Ok, but not great

The headset looks nice and its overall an ok headset. It is not what I expected for the price. The headset is not noise canceling like it is described. Unless you are listening to music with the volume up, you will hear what is going on around you. The surround sound is not really a great feature. It makes the sound just seem hollow, like if you where hearing whats going on in a empty room with some echo. I found that the sounds is better when the surround is turned off. No equalizer ether to try to adjust base or treble. Also if you plan to wear it for a long time, it will make you ears hurt. Maybe its just how it fits my head, but I find that its not designed well for an over-the-ear headset. I will be returning this headset to Best Buy and will look for something more comfy.

Does not work properly

I purchased this switch a coupe months ago and it was very easy to install and get to work. The auto switching capability is great, but you have to make sure that your device supports CEC or it will not switch automatically. I can even program it into my Harmony remote, which is great.
The problem I have with this device, it that the picture will constantly go in and out. Sometimes I even get black boxes all over my screen.
All devices are working perfectly fine without the switch installed. I upgraded my HDMI cables thinking that maybe the cables were the problem, but it did not work. So I gave up and took it out thinking it was a defective product.
Last week I decided to purchase another one, thinking that this time it may work. I was wrong. As soon as I plugged it in, I got the exact same problem right out of the box. I feel like this is a manufacturer defect and will be returning it to the store. Will not buy another one. Too expensive for a product that does not work. Hopefully Best Buy will start carrying a different brand HDMI switch.

What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Video keeps going out

My switch works fine but with my LG TV whenever I turn the TV off the switch turns off as well. Can this be disabled?

My Sony TV didn't do that when I connected it to it. The LG does and it means I have to turn on the switch everything I turn on the TV.
Your TV has probably CEC enabled. This feature allows devices with CEC to communicate with each other, so when the TV turns off, it tells the switch to turn off as well. In order to stop this, you will need to disable the CEC controls. You will probably have to go under the settings and browse there to see if you can find CEC options.
