READ THIS BEFORE BUYING!!!

I purchased this Apr 18 and less than 6 months later the boom broke off. It is made of plastic. The boom has a square shaped switch that the boom rotates when it opens. This boom easily cracks at the thin point of the hinge and then the device is rendered useless.
Motorola is going to replace my device under warranty but it has been more than a month and they don't have any in stock because, "They are upgrading the quality of the device". Obviously this has a problem they are aware of so wait until the next version. So I have a choice to either buy a different model or brand or ... wait until they get around to fixing the problem and sending me a new one.
Motorola was straight up with me and acknowledged that the device was defective but they are not sending me another unit or a better unit, just nothing until they restock. They won't refund my money because I bought it from a 3rd party "BestBuy".
It did work great until the boom broke off. I have had these type products in the past and the booms are often the worst part but it had awesome range when it was operational. I gave it one star because I don't recommend you going out and suffering my fate unless you handle it super careful and keep it in a little box or something to protect it in your pocket and open it like it is made of glass. Very fragile!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
