The case is gorgeous online, and looks to be more of a true turquoise in the picture, however when I received it, the blue stones look more like an emerald green. I honestly like it better, but I can see where some purchasers may be turned off by this. All in all it seems to be of a high quality. I've been using it for a week, and where I'm a bit rough on my phone, no stones have fallen out yet. It seems more sturdy than some of the Case Mate cases I've purchased in the past. The price is a little steep, which is why I gave the product 4 starts instead of 5, but I've received tons of compliments on the case already. I feel like it was a solid purchase and that I'll be using this case for quite sometime.

On backorder for forever, but worth the wait..

Purchased this gorgeous laptop towards the end of April, and after many disappointing emails claiming that it was delayed again and again, it finally arrived at my local Best Buy for in-store pickup today.
This machine is gorgeous, though it shows fingerprints very easily. It's snappy and has been great for basic tasks thus far. If you value portability and sleekness over power, you might find yourself preferring this to the equally-priced but more powerful MacBook Pro w/ Retina. The picture in this review is taken with the Kate Spade 12" Surface Pro 3 case, also from Best Buy, which is a perfect fit for my new MacBook. Love it so far!

Cases for 12" laptops are hard to come by, so I jumped at this one when I first saw it. I didn't purchase this case for a Surface 3, but instead for my brand new gold MacBook. Initially, I wanted something super slim and envelope-like, however this was adorable and just the right size. My only qualm is that it's extra-padded. That's probably more of a good thing, but it detracts from the sleekness of the computer, which is one of the primary reasons I bought it. I do definitely foresee the case being more protective than most cases I'll find for this super, however, and the design is very chic.

I've had Casemate cases in the past and have usually been impressed. I got this case for Christmas and immediately put it on my brand new iPhone 6. I was so excited to turn it on and start using it that I forgot to transfer my SIM card from my last iPhone. When I went to take off the case to put the card in (not forcefully, mind you), the plastic part of the case just straight up snapped in half.
Beyond disappointed, because this case is super cute.. Probably can't return it since its damaged. Complete waste of $$. :(
