Drains battery fast

The only complain about this phone is the battery. I am not heavy on my phone. The longest time I am on the phone is when I do my Duolingo language learning maybe for 30 minutes and I do not check my phone a lot for messages. I have the display brightness to the lowest setting and I watch the % of my battery going down very fast. I have to bring the charger to work. I did not need to do this on my LG41C that I just replaced.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very short battery life

I thought I did not fully charge it so stopped playing. But it showed battery low and needs to be charged. So, last night I charged it overnight, to have it ready for today at work. I had it on starting at 7 AM, volume Level 1 (to protect my hearing), About 11:15 AM it turned off, needs to recharged.
The sound is great, I like the simplicity.
If the battery life could lasts until it is time to go home, I would be happy with this.
What's great about it: Compact, great sound, simple
What's not so great: Very short battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been with Tracfone since 2005 and changed phone many times, and changed number everytime, until I learned that I can keep my current number. I have this LG840G phone since December 2012. I use it at work to listen to music and dropped on the floor many times while the earpiece is still in my ears because I forgot that it was sitting on the bench when I turned around or got up. Still in perfect condition. I have very good signal in the middle of the building. The only thing I did not like is that the phone could not pick up the Secure WiFi connection at work. I tried setting it up manually even with the help of a Tracfone Rep. The phone does have limited encryption options. I finally embraced the fact that I can't connect to the secure WiFi but I am very happy because of these two things I gained: I do not have to carry my heavy iPod for music (I purchased 32G microSD and load all the music I have) and I have signal in my building. Something I can be happy about.

What's not so great: Unable to pickup the secure WiFi connection at work
