Delve deep into your favorite games with this Dell gaming monitor. Nvidia G-Sync technology minimizes stuttering and screen tearing for smooth graphics, and the adjustable display lets you customize your gaming setup for optimum comfort and visibility. Boasting a 27-inch screen, this Dell gaming monitor makes it easy to see minute details as you play.

Just as good as an IPS

This monitor does not conform to the standard TN stereotype (imo, Dell has a lot to do with that). As others have said, 144hz, Gsync, 1440p, 1ms response for under $500? Unheard of.
For the current time you won't find all of that for this price point and from my understanding the IPS equivalent would be ~$650+. I've been keeping an eye out for a year now and this is finally it; I picked up two.
I also find strange how no one has mentioned the thin bezel and flat/minimal design of this monitor. Great looking piece of hardware if you're seeking a modern PC setup. A requirement for me at this point.
It's a great monitor and my first high quality display. I'll never go back under 144hz or 2560x1440 (also g sync is incredible). It will look like absolute bad out of the box but you can fix that easily.
Nvidia Control Panel > Adjust desktop color settings
Select "Use NVIDIA settings"
Brightness 50%
Contrast 50%
Gamma 0.72
Digital Vibrance 70%
Hue 0
Dell S2716DG menu
Brightness 43%
Contrast 75%
Set a custom color and play with it, this is what I have.
R 97% G 99% B 96%
This is a good starting point.
My Best Buy number: 4169100762
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is the difference between the S2716DG and this S2716DGR?

The R stands for retail packaging. otherwise both are identical.

Does this monitor have a source switch button so I can have 2 PCs hooked up to it?

You mean to switch input? Yes I can't imagine any display not having that, surely not one that costs this much. You can buy a new source for what you're paying here.
