DTS playfi is terrible. Google playfi and you will see that this is true.
Anyways... Do yourself a favor and get a chromecast audio. It does everything the adapt does, including multiroom support, plus it's less buggy and supports more apps. And the best part? Its only 35 bucks. You're welcome.

There was a time when i had a non networked receiver. I purchased this product for that very reason. I now have a networked marantz and am much happier. The software that this product uses is DTS playfi, and it is terrible. There is very limited support with apps so you better be ok with just using Pandora all the time. Also all of the polk omni products I have owned constantly remove themselves from the wifi network. I am at a point now that none of my speakers will reconnect to my network after hours and hours of trying. And no, there is no issue with my network. I have a nighthawk router and have a marantz receiver and chromecast audio that do wifi just fine, not to mention streaming from my smart tv. So I am left with hundreds of dollars of useless audio, and hours of wasted time. So frustrating. And be warned. Do yourself a favor and get a networked receiver or just spring for the sonos connect. Heck, even the chromecast audio is a much, much, much better product that does everything this product does and more. It has support for more apps and is less buggy too. Oh and its also 35 bucks.

I will admit. These speakers sound better then sonos. But you will be so frustrated by them that you will hardly get to appreciate that sound. The magnets on these are massive. These have a real crossover, unlike most speakers in this price range. The quality is there. WAY WAY WAY better then I was expecting these to sound.

Wow! These things are nice. I was surprised to notice that these were made in Germany, so I assumed they were high quality. I wasn't disappointed. I had purchased other turntables before but I got tired of using them because I felt like they didn't sound that much better then streaming from Spotify. After getting this turntable I don't want to stream from Spotify because the turntable sounds sooooo much better.

These 2 channel amps are still made in japan by their most skilled craftsmen. I love the sound this thing creates. A few notes about this amp:
Its completely analog. No optical inputs, no dac, no usb ports.
And yes, the two models below this one do come with a optical input (pm6005 and pm7005) but this one does not.

After comparing the Marantz with the Denon, Pioneer, and Yamaha alternatives I decided that the Marantz had the best audio quality. The features are great, and I never had problems with the wifi like others have complained. I am looking forward to using this for atmos in the future as well!

Would it be alright to use 100 watt 8 ohm speakers with this unit?
Absolutely. Those speakers peak at 100 watts. In order to be really loud you'd only need about 40-50 watts
