Constructed from polycarbonate and silicone materials, this OtterBox Defender Series 77-33028 case safeguards your Motorola Moto G cell phone against shocks and other accidental damage. The holster simplifies device transport.
The bad? It's big. Really big. It's not cheap at $50, either. The good? It's unbelievably well made. I like the rubber jacket, screen protection, foam-rubber padding in the case, and screen protection. It comes with a clip/case that I seldom use, but it too is well made. I usually have broken cases or clips within a week or so. Not this one! I looked at the Commuter Series also, but it's made for folks who are "Slightly" hard on phones. My phones go through it, from falling out of my backpack, dropping out of my jacket while on my motorcycle(It actually held up through that!), to falling of my end table or desk almost daily. I bought a $50 Moto G(No Contract Phone) and spent $50 on a case because they really are that well made. The pick-up-cashier thought I was crazy for spending that much money on a case for an inexpensive phone. Still, between having Motorola and OtterBox's Defender, I feel like this phone should last me for a REALLY long time. The materials even feel like quality stuff. The outlets all have covers that protect them from dirt/dust... I could go on and on. This is one company that is not about hype. They are the best rated phone cases for good reason. Whatever my next phone is, I'll be looking into another one of these. If it were any better made, it would have to be too big. This is about the threshold for me, but keep in mind, my last phone was a Blackberry, so you know I prefer small phones.
