, I intend to wear and use it just about anywhere for general purposes. With the benefit of time and date on cellphones, I ordinarily chose to look at my cellphone's display rather than to wear a watch on my wrist. While this "women's" watch is of a rather small size, so is the "men's" version. Other than one having a simplistic, clean appearance and the other a bit more of a complicated look, the dimensions are actually equivalent. The manufacturer claims its battery lasts for a maximum of ten years, longer or shorter, dependent upon how often one uses its various operations; particularly, the lit feature. As a matter of fact, common sense indicates the duration it will last begins to decrease from the moment the watch is manufactured, since the watch is operating far prior to consumer use. The lit feature does not do too much to sufficiently light the dial, anyhow. The light is merely quite dim and only briefly#1.5 seconds# brightens the left-side of the dial. That, I suppose, can definitely be considered a shortcoming. I, honestly, try to disregard this feature as often as, and whenever, possible. The claim of "water-resistant" is realistically something you should not depend upon. The band, which has ten notches so as to fit various wrist sizes, is somewhat narrow in width#just over 1/2 inch#, but has a good length. A drawback to this type of band is it's made of resin, which is vulnerable to discoloration and deterioration, caused by perspiration, heat, etc. Surely, many people#in modern times, both men and women# enjoy wearing a bulky, complicated, busy looking, flashy, and expensive watch, and to each his/her own. This particular digital watch suits me just fine for nearly all general purposes. I hope these details that I have provided do prove useful to my fellow consumers.

THIS UNSAFE WORLD NEEDS INTERNET SECURITY

This "Webroot SecureAnywhere" product is offered to allegedly protect our internet devices and defend us from this unsafe world where there are so many dangers as malware, hackers, etc. There are numerous internet security firms offering similar protection, seemingly almost as many firms as there are devices. Some firms cost less, most are within this price range, and a couple are available at a considerably higher price. Whether these internet security firms do actually defend our devices is something I would not want to learn the hard way. However, realistically, as we repeatedly hear, even the banks and corporations and our government agencies cannot obtain adequate defenses from hacking, etc. While this may be purchased directly from "Webroot" with options to protect as many devices as may be required, from a lower cost for one device and so on, Best Buy offers only these products to cover a maximum of three devices. I had purchased this same brand of internet security last year, along with the rather high-end laptop ordered then, and I am pleased to report that "Webroot" seems to perform as promised, thus far. I ordered another one-year subscription from Best Buy, and my card was charged the full price of nearly $55; even though I had been advised of a guaranteed discount upon renewal. Regardless, when the time came for renewal, it was blatantly apparent that no one wanted to hear a single word regarding any discount. Frequently, a new PC is sold in combination with a bonus of three-months, six-months, or one-year of free security by one of these various firms. Usually, an almost equal fee is added to the overall charge, should you require "Geek Squad" assistance in downloading the new or renewed subscription. A half year of this security product had been included as a bonus with an order of an additional notebook; though I decided to simply disregard that which can prove a literal annoyance as a six-month security bonus and, instead, renewed "Webroot" for one year. At least this time, I can obtain the advantage of the subscription covering the two devices I will use this year, rather than just the one device I had used last year. I must emphasize, whether this does provide effective protection for our internet capable devices, I believe this investment is worth even some peace of mind it certainly does provide.

The "Solo-Pro Padded Ultra-Book Laptop Sleeve" fits my new Hewlett-Packard 17.3" Notebook perfectly. The name refers to hefty laptops, yet it is a somewhat roomy and excellently comfortable fit for a good sized notebook as I have. Prior to finding and ordering this product, I had initially purchased the same brand of sleeve, but it would fit my 17.3" notebook like a tight hugging glove. A standard sized sleeve would've been just right, if it were meant for the purpose of slowly maneuvering it in thru the top and closing the zipper so as to store it for only occasional use. Should you be required to use your device at least once daily as I must, you would need this roomier sized sleeve. Note, that's not intended to imply that there is enough room to provide spaciosness for much else than your PC with a 17.3" screen, or that there are compartments or pouches for keeping or transporting any accessories, other than maybe small items as memory cards and so forth. The fact is, while many other model sleeves specify 17.3", they actually measure closer to 17". To be fair, these are named laptop sleeves, not notebook sleeves, and I suppose a rather snug fit is quite reasonable and to be expected. However, there are obvious benefits to this specific model of "Solo" brand laptop sleeve. Unlike most sleeves, there are zippers on the left and right sides, which allow for both the front and back to open fully and then zip closed from either or both sides. This is not just convenient, but, during travel, this could help make security screenings in airports easier and quicker. In addition to the sheet of styrofoam inserted, it has bunches of cushiony material sewn into its shell, to provide extra protection from potentially moderate shocks. I intentionally emphasize the word moderate, since I doubt that almost any PC sleeve sold on the market has sufficient cushioning to prevent damages resulting from actually dropping accidentally, even at a distance beyond approximately six or so inches. This model, though, does offer much better protection from shocks than compared to most other sleeves. Further, the inner lining features a very soft coating on both sides to avoid scratching. It also would seem to repel moisture slightly, such as in the rain, but definitely not in heavy amounts of water, such as in a flood. This sleeve is made of durable materials and has a good amount of reinforcement all around, so it certainly would seem to last a reasonable period of time, under normal usage conditions. All in all, I was very pleased to find this particular sleeve offered at Best Buy during the same time I had ordered my new 17.3" notebook. My notebook and this sleeve are a truly great match. I am highly satisfied with this product, and I do recommend it to storage and to protect other customer's computer investments.

Lend your attention to my honest review and I assure that all will find it worthwhile. I had been provided very little advice prior to deciding this would be one of two digital cameras I'd choose to purchase. That said, however, I must be fair in complimenting the respectful, amiable BBY Salesperson, since their service was great in helping to compare the features, confirming my knowledge was correct, and effecting a purchase of a needed product at a superbly reasonable BBY price that proved "picture perfect". This tiny Nikon digital camera may be more than surprising to most users. Huge assortment of fabulous features included & manufactured with excellence, plus so easy to operate and obtain satisfying results. The reason#s# for its name "Coolpix" becomes evident almost upon opening the box. If anyone recalls a majority of the cameras and bulky camcorders of not so long ago, the Coolpix L620, puts those expensive, cumbersome devices to shame. I am rather accustomed to a variety of video and audio equipment; particularly due to my entertainment/other event assignments. This camera has instantly become one of my new friends...helping to capture valued memories and important events in full HD quality. I certainly wish, in retrospect, this device had been available years ago when I truly desired to take photos and videos, especially of special family and beloved, rescued pets, with such ease and such beautiful results. Whether your needs are professional or personal, this is among the positively best video devices you will enjoy.

"THAT'S THE WAY IT IS" VIDEO DOCUMENTARY IS AVAILABLE HERE IN A DOUBLE-DISC COLLECTION WITH SUPERBLY REMASTERED FULL HD QUALITY VIDEO+AUDIO MATERIAL. THIS DOCUMENTARY, ORIGINALLY RELEASED IN 1970, IS KNOWN AS THE NEXT TO LAST OF THIRTY-THREE MOVIES MADE DURING HIS CAREER. This Sony Xplod Boombox will positively amaze the listener with realistic audio(bass, midrange, & treble). Do not allow the slightly smaller than average boombox size to surprise you. And, the price may be too reasonable for its performance. I purchased the originally designed model of Xplod and am still enjoying it. Even old and rare, so-called "soundboard" CD/cassettes will not sound inferior, but will come alive. Sony manufactured different styles/versions of Xplod since I initially bought it nearly five years ago. This newer version is immensely improved in appearance, features, and the audio output is spectacular. Take this advice from a very particular audiophile!!!

NOTE ON SONY MODEL ZS-BTG900 FOR HEADPHONE USERS

For HEADPHONE users, who may sometimes prefer listening to their audio in that manner- be it for privacy, or to avoid disturbing others, or to simply enjoy your music via headphones- there is a noteworthy detail. This Sony boombox does NOT support the use of any type of headphone. There is definitely no manner in which to plug in a wired headphone, nor for it to recognize a wireless headphone. The wireless or bluetooth enabled feature is so as to get this unit to recognize and play audio output via incoming audio feed. Further, although there is a tiny jack at the front lower right side of this unit, it is clearly marked for its sole purpose; namely, "audio in". I had contacted Sony Customer Relations, as well as their tech-support, to politely inquire as to the reason why their newer, improved models are not compatible with any headphone, while other older models of their "Xplod" series boomboxes and numerous other large and small devices do, indeed, support this feature. Well, I would have ordinarily expected far better customer relations from Sony than I received. I, candidly, was unpleasantly surprised by Sony representatives who had very, very nastily insisted that no boombox ever created allows for compatibility with any headphone. Sony's answer was not only unnecessarily offensive, their responses on a very simple audio question were totally inaccurate. It did not change their attitude when I indicated proof of the many units which positively do support headphones, including at least one of their older "Xplod" models, which I've owned for a few years now and still use. While I recognize that some customers may think it's ridiculous to use a headphone with a boombox, many other less expensive models are compatible with headphones, and it is very possible that a headphone option could sometimes be desired. I really wonder why Sony decided to exclude the rather basic, inexpensive feature of a headphone jack from their newer, improved, and much more expensive models. By the way, even though model ZS-BTG900 is often referred to as part of the "Xplod" boombox line of audio products, and I consider it to actually be just a larger boombox, you may eventually learn yourself that it is named a "personal audio system". Nonetheless, I do hope that certain HEADPHONE users may find this commentary worthy of mention. Enjoy!!!

IT IS TRUE, IF YOU WANT TO USE CORDED HEADPHONES WHEN LISTENING TO AUDIO ON MODEL ZS-BTG900, YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK. WHY THEY CHOSE TO NOT INCLUDE A HEADPHONE JACK OPTION ON THEIR NEW AND IMPROVED MODELS DOES SEEM PECULIAR. IT MAY BE POSSIBLE THAT THEY COULD SUPPORT ONLY WIRELESS HEADPHONES, WHILE THIS AND OTHER NEWER MODELS OF AUDIO SYSTEMS DO LACK THE OFTEN EXPECTED AND BASIC FEATURE OF REGULAR HEADPHONE COMPATABILITY. ALSO, AS FOR THOSE "SONY" REPRESENTATIVES, WHO HAD PROVIDED IGNORANT AND NASTY SERVICE, ALL SORTS OF BUSINESSES HAVE SOME REGRETTABLY ROTTEN EGGS, AS WELL AS THOSE TRULY GOOD EGGS. "SONY" AND "SAMSUNG" ARE, USUALLY, TWO OF THE BETTER IN CUSTOMER RELATION ISSUES. IN MY OPINION, ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR MANUFACTURERS THESE DAYS, "TOSHIBA", HAS REPRESENTATIVES THAT YOU CAN ALMOST ANTICIPATE WILL EXHIBIT AN ATTITUDE OF INFERIOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND RELUCTANCE TO PROVIDE PRODUCT SUPPORT, AT LEAST UNLESS YOU PAY FEE AFTER FEE, EVEN FOR A NEW "TOSHIBA" PRODUCT UNDER WARRANTY. AS FOR THIS "SONY" MODEL, INDEED, IF YOU ARE ABLE TO SIMPLY LISTEN TO THE GREATLY ENHANCED SPEAKERS OF THIS UNIT, YOU REALLY DO APPRECIATE AWESOME AUDIO OUTPUT. Accept this advice from a very particular audiophile. Sony's "Xplod" line of boomboxes provide the listener with amazingly realistic quality audio output#ie- full range bass, midrange, treble#. In fact, I myself had been quite pleasantly surprised by the performance of their original model, which I purchased roughly six years ago, and continue to enjoy to this current day. Even older or so-called "soundboard" recordings on CD/cassette won't sound inferior, as on this device all comes alive. As for the not so favorable reaction of neighbors, landlords, etc., the listening pleasure derived will, in my opinion, more than compensate. Many of these persons usually won't admit that they can't help actually enjoying what they're hearing#almost up-to-par with the likes of a free-live-performance#, but just try to be a bit considerate and lower the volume of its rich, full-range spectrum of sound. From "Good Ol' R&R" to orchestral symphonies to most contemporary music, you will be highly impressed and pleased. I'm not excluding the FM/AM radio & other features; it's basically needless to say that, in fact, any listener will find all it's capable of doing is equally fantastic. Sony has marketed various versions with far less appealing appearances than their recent boomboxes#an added plus is "Xplod" has been improved in its looks and features#, though I've been pleased with all in that, evidently, Sony surely knows how to manufacture a not-so-large boombox with immensely enjoyable qualities. So, join me in purchasing the Sony "Xplod" with the extra benefits of being a Best Buy customer. Believe it or not, this concludes my review, but I will likely continue my praises.

NEW SONY BOOMBOXES SOUND GREAT-BUT MISSING BASICS

I know, for a fact, that I'm not alone in noticing and disliking that newer, improved boomboxes manufactured by "Sony" are missing basic features. First, the issue of compatibility with corded headphones, this model has a headphone jack, yet the even more expensive model #ZS-BTG900 does not support any corded headphone. Even though these are loud boomboxes, there are times when using a headphone is desirable or necessary. Moreover, while the model #ZS-BTG900 does not support any headphone, it does play compact discs. As for this model, it cannot play any compact discs. Does "Sony" really believe that removing these expected and wanted features is an improved concept? For what legitimate reason did "Sony" remove such basic features from their modern models? These models sound great, but not all customers are pleased with these somewhat ridiculous changes. Call 1(800)222-SONY!!!

Sony has marketed various versions with far less appealing appearances than their recent boomboxes#an added plus is "Xplod" has been improved in its looks and features#, though I've been pleased with all in that, evidently, Sony surely knows how to manufacture a not-so-large boombox with immensely enjoyable qualities. So, join me in purchasing the Sony "Xplod" with the extra benefits of being a Best Buy customer. Believe it or not, this concludes my review, but I will likely continue my praises.

I DO APOLOGIZE, NO HARM INTENDED; THOUGH I NOW RECOGNIZE THAT I HAD, EVIDENTLY, CONFUSED FEATURES AND QUALITY OF ONE RECENT "SONY" MODEL WITH ANOTHER NEW MODEL, ZS-TGB900. THIS SPECIFIC MODEL OF "SONY" WIRELESS BLUETOOTH BOOMBOX ONLY HAS AN AM/FM RADIO, NOT A CD PLAYER, OR A REMOTE COMMANDER. ALSO, THE AUDIO QUALITY OF THIS MODEL'S SPEAKERS IS REMARKABLY EXCELLENT, BUT ACTUALLY NOT ALL THAT SPECTACULAR. I, HONESTLY, PREFER SOME OLDER "XPLOD" MODELS, FOR NUMEROUS REASONS. THEY, GENERALLY, WERE SLIGHTLY SMALLER, HAD VERY EXCELLENT SOUND FOR THEIR SIZE, AND, HAD MANY ADDITIONAL FEATURES; INCLUDING AN AM/FM RADIO, A CD PLAYER, A REMOTE COMMANDER, PLUS THE OPTION OF PLUGGING IN CORDED HEADPHONES. AGAIN, BOTH OF THE AFOREMENTIONED NEWER MODELS ARE GREAT IN THEIR RESPECTIVE WAYS, BUT THE "SONY" MODEL #: ZS-TGB900 IS FAR SUPERIOR IN REALISTIC, WIDE-SPECTRUM AUDIO QUALITY, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON TRULY IMPRESSIVE BASS WHEN SET ON LOUDER VOLUME, AND INCLUDES A CD PLAYER, AND A REMOTE COMMANDER. ENJOY WHICHEVER MODEL THAT FITS YOUR PREFERRENCE!!!

how to keep tv screen from going black randomly when watching it
tv only 4 months old and after watching a while, time varies on any given day, the picture goes BLACK ON ALL CHANNELS AND ONLY THE SOUND REMAINS. only fix is to turn off and on again until the next time it happens. getting old real quick whats the fix ? brand new tv !!!!!
Hi, Fellow Best Buy Customer: I will attempt, as best possible, to answer your question. I, under these circumstances, must make presumptions so as to address your issue. Firstly, your issue seems odd to me, as I own the same Samsung HDTV model and I find its performance consistently superb and flawless. In your case, of your screen "going black randomly when watching it", have you ever considered it may be simply a connection problem, a loose or faulty connection? If you are using an antenna, this could be caused by various conditions, even inclement weather; though, you should check and ensure connections are secure and the antenna is in proper working condition. Other than that, if your issue persists, you might need repairs. Anyway, hope I've been of help. Good luck!

Hi there, "Anonymous". The definite answer to your recent question is that anyone may add data using an SSD without voiding the warranty. I, myself, own and use the same exact laptop and l do this frequently with no concern of voiding any warranty. Just a mention anyway, be advised, if you wish to or if you need to ask assistance of the manufacturer, "Toshiba", their agents have unpleasantly surprised me, and some people I know, by not helping with the slightest matter, even while under full warranty, or if they do provide very, very basic assistance, they are consistently reluctant to help. "Toshiba" agents will take so much of your time, while they repeatedly insist on being paid over and over and over. Perhaps some other companies mistreat their consumers, too, but I'd not have imagined that "Toshiba" isn't caring of their products or their consumers who purchase their products. This may not be specifically relevant to your question, though I thought that I should share this with another customer of the same "Toshiba" model. Again, you won't void any warranty using SSD. MY fellow customer, I'd more than suppose the answer to your question is the Dyson model on clearance at a lower price is of those originally marketed, which were almost intolerably noisy. Dyson's newly released models are improved, operating in a considerably smoother and quieter manner. So, I don't know whether the noise would annoy you, and, if not you could obviously save $100 on your purchase. Anyhow, I think that is the answer. Hope I've been of help.

Does the base swivel?
Does the base swivel? If so, how much?
The base sort of does move, but just ever so slightly. It allows a small repositioning to adjust a bit from one side or the other. Realistically, I wouldn't definitely consider this base actually having a swivel feature.
